Northern oblasts

Kyiv

The Unbroken Project installation was opened near the National Opera of Ukraine in Kyiv. It was created by the French photographer Felipe Jacome and the dancer of the Ukrainian National Ballet Svitlana Onipko. To create the installation, the artists printed an image of a Ukrainian ballerina who was forced to flee the war on an ultraviolet printer. The canvas for the work was made of spent shell casings bonded with resin.

Unbroken exhibitions with photos printed on the shell casings were presented in Paris and Madrid.


Kyiv Oblast

A memorial event "Bucha: Lacrimosa" dedicated to the memory of the fallen Heroes was held in the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called Apostle in Bucha.

Chernihiv Oblast

Last night, russians shelled the Semenivka community in the Chernihiv Oblast. Three hits, probably from 120 mm mortars, were recorded in the area of the settlement of Leonivka.

Sumy Oblast

Over the past day, russians shelled the Khotyn, Bilopillia, Yunakivka, and Esman communities in the Sumy Oblast. Households, business premises and power lines were damaged.

On the night of April 26, the russian military shelled the area of the town of Seredyna-Buda, the villages of Mykolaivka, Ulytsia, and Bachivsk. The enemy fired mortars and artillery. A total of 32 hits were recorded.

On the afternoon of April 26, 4 hits were recorded near the town of Seredyna-Buda, resulting probably from a helicopter strike. Two private houses were damaged.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Over the past day, the enemy shelled at least 17 border and frontline settlements in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Chuhuiv raions. In particular, Kupiansk, Udy, Veterynarne, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna and other settlements were under hostile fire.

According to the updated data, two women aged 54 and 57 were killed and 10 other people were wounded as a result of a missile attack on April 25 in Kupiansk. Of these, 4 were hospitalized, and 6 others had minor injuries and received medical treatment on the spot.

Mine clearance works are ongoing. Over the past day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service neutralized 138 explosive devices.


Donetsk Oblast

The russian army is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensives in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors. Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 39 attacks by the russian troops in these areas of the front. The fiercest fighting continues for Bakhmut and Maryinka.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the russians have killed 1,483 civilians in the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,436. The number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

On the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster, the cities of the Donetsk Oblast honored the memory of the victims and liquidators of the nuclear power plant accident.


Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

Heavy fighting continues for the city of Bakhmut. During the day, russian troops launched unsuccessful offensives in the direction of the settlements of Bohdanivka, Khromove, and Klishchiivka. 10 settlements suffered from enemy shelling.


Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

During April 25, the russian military shelled different neighborhoods of Kostiantynivka with artillery three times. There are no casualties or injuries. As a result of shelling, private houses and a garage were damaged, as well as the facades of two apartment buildings.

At night, the russian military launched a rocket attack on Druzhkivka, damaging a residential building and an administrative building where the police department was located. Three police officers who were on duty were injured. 

The russians shelled Kostiantynivka three times. Seven houses were damaged.

A house in Siversk was completely destroyed in the Lysychansk direction, and several others were partially damaged. Zvanivka and Pereizne were shelled during the day.


Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

Over the past day, eight buildings in Novohrodivka were damaged as a result of russian military shelling.

Marinka was constantly shelled during the night. Kurakhivka came under fire once. Also at night, the russians actively hit Avdiivka: four times with rockets and three times with artillery.

The Pokrovsk city military administration signed a memorandum on cooperation with the Ukrainian Helsinki Union for Human Rights. The document, in particular, provides assistance to community residents in solving legal issues.


Volnobvakha and Volnovakha Raion

In the Volnovakha direction, the enemy fired twice at Novoukrainka and twice at Prechystivka of the Vuhledar community.


Mariupol

Google maps has updated satellite images of Mariupol. The crimes of the russians can now be seen by everyone. In particular, the map reveals new sectors of mass burials at the Novotroitsky Cemetery (Left Bank Cemetery). The cemetery was closed until mid-July and was under the control of the occupiers. Also on the map you can see a bombed-out drama theater and houses mutilated and destroyed by the russians.

