Northern oblasts

Kyiv

Today, the President of Ukraine and the First Lady honored the memory of those killed on the Maidan in the course of the Revolution of Dignity.

Kyiv sent the aid to Kherson, including 5 passenger buses, 4 trucks, a garbage truck, an excavator, and 2 ambulances. Plus 11 generators (2 kW and 5 kW) and medical equipment: 30 ventilators, 30 breathing apparatus (Ambu bags), and consumables. Also delivered to Kherson and settlements near it were food sets and 10 tons of oil, sugar, and cereals as well as warm blankets, clothes and building materials, various equipment and tools.

The assets of a company from the russian federation, worth 40 million hryvnias, were seized in Kyiv. The seized assets were transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The company was engaged in the sale of fuels, lubricants and chemicals. At the request of the investigator of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police, agreed with the prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office, a judge of the Pechersk District Court seized the fuel of the russian company.

Currently, the consumption of electricity has increased significantly in the Kyiv region. In order to avoid massive power equipment accidents, NERC "Ukrenergo" issued an order to carry out emergency power outages.

In Kyiv, the bride of the fallen soldier Makhov hung a plaque on the street named after him. A defender of Ukraine Oleksandr Makhov died at the age of 36 during combat operations in the Kharkiv Oblast on May 4. Zholudev Street was renamed in his honor.

First aid trainings will be held at metro stations every third Friday of each month. Last Friday, more than 2600 citizens mastered basic life-saving techniques.


Kyiv Oblast

The Irpin Reconstruction Summit (IRS) project was presented at the UN Climate Conference COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The presentation took place in the first ever Ukrainian pavilion in the history of the conference. IRS was presented as a pilot project of post-war sustainable urban reconstruction in Ukraine. The speakers of the panel were Andriy Litvynov, Advisor to the Mayor of Irpin and a member of the City Council, and representatives of the IRS project office - Domenico Vito, advisor on climate issues, and Vladyslav Malashevskyi, advisor on technological and environmental issues.

The first stationary heating points start working in Bucha on Monday. Citizens will be able to warm up in the Centers for Administrative Services and in the building of the Department of Social Policy. These points will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All of them are equipped with generators.


Zhytomyr Oblast

The fighters of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Zhytomyr Oblast, who guard the northern borders of Ukraine, received means of communication and uninterrupted power supply: radio stations, tablets, monitors, cameras, generators, and other devices. This technical support was provided by the "Come Back Alive" charity foundation. In total, the foundation purchased equipment worth eighteen and a half million hryvnias for three brigades.

Volunteer Halyna Tsvetkova from Narodychi has already woven more than half a hundred toys from threads. Half of the money of the proceeds she transfers to the local religious community, which purchases vehicles and delivers them to the front.

A 13-year-old girl from Zhytomyr sews balaclavas for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Over the entire time, together with the team, she has made about 30,000 balaclavas, which are immediately sent to the front line.

On November 21, a free meeting with an obstetrician-gynecologist will be held in Zhytomyr for pregnant IDPs and Zhytomyr women. This is not the first meeting of this format. Earlier, within the framework of the project, Zhytomyr residents and IDPs had the opportunity to talk to lawyers, psychologists, and cosmetologists.


Chernihiv Oblast

Chernihiv plans to sign partnership agreements with the cities of Reims (France) and Aachen (Germany) in the near future.

The families of 19 fallen soldiers from the Chernihiv Oblast received the orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi and "For Courage".

Sergeant Volodymyr Pyrohov, who was killed during a combat mission in the Donetsk Oblast, was buried in the Chernihiv Oblast.

Chernihiv received two passenger buses from the Polish city of Rzeszów. These buses are already working for the benefit of Chernihiv residents and provide transport links between those parts of the city, which were most affected by the russian aggression, and important social, educational and other institutions.


Sumy Oblast

Yesterday, russians shelled the Esman, Shalyhyne and Bilopillia communities. A house of culture, a bakery, a shop, a power line and a gas pipeline were damaged in one of the border villages of the Bilopillia community.

In the area of the village of Vovkivka (Shostka Raion), shelling was recorded. According to preliminary information, the enemy fired tube artillery in the area of Mala Slobidka (Shostka Raion).

In the Esman community, buildings were not damaged, and people were not injured.

Due to accidents on overhead lines, 32,494 subscribers of Sumy region were left without electricity. Most of them are in the Bilopillia and Romny communities - 13,826 and 12,015 people, respectively.


Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Yesterday evening the enemy launched a missile attack with the S-300 system on the village of Shevchenkove in the Kupiansk Raion. The missile hit a 2-storey apartment building. A residential building nearby was also damaged. A 38-year-old woman was killed, and at least 2 people were injured. Rescuers are still clearing the rubble.

