On the night of March 17-18, the enemy once again launched Shahed loitering munitions in the direction of Kyiv. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all aerial targets.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, 68 enterprises from the "hot spots" of Ukraine have been relocated to the capital region within the framework of the government program. Over the past six months, this number has increased fourfold. Some of the relocated businesses are already operating and developing.

In the Kyiv Oblast, during the occupation of the village of Zdvyzhivtsi, russian soldiers ate almost all the ostriches and threatened to kill the dogs. After the liberation of the village, it turned out that only a few birds survived.

On March 18, russians shelled the border community of Semenivka in the Chernihiv Oblast. The military reported 13 hits, probably from tube artillery. There were no casualties among personnel or losses of equipment.

This afternoon, russians carried out 7 strikes in the area of the village of Starykove of the Shalyhyne community in the Sumy Oblast. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.

Over the past day, the enemy fired S-300 rockets, artillery, mortars, and heavy machine guns at the border settlements of the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, and Bohodukhiv raions.

Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Dvorichna, Velykyi Burluk, Hrianykivka, Chervona Zoria and other settlements were under hostile fire.

In particular, yesterday the enemy launched two missile attacks on the village of Velykyi Burluk in the Kupiansk Raion. One of the missiles hit the yard of a residential building. At least 20 neighboring houses and outbuildings were damaged. The second missile hit the ground on the territory of the Velykyi Burluk district police station; it also damaged the fire-and-rescue unit, 6 private cars and neighboring residential buildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Mine clearance is ongoing. Over the past day, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service inspected almost 2.5 hectares of territory and neutralized 69 explosive devices.

Donetsk Oblast

On March 17, the russian troops bombarded the Donetsk Oblast 21 times with aircraft, Grad and Uragan MLRS, artillery, tanks, and mortars.

On March 17, the russians killed 1 resident of the Donetsk Oblast — in Ukrainsk. Three more people in the oblast were wounded.

Since the onset of russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the russian army has killed 1,415 civilians in the Donetsk Oblast and wounded another 3,221. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

At least 2 people were killed and 6 wounded in the shelling of Kramatorsk. The russians bombarded the city with cluster munitions, hitting Bernatsky Park and the ritual service building. According to preliminary information, a dozen residential houses and several cars were damaged.

The Kostiantynivka bakery bakes seven tons of bread a day, which is almost 12,000 loaves. Before the war, they produced 12 tons of bread. Half of it is intended for the military. The other half is delivered to the cities of the Donetsk, Luhansk, and, partially, Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.

In the Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Kamianka, Nevelske, Avdiivka, and Maryinka in the Donetsk Oblast.

Areas of a number of settlements were subjected to numerous hostile shelling attacks. Among them are Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maksymilianivka, Maryinka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

Russian troops conducted six air strikes on Avdiivka, as well as fired Grad MLRS, artillery and tanks, damaging three apartment buildings and a shop. The russian military bombarded Ukrainsk with Uragan multiple rocket launchers, hitting four apartment buildings.

The important cargo was sent to the front from the city of Pokrovsk. It was prepared by representatives of non-governmental organizations, scouts, volunteers, and other caring people. Everyone had their own definite task: buying materials, making trench candles, weaving camouflage nets, or knitting socks. The shipment also included food, hygiene products and other items that the defenders badly need.

Today, the village of New York came under fire from the russian invaders. The russians launched a rocket attack on the civilian population around one o'clock in the morning. Private and apartment buildings and the road were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

In Syrotyne, near Severodonetsk, the occupation authorities spread information about the infiltration of saboteurs and the work of partisans. This became the reason for intensified house-to-house searches of the population. In closed houses, instead of saboteurs, valuable things are found and taken away.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery strikes on the water area of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.

Also in the evening, enemy artillery shelling was recorded on the territory of the Kutsurub community. According to preliminary information, there were no damages or injuries.

In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.

Tonight, March 18, the russians once again attacked Zaporizhzhia with S-300 missiles. Shells hit the territory of the residential complex. A catering establishment was destroyed. The blast wave blew out windows and damaged roofs and facades in neighboring houses. There were no information about the victims.

Over the past day, russian troops shelled Kherson Oblast 50 times with heavy artillery and "Grad" multiple launch rocket systems, firing 237 shells. Kherson came under fire 3 times. Residential blocks, private and apartment buildings were hit. Three people were injured.

