Chernihiv Oblast

During the day, the russians shelled three communities of Chernihiv Oblast - Novgorod-Siverskyi, Horodnyany, and Semenivka. The enemy fired with mortars, grenade launchers and barrel artillery.

During the full-scale invasion, international partners provided the region with equipment for critical infrastructure in the field of energy in the amount of more than 360 million hryvnias. Thanks to the support of UNDP, the International Medical Corps and other organizations managed to repair medical and social protection facilities.

Sumy Oblast

During the day, the soldiers of the russian carried out 17 attacks on settlements in the Sumy Oblast. 75 explosions were recorded. 10 communities of the region were shelled.

On the night of September 23, the russian military shelled Shalygine community in Sumy Oblast with mortars. 5 explosions were recorded.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Near the village of Topolsky in the Izyum raion, there was a lot of noise during the day - sappers were detonating enemy ammunition.

Volunteers from Kharkiv brought new windows to the residents of the deoccupied villages of Studenok, Yaremivka and Dovgenka. Villagers are repairing houses mutilated by battles and the five-month russian occupation.

Since February 24, 2022, russian weapons have claimed the lives of 1,717 civilians in Donetsk Oblast, and injured another 4,168 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

Yesterday, as a result of shelling by the russian army in the Horlivka direction, 2 industrial facilities were damaged in Kleban-Bik of the Illiniv community.

In the Lysychansk direction, 1 person died in Serebryanka of the Sribne community, 2 houses were damaged. In the Lyman community, a house in Torsky and an outbuilding in Yampil were damaged.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

In the past 24 hours, the russian army fired about 500 artillery strikes and carried out three air raids in the Bakhmut direction. However, the occupiers cannot stop the advance of the Armed Forces. The Ukrainian military has success near Bakhmut, in particular, in the direction of the village of Odradivka.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha raion

1 person was injured, 7 two-story buildings, 1 private house, a cultural center and industrial buildings were damaged in the Volnovakha direction in the Zelenyi Hai of the Komar community. Vugledar suffered 2 airstrikes and 21 artillery fire, Novoukrainka is also under fire.

Mariupol

The occupiers are demolishing the houses they destroyed in Mariupol and giving the land for construction under mortgage. Residents lose their private property. Their housing is not rebuilt, they are not given another, but in fact they are legally and physically robbed.

Thanks to international partners, more than 2,800 Mariupol residents have been employed through the “YA Mariupol” centers in almost a year. In the network of centers, there are programs and organized work of professional recruiters who help Mariupol residents with job searches, etc. In addition, there is a retraining program in 11 cities of the YaMariupol centers. More than 250 residents of Mariupol have already used it.

Luhansk Oblast

The russian occupiers know that civilians remain in the de-occupied villages of Luhansk Oblast, but they continue to hit them with artillery and aviation. People are forced to spend almost all their time in basements.

Mykolayiv Oblast

On September 22, russian troops launched artillery strikes in the water area of ​​the Ochakiv community in the Mykolayiv Oblast. There are no injured or dead.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The army of the russian federation carried out 86 strikes on the cities and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast yesterday: 4 airstrikes were recorded on Robotyne and Orikhiv, and Yurkovka was hit by a rocket. More than 20 settlements were subjected to artillery shelling and drone attacks. 

An 82-year-old resident of Orikhiv died as a result of shelling yesterday.

Two people died as a result of russian shelling in Pology raion: their identities are being ascertained.

The russian military attacked the Zaporizhzhia raion with the S-300 missile and the Shahed. 

The Ukrainian military broke through the defenses near Verbove, which is east of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia, and are advancing further. And in the Melitopol direction, the Defense Forces continue the offensive operation and force the russians to withdraw from their positions.

Ten wells were drilled at the ZNPP to cool the stopped reactors with water. More than 200 cubic meters of water can now be supplied to the pools.

