The enemy continues to launch missile and bomb strikes on military and civilian infrastructure using high-precision, according to russia, weapons and unguided aerial bombs.
Since the beginning of hostilities, the enemy has struck 291 missile strikes, used 459 surface-to-sea, naval and air-based missiles, and conducted 1,403 air raids. The mainland targets of the russian invaders were Ukrainian cities and villages, namely industrial infrastructure, schools, hospitals, national historical and religious shrines, and densely populated residential areas.
There were no significant changes in the situation in the Volyn Oblast.
In the Polissya direction, separate units of the occupiers are defending in the areas of 13 settlements - Poliske, Kropyvnya, Zakharivka, Oliva, Zhovtneve, Ozershchyna, Lypivka, Kopyliv, Motyzhyn, Buzova, Horenychi, Bucha, Demydiv. In the area northwest of Chernobyl, the invaders deployed the rear area of the Eastern Military District.
In Kyiv Oblast (Chernihiv direction) and Chernihivska Oblast, the enemy is trying to operate in the areas of 12 settlements Lyubech, Slavutych, Kovpita, Zolotynka, Mena, Nizhyn, Branytsia, Kalita, Bogdanovka, Lukash, Romny, Nedrigailiv. It did not carry out active offensive actions. The partial blockade of the city of Chernihiv continues, the enemy carries out artillery shelling of densely populated areas. In the direction of Brovary, the invader operates with forces of up to three brigades. The occupying forces did not take any active action.
In the direction of Sumy and Okhtyrka, the enemy is not conducting active offensive actions, concentrating efforts on blocking the city of Sumy. The enemy is trying to prepare for offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Trostyanets, Okhtyrka, Poltava, part of the forces - in Pryluky and Kyiv.
The enemy does not give up offensive operations on Kyiv and tries to regroup combat units. In the direction of Sumy and Okhtyrka, the enemy is not conducting active offensive actions, concentrating efforts on blocking the city of Sumy. The enemy is trying to prepare for offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Trostyanets, Okhtyrka, Poltava, part of the forces - in Pryluky and Kyiv.
In Kharkiv Oblast, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations, trying to hold positions in the areas of 16 settlements - Svatove, Izyum, Petrivske, Husarivka, Balaklia, Liman, Malynivka, Kochetok, Bezruky, Oleksandrivka, Velyka Pisarivka, Tarasivka, Oleshnya, Nedryhayliv, Rohny.
The enemy did not take active action in Kharkiv Oblast. The main efforts of the occupiers were focused on blocking the city of Kharkiv, destroying its civilian infrastructure, and conducting surveillance of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Air reconnaissance using the Orlan-10 UAV was recorded.
In the direction of Izyum, the enemy is trying to act in the areas of 12 settlements Balakleya, Husarivka, Volobuivka, Petrovske, Protopopivka, Savintsi, Vesele, Izyum, Snizhkivka, Topolske, Bakhtin, Kapitolivka. No active offensive operations were reported. At the same time, the enemy carried out rocket and bomb attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kamyanka District.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy has a certain force in the areas of 15 settlements - Borova, Terny, Novokrasnyanka, Pervomaisk, Horlivka, Panteleimonivka, Yasynuvata, Donetsk, Olenivka, Novotroitskoye, Olhynka, Volodymyrivka, Mykilske, Pavlivka, Prechistovka.
In the Luhansk direction, the enemy tried to continue offensive operations in certain areas and operated in the areas of 19 settlements - Terny, Chervonopopivka, on the outskirts of Rubizhne, Kudryashivka, Pudrivka, Oskolonivka, Bobrovo, Zholobka, Molodizhny, Novooleksandrivka, Popatnoye, Tropasnoye, Tropasnoye, Zaitsevo, Shumiv, Shiroka Balka, Ozeryanivka. He is trying to carry out assault operations and fire raids in the vast majority of areas. The main efforts are focused on attempts to capture the settlements of Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Popasna.

In the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, in the direction of Kryvyi Rih, it has been stopped and consolidated in the areas of Krasnovka, Prihirya, Zagradovka, Arkhangelske, Knyazivka, Vysokopillya, Mala Shesternya, Petrovka, Novovorontsovka and is trying to prepare for offensive operations.
In Mykolayiv Oblast, the enemy operates in the areas of 18 settlements - Pravdine, Petrovske, Novohryhorivka, Novomykolayivka, Chervone, Greyhove, Mykhailo-Larine, Ingulka, Khrystoforivka, Maryanivka, Novooleksandrivka, Partizanske, Snihurivka, Kalynivka, Novosochio. It does not conduct active offensive operations, regroups, deploys reserves, and replenishes ammunition.