In occupied Mariupol, the russians painted a mural on the building of school No. 60 with young World War II pioneer Anatoly Balabukha and 14-year-old youth soldier Arsen Popov. The occupation authorities are returning the city to Soviet myths and trying to invent new fake "heroes" who fight against the fictional "Ukrainian Nazism". At the same time, the occupiers deliberately destroyed a number of murals created in Mariupol, Ukraine. In particular, the "Milana" mural, which was a symbol of the tragedy of war and the hope for peace and restoration. Also murals against violence and for equality and diversity.


Luhansk Oblast

Novoselivske, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka were hit by artillery shelling from the russians last time.

Southern oblasts

Mykolaiv oblast

Residents of the Zaporizhzhia Raion heard explosions today. Planned demolition works took place in this area.


Odessa Oblast

A woman who collaborated with the russians during the occupation of Kherson was detained in Odessa. She worked in a pension fund created by the russians. The official forced elderly people to receive pensions in russian currency. After the liberation of the city, she fled to Odessa, where she was detained.

The buildings of the russian consulate in Odesa can be confiscated. For this, the city council should apply to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a request to remove the buildings from the property of the russian federation. The appropriate decision must be made at a session of the Odesa City Council.

Doctors from the Odesa Oblast learned to work in a helicopter. They gained knowledge in the aeromedical evacuation service in Poland. The participants studied safety techniques in a helicopter, features of work, treatment and first aid.


Kherson Oblast

Over the past 24 hours, russian troops have struck the Kherson Oblast 75 times with heavy artillery, drones, and aircraft. Kherson was shelled 11 times. Residential blocks, church buildings and shops of the Bilozerka community were hit. One person is injured.

Today, the russian army shelled the Kherson oblast. As a result of an artillery strike on Stanislav, a 26-year-old local resident was injured. There was also a hit in the area of ​​the Antonivsky Bridge, a foreign journalist was wounded.

The law enforcement officers learned that in one of the villages of the Kakhovka Raion, russian soldiers shot a 38-year-old man for his pro-Ukrainian position.

Due to the massive artillery shelling and bombing by the russian troops of the village of Kizomys, the military administration decided to organize the evacuation of people.

During the day, sappers defused 79 explosive objects in the de-occupied settlements of the Kherson Oblast. They examined more than ten hectares of territory, almost eight kilometers of power lines and 800 meters of gas pipeline.

American science fiction writer Charlie Marino will present paintings from his own collection to the Kherson Regional Art Museum. He also called on other art connoisseurs to join his initiative.


Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

The russians attacked Nikopol and Marhanets from tube artillery. In Marhanets, a man was injured as a result of the shelling. He was admitted to the hospital. In Nikopol, a private house, 3 cars and a power line were cut by shrapnel.

The city of Nikopol purchased another jeep for the military using the city budget.

A new patriotic mural appeared in Dnipro. It depicts Taras Shevchenko, "tractor troops" of Ukraine, fields and Cossacks.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Serhii Lysak, together with his team and foresters, planted a new coniferous forest. More than 13 thousand seedlings were planted on the territory of two hectares. Common and Crimean pine seedlings were used for this.


Kirovohrad Oblast

2,785 doctors provide medical assistance to the population of the Kirovohrad Oblast. Among them, 224 medical workers are IDPs. During 2022-2023, 25 of them were provided with official housing.

In the Dobrovelychkivka community (the Novoukrainka Raion), a gardening project is being implemented. Thus, IDPs will be provided with work. They will grow ecologically clean vegetables. This became possible thanks to participation in grant programs from the International Agri-Food Network. For $17,000, the winners bought an irrigation system, dryers and other equipment.


Poltava Oblast

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, awarded the Poltava transporter Yurii Lupaienko with the badge "For the assistance of the army". The transporter and his team transferred 1 evacuation bus, 5 cars and 4 buses to military units. He also transported military personnel from the combat zone.

The socially responsible business of the Poltava Oblast handed over 100 high-range walkie-talkies and accessories to the defenders.

In the center of Poltava, an exhibition chronicling russian crimes against the media in Ukraine, which the occupiers committed since February 24, 2022, was opened. Information about Ukrainian and foreign journalists who were injured, kidnapped or tortured by the russians was collected at street stands.