In addition, the russian occupiers fired mortars and artillery at the areas of settlements in the Kupiansk, Kharkiv, and Chuhuiv raions.

In Kupiansk, shelling damaged warehouses and civil industry facilities. As a result, fires broke out.

The work on demining the territories of the oblast continues. During the day, 86 explosive devices were defused.

Donetsk Oblast

On November 20, it became known about 3 civilians wounded by the russians: two in Bakhmut and one in the village of Kostiantynivka.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the russians have killed 1,216 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 2,616. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.


Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

The Kurakhove community in the east of the Pokrovsk Raion thundered with bombardment. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, the extent of the damage is being established.

Avdiivka, Karlivka, Petrivka, and Kostiantynivka came under enemy fire. No civilians were killed, three persons were wounded, and a police officer was also injured.

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, and Pervomaiske.

The Pokrovsk community said goodbye to the fallen Hero. On November 14, a 37-year-old machine gunner, Roman Tanashchuk, was killed by an enemy mine in the territory of the Svatove Raion of the Luhansk Oblast. The defender of Ukraine was buried on the Alley of Glory in Pokrovsk.


Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka sectors, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations. The invaders are shelling from tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery in the areas of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Vesele, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Ozarianivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Spirne, and Yakovlivka in the Donetsk Oblast.


Mariupol

The occupiers began demolishing the Communications House in the center of Mariupol. With its demolition, the unique work of monumentalism art by Arnautov from Mariupol "Conquerors of Space" will be destroyed. This name most likely does not belong to the author, but has caught on because of the rocket depicted on the mosaic. In fact, the panel is dedicated to the employees of the communications building and was called “Telecommunication engineers”. This is the second largest Arnautov mosaic in the world.


Luhansk Oblast

In the area of Bilohorivka, the Ukrainian military repels a significant number of attacks by the invaders every day. Those russians who do not want to go into battle are locked up in the basement and "re-educated" by the occupiers.

The de-occupied settlements are still being shelled by the enemy. Makiivka is completely destroyed, people are constantly hiding in basements.


Southern Oblasts

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

On November 21, the russian military fired S-300 rockets at the villages of Komyshuvakha and Novotroitske (Komyshuvakha community, Zaporizhzhia Raion). As a result, the houses of local residents were damaged and destroyed. There were no injured or dead.

In general, according to the information of the Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration, during the past 24 hours, the russian occupiers shelled the civilian infrastructure of the oblast in the areas of the settlements of Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Shcherbaky, Olhivske, Kamianske, Komyshuvakha, Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Orihiv, Mali Shcherbaky and Stepnohirsk. There were 23 reports of the destruction of homes and infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling.

On November 19, 100 occupiers were injured near the settlements of Polohy, Kamianka, Mykhailivka and Energodar. Also, about 20 units of military equipment of various types and 2 ammunition warehouses were liquidated by Armed Forces of Ukraine.


Kherson Oblast

Today, the russian military shelled Stepanivka, Molodizhne and Antonivka with tube artillery. There is currently no information about the dead and injured.

Today, after the shelling by russian troops of Kherson, four injured people were taken to the oblast hospital. One person died during hospitalization.

As a result of russian shelling on November 20, the window glass in the houses was shattered, the trolleybus lines were broken, and the road was damaged in the Ostriv [Island] microdistrict of Kherson. According to the city military administration, one person was lightly wounded.

In Kherson, law enforcement officers found four places where the russian occupiers tortured people. So far, inspections have been conducted there. The collected evidence testifies to the crimes of the military and special services of the russian federation.

In Lyubymivka (the occupied village in Kherson Oblast), russians are robbing the houses of local residents under the guise of searching for Ukrainian landing and reconnaissance groups.

The russian military continues to plunder the left-bank part of the Kherson Oblast. Everything of value is taken away by trucks. Looting by the russian military reached such a scale that the occupation "authorities" forbade cargo transport to leave the territory of the temporarily occupied region without a special permit.

The first electricity connections in Kherson will begin in a week. It will be possible to fully provide the city with electricity and water in about a month. In the central part of the city, mobile communication and the Internet work almost everywhere.

Almost 1,000 food kits from the Khmelnytskyi community were distributed in Kherson. 12 trucks with humanitarian aid have already been delivered from Khmelnytskyi to Kherson Oblast: these are clothes, basic necessities and drinking water.

In Kherson, on the Svobody [Freedom] Square, the National Bank of Ukraine presented the first commemorative medal from the series dedicated to hero cities. It is called "Kherson - the city of heroes". The design of the medal was developed by the artist Natalia Fandikova.


Mykolaiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy attacked the water areas of the Ochakove community with multiple rocket launcher. There are no casualties.

In Mykolaiv, Pervomaiske, Voznesenske and Bashtanska raions, this day and night passed relatively calmly.

In the Mykolaiv Oblast, the deoccupied village of Kiselivka, which suffered as a result of russian shelling, remains without electricity and gas supply as of November 21, and there is almost no mobile connection. 20 people stay in the settlement.

Mykolaiv received ambulances and a dump truck. Ambulances were transferred to City Hospital No. 1. The Renault Master dump truck and the car will be used by city utilities in their work.

A reinforced concrete shelter was installed yesterday in Mykolaiv at the Okeanivska bus stop on November 20. The structure has ten seats and in total is provided for 18 people.


Odesa Oblast

Odesa continues preparations for the winter period in war conditions. One of the directions is the arrangement of "Points of Invincibility". These are rooms that will be equipped with heating devices, generators, places for cooking, mother's and child's corners. In total, it is planned to equip about 150 such points in the city for the winter period.

Medical facilities in Odesa, especially hospitals and maternity homes, are provided with electricity on a priority basis. High-power generators are installed in all Odesa hospitals. In case of disconnection of the centralized power supply, the autonomous power sources are switched on automatically.

On the eve of winter, volunteers of the Foundation for the Development of Sports and Public Initiatives in Odesa named after Serhii Utochkin contributed to the implementation of a pilot project to provide the Ukrainian military with winter uniforms. The first 400 sets of uniforms from Denmark are already warming Ukrainian defenders on the front line. The project was made possible thanks to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Consulate of Ukraine in Aarhus (the city in Denmark), caring residents of Denmark and volunteers.


Central Oblasts

Kirovohrad Oblast

Half a hundred blind people who worked at the Kropyvnytskyi enterprise, where school desks, ramps and playgrounds were made, were sent to the downtime. Because of the war, the company has no orders and people are out of work. Before that, the employees of this enterprise received a minimum salary of 6,500 hryvnias.

In Kropyvnytskyi, the production of dry soups continues, which are made by volunteers of the "Feeding Patriots" community. Back in 2014, they created a volunteer initiative called "Culinary Hundred of the Kirovohrad Oblast". They worked in 2014-2016, until the quality of food in the Armed Forces was centralized. However, if in 2014 volunteers packed no more than 360 packages per week, now the average is 2,000. The highest amount is 3,500 packages.


Vinnytsia Oblast

9 months after his death, Hero of Ukraine Vladyslav Ukrainets was buried in Khmilnyk.

He died heroically on February 24, 2022, when his brigade was leaving the encirclement near Kherson, covering the departure of his comrades. The remains of the Hero's body were discovered after the deoccupation of the Kherson Oblast.

Residents of the Kalinivka community of the Khmilnyk Raion continue to hold a reliable rear. And this time, the Kalinivka city council, the starosta districts and a deputy of the Vinnytsia Oblast council organized themselves to collect and deliver charitable aid to Kherson - food products for long-term storage, vegetables, hygiene products. All this was sent to the regional hospital of Kherson.

"Kherson after the euphoria". A military reporter Andriy Dubchak showed a photo of the scale of the disaster. The journalist comes from Kalynivka in the Khmilnyk RAion of the Vinnytsia Oblast. Andriy started taking photos like a pro for the first time in 2014 and immediately fell in love with it. The citizen of Vinnytsia is the first streamer of Euromaidan. He talks about the war in Donbas through military and civilian stories and receives world awards for his work.


Khmelnytskyi Oblast

On Monday, November 21, the Shepetivka community of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast said goodbye to two Heroes-defenders who died at the front. They were Vitaly Mulko and Andriy Diaghilev. Bright memory to the Defenders.

Immigrants from occupied cities continue coming to Khmelnytskyi. A large number of war victims were relocated from the city to various institutions in the Oblast. The city authorities help those who have found housing in the villages of the Khmelnytskyi Territorial Community. Nowadays, even international investors are attracted to provide housing for displaced people in Khmelnytskyi.

More than one and a half hundred cars were sent to the front lines by the "Volunteers of Podillia" charity fund, starting on February 24. Off-road vehicles and vans are imported from abroad. They are being repaired and repainted in Khmelnytskyi. This is done in one of the local auto centers.


Kamianets- Podilskyi

Since the beginning of the war, more than 20 million hryvnias have been allocated from the budget of the Kamianets-Podilskyi community to provide the necessary things for defenders. At the next session, deputies will consider the issue of providing assistance to the military in the amount of about 1.5 million UAH. In addition, they are supported thanks to volunteers, the community, and entrepreneurs.