Northern Oblasts
Kyiv Oblast
Numerous fires in the capital have significantly deteriorated due to multiple fires. Kyiv ranked first in the world in terms of air pollution.
Kyiv
The enemy is actively digging and developing logistics routes to replenish supplies. The Makariv community, Irpin, Bucha, Gostomel, and Moshchun are under fire. As a result of a mortar strike by russian troops on Makariv, seven people were killed, and five others were wounded.
Makariv
At night, russian troops dropped shells on the villages of Bucha District. Brovarsky and Vyshhorod recorded the most destruction during the war in this area.
On March 19th in the village Novi Petrivtsi, Vyshhorod District, a fire broke out on an area of 2 hectares on the territory of a landfill (total area of 7 hectares). The fire also occurred at an unauthorized landfill in Tarasivka, Bucha District.
Humanitarian catastrophe in Ivankiv, Dymer and Polissya communities. 65 settlements do not have gas. In 500 - there is no light.
Slavutych and Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) remain blocked. Workers have not been able to leave the Chernobyl NPP for 24 days, but a Ukrainian agency has contacted them. The russians use the exclusion zone around the Chernobyl NPP as a "shield". They shoot at civilian targets in the Kyiv Oblast and then hide from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the exclusion zone.

Zhytomyr Oblast
Russian occupation troops continue to fire on the northern regions of Zhytomyr Oblast. Yesterday there were 6 shellings in Malyn and Narodytsia territorial communities.
In Zhytomyr, locals are taught the basics of first aid. Self-defense instructors conduct classes.
Sumy Oblast
Russian occupation troops are not conducting active offensive operations. The enemy is trying to hold positions in the areas of Velyka Pisarivka, Nedrigailova, Romain. Russian military forces are concentrated to blockade the city of Sumy. They are preparing for offensive actions in the direction of Trostyanets and Okhtyrka. Electricity and water supply are interrupted.
Chernihiv Oblast
The occupiers continue to block Chernihiv, partially shelling civilian neighborhoods in the city. The enemy used cluster shells to shell the city center. The enemy did not conduct active offensive operations in the Seversky direction. The enemy is trying to hold positions in the areas of Oleshnya, Talalaivka.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Russian occupation troops are not conducting active offensive operations. The enemy is trying to hold positions in the areas of Alexandrivka, Izyum, Balaklia, Husarivka, Bezrukiv, Kochetka. Their primary efforts are to block Kharkiv, destroy its civilian infrastructure, and conduct surveillance.
During the day, 30 shots were recorded in Kharkiv. The night passed calmly, but during the day, explosions were heard in the Rogan and Kharkiv Tractor Plant areas.
Rescuers released a man who spent more than eight hours under the rubble of one of the buildings of Kharkiv University, which the Russian occupiers fired from artillery on the morning of March 18th.
Donetsk Oblast
Bakhmut
There is no information about hostilities on the territory of the community. The situation is tense. Police officers conduct intensive patrols of the community streets, and the state emergency service also works in an enhanced mode.
Internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Popasna, Severodonetsk, and Rubizhne arrive in the city. A support center has been set up where citizens can get clothes and basic necessities. On March 1st, the Bakhmut City Council organized and transported 1,646 people to the railway stations of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk for further traveling by Ukrzaliznytsia evacuation trains to safe regions of the country.
The city infrastructure functions normally. The utility companies are operational. Private retail facilities operate in a limited mode. The market is working.
Citizens are invited to donate blood at the Voluntary Blood Donation Point.
Kramatorsk
Air raid alerts were heard in the city, no enemy activities were observed. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue to prepare for confronting the enemy. The Territorial Defense Forces patrol the town. An on-site meeting was held to eliminate the consequences of the shelling of the city. Heat supply has been restored in 90% of houses, garbage collection and removal continue.
Residents of the city are busy clearing and eliminating the consequences of the shelling in their apartments. Housing and communal services workers are involved in this effort. Work is underway to document the scope of the destruction.
They continue to evacuate to safe regions for all those who wish to do so. There are volunteer organizations that receive and distribute medicines, food, and clothing. Given the fighting in the Izium District, distant explosions are heard in the city, which makes residents anxious. The situation with fuel and medicine has somewhat improved.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk District
In Avdiivka, a nine-story building, a store, and an administrative building came under fire. According to preliminary information, two people were killed and three injured.
In Pokrovsk, one person was killed, and six were wounded. One more man was killed in Netaylovo. The AFU continue to repel the enemy. The Territorial Defense Forces keep watch together with the police. A message was received from the Selydiv power distribution network: after the shelling, the 6 kW line was damaged, the village of Hnativka was completely de-energized. The repair works will be carried out upon defusing the explosive objects. The utility companies operate normally. The consequences of yesterday's shelling are being eliminated in Pokrovsk.