During the day of March 17, the russian army shelled the settlements of five communities in the Beryslav Raion. In particular, Tomaryne, Novooleksandrivka, Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Mylove, Kachkarivka, and Odradokamianka. One person was injured in Olhivka, and a man was injured by stepping on a landmine near Mala Seidemynukha.

On the field between Stanislav and Oleksandrivka, a "KAMAZ" truck of one of the farms was blown up by a russian mine. The driver was not injured.

Police officers exposed three residents of Kakhovka, who took positions in the occupation "education department". Law enforcement officers are also checking a resident of the Kakhovka Raion for involvement in the organization of a pseudo-referendum. Now the woman works in the so-called "department of social protection" of one of the communities.

A batch of humanitarian cargo from the Chernivtsi Oblast arrived in the Kherson Oblast. Medicines and products were divided between health care facilities, and a generator was handed over to one of the hospitals. In total, about 20 tons of humanitarian aid was received.

Maksym Kilderov, an artist from Nova Kakhovka, paints and sells cartridges and tubes. With the collected funds, he helps people who are under temporary occupation and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In three weeks, Maksym handed over more than 75,000 hryvnias worth of aid.

At night, the russian occupiers struck a critical infrastructure facility in the city of Novomoskovsk of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The destruction is significant. Four private houses were destroyed and six were damaged. Over the Dnipro, the Ukrainian military shot down three "Shahed-136" kamikaze drones.

Mayor of Dnipro Borys Filatov met the delegation of the Czech Republic. The Republic intends to build a strong partnership and establish a Consulate General for Dnipro. This cooperation will bring investments, technology, jobs and long-term strategic cooperation. The Czech diplomatic mission also visited the 118 Peremoha Street housing estate, which was hit by a russian X22 missile two months ago.

A long-term residence center for displaced persons and people who lost their homes due to russian aggression was opened in Dnipro. Accommodation is free, but utilities must be paid. The center can accommodate up to 56 people.

A children's space called "Together" was opened in the Dnipro Regional Center for Family Health. It is a safe and friendly place for children. Here, families who found themselves or may find themselves in difficult conditions due to the war had the opportunity to receive help and support from specialists. The project is being implemented by the Ukrainian Educational Platform in partnership with the GLOBA22 charitable foundation as part of the UNICEF program to support families with children affected by the war.

In the city of Zhovti Vody, the first safety class for schoolchildren in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast started working. Lessons in the safety class will be conducted by policemen, rescuers, doctors, explosives technicians, and teachers. Each of the specialists will teach children the rules of safe behavior in their own directions. A similar class was previously opened in Nikopol.

Investigators established the involvement of a resident of the Kirovohrad Oblast in the collection and transmission of data on military and critical infrastructure facilities in the two oblasts to the russian special services. Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine arrested the woman at the scene of the crime while photographing one of the enterprises of the defense industry.

During the year of the war, the Kirovohrad Oblast became a powerful humanitarian hub in the center of Ukraine. More than 30,000 immigrants settled in Kropyvnytskyi alone. First social hostels for internally displaced persons are being created here. Two of them have already sheltered one and a half hundred people. Soon, another one will be put into operation in the village of Hirnyche. Nearby, premises are also being prepared for the station of the community police officer. The work is already 70% completed.

Around 1 a.m. the Lviv Oblast was attacked by kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136 type. According to preliminary information, there were six of them. Three of them were shot down by air defense forces. Three more drones hit non-residential premises in the Yavoriv Raion. There are no casualties.

The communities of the Chernivtsi Oblast received 2.5 million hryvnias from the tourist tax, which is twice as much as the year before. Most of them came to Chernivtsi, Vyzhnytsia and Putyla communities, because there are cottages and hotels.

The "Chernivtsi" cinema is planned to be connected to the Mykolaichuk center . In this way, they want to preserve the cultural institution in the building. The cinema will be able to host cultural events and show films.

725 kg of garbage was collected from the bank of the Uzh River on the Pravoslavna Embankment in Uzhhorod during cleaning. The cleaning was timed for World Recycling Day, which is celebrated on March 18. About 20 people joined the action.