Western Oblasts

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

More than 73,000 drivers from Ukraine have the right to import humanitarian aid from abroad by decision of oblast military administrations. 806 of them are from Prykarpattia region. They are included in the "Way" system, thanks to which they have the right to leave Ukraine.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the doctors of the city's clinical perinatal center have given birth to 215 mothers who were forced to move from other regions of Ukraine.

The Ivano-Frankivsk Museum of Local Lore opened an exhibition of paintings by Artur Novikov, a military officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, called "Native Colors 4.5.0". The paintings depict the architecture of peaceful cities, landscapes, pre-war Donetsk Oblast, military everyday life and portraits of comrades who died in battle. More than 70 works of the defender were brought by his mother.


Rivne Oblast

During the war, the Rivne Oblast provided shelter for more than 86,000 internally displaced persons. Almost 54,000 IDPs remained living in the Rivne Oblast. About 25,000 of them are women, and more than 15,000 are children.

In the Rivne Oblast, an evacuation reception center for IDPs is being created. The heads of the Rivne Oblast State Administration, the oblast council and four public organizations signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to help internally displaced persons. The first joint project will be the creation of an evacuation reception. It will be a single space where all the needs of the displaced people will be coordinated.

A car was purchased for a fellow villager-defender in Kurozvany, the Goshcha Raion. Local residents organized a collection and held charity fairs. In total, UAH 137,000 were collected. The purchased car was repaired, painted and handed over to the defender with amulets, drawings and products.


Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

The city government of Kamianets-Podilskyi signed a cooperation agreement with the city of Esslingen am Neckar. Its mayor Matthias Klopfer and international affairs specialist Katrin Radtke came to lay the foundation for further friendly relations, which is especially important in wartime conditions.

The regional coordinator of the AUI "Active Community" in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Slavko Poliatynchuk, together with the local volunteer headquarters, organized a charity concert. Funds from the event will go to the treatment of a wounded soldier.


Chernivtsi Oblast

Soldiers of the 92nd battalion of the 107th separate brigade of the Bukovyna Territorial Defense Forces were awarded medals "For the Liberation of the Kharkiv Oblast". Senior sergeant Yurii Hladchuk from the village of Ivanivtsi was awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine", junior sergeant Serhii Pryskar from Kelmentsi - the Honorary badge "Steel Cross".

The head of the Chernivtsi Oblast Military Administration presented awards to the parents of the fallen defenders. According to the decrees of the President of Ukraine, the police officers who died during the hostilities, Vladyslav Klischuk and Serhii Babii, were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage III degree.

The center of primary medical and sanitary care "Ray of Health'' of the Novoselytsia community handed over a cargo for seriously wounded Ukrainian soldiers who are in the Kramatorsk hospital. The institution from Bukovyna prepared medicines, orthoses, fixators and other medical items for transfer.

Internally displaced persons living in the Klishkivtsi community received food kits, drinking water, and hygiene products. The assistance came from the Chernivtsi Oblast Organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine.

The Chernivtsi Oblast Clinical Hospital received another donation from benefactors. The non-governmental organization "European Association of Local Self-Governments" handed over functional beds, mattresses, blankets and pillows, office and upholstered furniture, wheelchairs, medical devices and medicines to the institution.


Zakarpattia Oblast

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine Harsh Kumar Jain paid an introductory visit to the Zakarpattia Oblast. The Republic of India has repeatedly expressed support for Ukraine on international platforms, and also provided humanitarian aid: 12 humanitarian transfers contained medical equipment and care products.

The third strategic session within the "Create.Kraft.Travel" project took place the other day in Uzhhorod. The goal of the project is to promote the city as a tourist destination, create better conditions for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, support innovation, stimulate exports, etc. The project is implemented by the international technical assistance program "EU4Business: recovery, competitiveness and internationalization of SMEs" with co-financing by the European Union and the Federal Government of Germany.

The Program for the development of the Ukrainian language in all spheres of public life of the Uzhgorod city territorial community for 2023-2025 was supported today at a meeting of the executive committee. The document will be submitted for consideration at the session of the city council.