Odesa Oblast

At night, the russian army attacked Odesa with Onyx missiles, two of which hit a recreation area in an open area. There were no critical damage or injuries.

Kherson Oblast

On September 22, the russian army shelled the territory of the Kherson Oblast 119 times. Medical and educational institutions, an elevator, critical infrastructure facilities and a penitentiary were damaged. One person died, three were injured.

At night, the russian military shelled Kherson, Naddniprianske and Inzhenerne with mortars and artillery.

Today, the russian military attacked Mykolayivka using a drone, dropped explosives on a 78-year-old man. He lost part of his arm and suffered other blast injuries. The wounded man was hospitalized.

During the week, sappers surveyed 1,800 hectares of the territory of the Kherson Oblast. About 700 russian mines, unexploded shells and other explosive objects were destroyed.

Residents of the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, Tavriysk and nearby villages of the Kherson Oblast celebrated Nova Kakhovka City Day in Odesa. About 200 people gathered for the rally. 

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of September 23, the russian army struck the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with drones. The Air Force shot down 12 drones. A critical infrastructure facility in Dnipro was damaged.

In the Nikopol raion, they shot from a drone along Marhanets and shelled the Chervonogrygorivka community with artillery. 10 houses, 5 outbuildings, a gas pipeline and a power line were damaged.

Kirovohrad Oblast

On the Day of Partisan Glory in the city of Svitlovodsk, Oleksandriya raion, the feat of partisans and underground fighters was commemorated. Children of the Second World War, representatives of the authorities, and caring residents of the city came to the rally near the “Eternal Flame” memorial.

Poltava Oblast

Yesterday evening, the russian army launched missile strikes on Kremenchuk. One missile was shot down by air defense forces. There were hits on civilian infrastructure. 32 people were injured, including three children. 16 people had to be hospitalized. One person died. As a result of the shelling, surrounding buildings were also damaged. The city has a specialized commission that records all the damage. People whose property was damaged will receive compensation from oblasts and local budgets. 

Another aid to Kherson Oblast was provided by Poltava Oblast - they sent 40 tons of food products. These are vegetables, cereals, oil, canned fish and meat, sugar and flour. They were provided by communities and socially responsible businesses of the Oblast. Canteens of schools, kindergartens and medical institutions of Kherson will be provided with products.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, more than seven thousand trench candles have been made for the defenders by the students of the second lyceum in the city of Lypovets, located in Vinnytsia Oblast.

Vinnytsia schoolchildren joined the All-Ukrainian action in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Enemies are going down”. Together with the teachers, they collect plastic caps that will be sent for recycling. Proceeds will be used to purchase drones for the Armed Forces.

Western Oblasts

Rivne Oblast

A mental health center will be opened in Rivne. First of all, military personnel, their families, families of the dead, displaced persons and refugees will be served here.

Today, the final stage of the first all-Ukrainian tour of sports competitions among veterans and servicemen of “Strong Ukraine” took place in Rivne. 130 people took part in the competition.

Lviv Oblast

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

A charity auction in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was held in the city of Sokyryany. More than 30 lots were presented at it - these are works of art made by students of the Sokyryany art school, as well as elements of military paraphernalia. It was possible to collect 184 thousand 100 hryvnias. They will buy a car for the defenders.

In Bukovyna, 15 winners of the “eRobota” government program to receive funding for starting/scaling one's own business have been identified.

Zakarpattia Oblast

The American charitable organization All Hands and Hearts is ready to participate in the creation of housing for displaced persons in Zakarpattia Oblast. The plans and prospects of future cooperation with its representatives were discussed by representatives of the Oblast authorities.

The Uzhhorod City Council was visited by a delegation from the American Corvallis. The two sister cities share 32 years of good relations and cooperation in educational, cultural and other spheres. This time, the American delegation brought aid to displaced people - children and adults, as well as orthopedic equipment and instruments for medical institutions where wounded soldiers are being treated.