Residents whose houses were damaged by shelling received building materials from the city authorities. Volunteers help with the restoration work.
The consequences of the shelling that took place the day before continue to be eliminated. The second humanitarian shipment from Kovel arrived in Pokrovsk. They delivered prams, baby clothes, blankets, canned food, vegetables, and medicines today. The Pokrovsky District communities received a batch of 2,480 sets of relief supplies. The evacuation train to Dnipro continues to run. 211 residents were from Avdiivka and Vuhledar, including 43 children, were transported there.
Volnovakha
The Russian troops still occupy the territory. They have appointed leaders in the occupied villages, and street names are being changed in the destroyed cities. The invaders resort to looting and stealing cars.
People help each other. Volnovakha is completely destroyed. Demining takes place in the occupied territories.
Mariupol
The russian invaders put white bandages on the residents of Mariupol so that the Ukrainian defenders would take them for the russians.
Luhansk Oblast
During the day, the enemy attempted the offensive, but to no avail. The Ukrainian fighters are repelling.
Yesterday, on March 18th, the russian invaders shelled residential areas of Kreminna, where there are no checkpoints or military infrastructure.
The oblast authorities try to restore the power supply network in Severodonetsk, which was damaged due to shelling by russians. Power engineers of the Luhansk managed to put 11 more transformer power plants back into operation. Another 26 settlements remain de-energized, 12 of them partially.
Another evacuation of people from Luhansk Oblast started at 9 a.m. The buses went to Popasna, Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, and Rubizhne. Humanitarian aid was also sent to these cities: food products, water, medicines, and basic necessities.
Rubizhne
The battles for Rubizhne and Popasna continue. Cities remain under the control of the Ukrainian military. As a result of russian shelling, a house in Rubizhne collapsed. Two children and a woman died.
Southern Oblasts
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
During the day, Ukrainian troops destroyed the russian APC-82 with a landing force and damaged two enemy IFVs. In general, the situation is changing dynamically and remains tense. Currently, the enemy is stopped, and there is no intense active confrontation. At the same time, the occupiers are systematically shelling, using mortars, tanks, helicopters, and high-power missile systems.
In most communities, especially temporarily occupied, there is a significant problem with cash withdrawals. Communities also lack food and medicine. Mobile communication is often down. This situation remains in Vasylivka, Polohy, Huliaipole, and other communities.
Zaporizhzhia
Yesterday morning, March 18th, russian occupation troops shelled Zaporizhzhia suburbs. As a result of two missile strikes, 9 people were killed (one of them is a State Emergency Service worker). 17 people were wounded (including three State Emergency Service workers and two civilians), another 5 were injured.
Zaporizhzhia imposed a curfew for almost two days. During this time, public transport will not function in the city.
IDPs from the occupied territories, mainly from Mariupol, continue to arrive in Zaporizhzhia. Zaporizhzhia hosted more than 15,714 IDPs during four days, including 3,397 children. All citizens received shelter, necessary food, medicine, and basic necessities. They are provided with medical and psychological help.
Melitopol
In the Melitopol District, the enemy actively spreads propaganda. The russian occupation troops misinformed Melitopol citizens about the intentions of the AFU to launch missile strikes with cluster munitions in the city. Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration fights such fakes. Local authorities have stated that "The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not fight with their peoples!" and the use of missile strikes in the city by the Ukrainian military is impossible.
Enerhodar
On March 18th, delivery with medicines and food from Zaporizhzhia arrived in Enerhodar. Some of the medicines were received on humanitarian grounds, some on a commercial basis to be sold in pharmacies.
Polohy
The community experiences the periodical disappearance of mobile communication. Locals witness the movement of the russian military. The entire District suffers from a humanitarian catastrophe because the occupiers do not allow cars with humanitarian aid.
Berdyansk
The electricity supply, damaged on March 18th, is being restored in the city. Berdyansk continues to host refugees. Residents and officials organize themselves to provide Mariupol evacuees with food, medicine, and shelter.
In some suburban villages, people experience a shortage of food and medicine. It is almost impossible to withdraw cash in the city.
Kherson Oblast
Skadovsk
The situation has not changed. The Russians are in the city and Oblast. At night russian military vehicles were moving. The AFU adhere to the strategy and hold the ground. Territorial Defense Forces patrol the city. Local authorities urge citizens to keep calm and not to provoke anybody. People are exhausted but united. The volunteer movement is getting greater, the market functions. Skadovsk needs a humanitarian green corridor. There is no medicine and a lack of food.
Central Oblasts
Kirovohrad Oblast
One more day without sirens in Kropyvnytskyi is hardly a soothe for the locals alarmed by intensive fights in the neighboring oblasts. The Ukrainian military is guarding the Oblast limits.