On November 19, the 2022 Kamianets-Podilskyi film about the war "Battle for Ukraine" opened the International Youth Film Festival "GIMPO" in South Korea. The film was presented by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea Dmytro Ponomarenko and the president of the Ukrainian international film festival "Brukivka", the director of the film Andriy Zayets from Kamianets, who focused their speeches on supporting Ukraine and war crimes against children and the civilian population that the russian invader is spreading. The Ukrainian film was announced as the winner of the film festival.

The coordinator of the AUI "Active Community" in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Slavko Poliatynchuk, organized a meeting in the "Turbota" shopping center, where people with disabilities, including displaced persons, live. The event was dedicated to Bible Day, so it was about spirituality. The priest of the Church of the Holy Trinity took part in it.


Western oblasts

Rivne Oblast

Since Monday face-to-face education has been resumed in community lyceums and gymnasiums in Rivne. If there are problems with the power supply, then classes continue during daylight hours. If there is no heat supply, the training will be done remotely.

In the cultural institutions of the Babin community, they knit, sew, cook, and hold fairs. A lot is done to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the displaced persons. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 1.7 thousand squares of camouflage nets have already been produced here. The largest camouflage net measures 9 by 3 meters. Volunteers buy military ammunition for fellow villagers who are at the front. In particular, we established cooperation with shoe manufacturers in Volyn, where tactical sneakers and winter berets are ordered. They periodically purchase plate carriers, unloading vests, karemats, knee pads, etc. Funds for the purchase are collected at charity fairs, auctions and promotions. In total, it was possible to accumulate more than 200 thousand hryvnias.

Local residents organized a charity fair at the Holovyn Lyceum in the Rivne Raion. It managed to collect more than 105 thousand hryvnias and 100 euros.


Chernivtsi Oblast

Bukovyna said goodbye to six Heroes who gave their lives defending the freedom and independence of Ukraine. Farewell to senior soldier Petro Chepil was held in the village of Kamianka, to soldiers Eduard Samsonovich in the city of Kitsman, Pavel Kalancha in the village of Ostrytsia. Oleksandr Samoilenko was buried in the village of Luzhany, Ivan Luchak was said goodbye to in the village of Zeleniy Hai, and Oleksandr Heorgitsa was said goodbye in the village of Vartykivtsi.

A soldier from Bukovyna, chief sergeant Yuriy Petrashchuk received the award from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A serviceman defends his native land as part of the King Danylo 24th separate mechanized brigade. 

The head of the Chernivtsi OVA, Ruslan Zaparaniuk, congratulated the 3rd battalion tactical group of the 80th separate amphibious assault brigade on a professional holiday and awarded it with the honorary award "To the glory of Bukovyna".

Bukovyna gas workers once again combined efforts and funds to help Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines. This time the drone was handed in to the defenders. They say that this is how they thank those who fight for the freedom and independence of Ukraine in the war zone, while at the same time bringing us closer to victory. 

The people of Chernivtsi brought humanitarian aid for the residents of Kherson. Thet is food, hygiene, diapers, baby food and batteries. For hospitals these are medicines and medicinal products, as well as necessary things for rescuers.

Students and staff of the Chernivtsi Trade and Economic Institute collected about 70,000 hryvnias in just one month to help the military . As a result, generators, stoves and warm things were handed in to the Bukovyna border guards. 



Zakarpattia Oblast

Uzhgorod will transfer 7.5 million hryvnias to the budget of the Kherson Oblast. The funds will be used for emergency repair work on residential and other infrastructure facilities. This decision was supported by deputies on November 21 at an extraordinary session of the Uzhhorod City Council.

In Uzhgorod, a "poetic" mural destroyed by the occupiers in Starobilsk was restored. For 5 years, the team of the artistic association "Bet On Art" has been implementing various cultural and artistic events and projects, in particular, in the native Luhansk Oblast. So, in 2020, the association, together with its partners, created a mural in Starobilsk based on the poem "Swim, fish, swim..." from the art book of the Ukrainian writer Serhiy Zhadan, a native of Starobilsk. However, unfortunately, with the beginning of a full-scale war, the mural was destroyed.

The Theater of Immigrants in Uzhgorod is showing its second performance. Internally displaced persons, who ended up in Zakarpattia and most of them tried out their theatrical roles for the first time, made their debut with "King Lear" not so long ago. And now they are showing a new play. It's an absurd play by the Irish writer Samuel Beckett "Waiting for Godot".