In the last 24 hours, the Oblast accepted almost 9 thousand IDPs, a third of them children. All Oblast-level managers have been called upon to use every free moment to assist the army, strengthen their defenses, ready humanitarian cargo without forgetting about those in need of help, and relaunch, at the very least, industrial production.
The humanitarian assistance center in Kropyvnytskyi has launched its Telegram channel for IDPs to provide information updates and notify hem of available opportunities: https://t.me/humanitarnyi_centr.
School canteens in Oleksandria make hot breakfasts and lunches for IDPs. The municipal Social Protection Department issues special vouchers for this.
The Opposition Platform - For Life political party faction in the Znamyanka City Council announced its dissolution and condemned russia’s military aggression against Ukraine. The faction members will continue working in the Znamyanka City Council of the 7th convocation as non-affiliated MPs.
Poltava Oblast
Officers at territorial police units checked more than 990 vehicles and 1,848 suspects; 14 individuals were booked to verify their connection to collaboration with the enemy and involvement in subversive activity. Drills of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue. Venues of the mass gathering are closed during the air raid alert time; in the event of visitors present during the air raid, the venues are to ensure their safety or otherwise remain closed for the duration of the martial law. There are more than 30 thousand officially registered IDPs in Poltava Oblast.
Vinnytsia Oblast
It is rather calm in the Oblast. There was an air raid alert during the night. The Oblast council earmarked UAH600 thousand for humanitarian cargo and dispatched a wagon load of flour to Kyiv.
Western Oblasts
Lviv Oblast
The Lviv Oblast Military Civil Administration (OMA) website was subjected to attack yesterday and has been restored to good order. Unfortunately, some of its information was lost to the attack.
There were two air raid alerts throughout the day. In the past 24 hours, Lviv Oblast accepted almost 5 thousand IDPs. The Oblast currently plays host to 168 thousand registered comers from combat zones. There are nearly 19 thousand freely available beds currently in the Oblast.
The community of Unna, Germany, donated an ambulance to the Lviv Paediatric Clinic. A canning plant has been restored and relaunched to the max. Lviv Customs Office cleared nearly 50 thousand tons of humanitarian aid.
Throughout the war period, local police officers located 12 missing underages, of them 7 minors. Nine of them were found within 24 h since gone missing. The majority of missing children are residents of other Oblasts in Ukraine.
Some 475 residents have been mobilized in the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the total number of mobilized stands at nearly 28 thousand.
Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
Russia dealt a missile strike to a military facility in the Oblast.
Rivne Oblast
Rivne
As of 5 pm, there were two air raid alerts. The situation is calm; the military patrol the border with Belarus. The Security Service of Ukraine notified an individual detained in the Rivne Oblast on suspicion of collaborationism. The detained intended to chair the local government in the event of Oblast invasion by the russian troops; he also provided the russians with information about ways of AFU’s military equipment re-deployment and the army base locations for airstrikes. The firearm found on the individual was confiscated. The locals are united and assist the volunteers.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Khmelnytskyi
The situation in the city is under control. Khmelnytskyi City Council announces the start of recruitment for free IT courses and learning English for IDPs. A chatbot has been created to provide first aid.
Another consignment of humanitarian cargo arrived in Khmelnytskyi from Italy - 20 tons of aid were delivered from Rome. The long-haul van was fully loaded with medical supplies, clothing, food, and essentials. The cargo received from the logistics warehouse will be distributed and transferred according to the needs of those oblasts that currently need the most help and are suffering from the humanitarian crisis.
Kamianets-Podilskyi
There was an air alarm. Territorial Defense Forces continue to be on duty at checkpoints to protect strategic objects. The process of receiving, resettling, and providing assistance to IDPs continues.
About 14,000 people officially passed through the registration points, and about 20,000 people unofficially found refuge in the city. All services work in a regular mode, the headquarters of civil defense of the mayor in a round-the-clock mode. Work is underway to locate businesses that wish to relocate to the oblast.
Chernivtsi Oblast
The Oblast continues to receive IDPs. During the war, volunteers housed 70 animals to accommodate IDPs. This has become necessary when apartment owners who accept migrants are not allowed to live with animals or animals that the owners have not been able to take abroad.
The star of the singer from Bukovyna, who performed at a concert in Moscow on the anniversary of the occupation of Crimea by russia, was dismantled on the Walk of Fame in Chernivtsi.
Zakarpattia Oblast
The Oblast is calm, ande there is no military action. The Slovak Savings Bank helps Ukrainian citizens by providing selected products and services free of charge, installing two ATMs at the border crossing, and assisting other financial transactions without a fee. A quest tour was held for the children of IDPs in the Uzhhorod Chancellor. Uzhhorod received humanitarian aid from France, including food, medicine, water, and wheelchairs.
