Kyiv

Kyiv Oblast
More than 95% of the exclusion zone of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant may be mined. Experts are currently unable to inspect the Chornobyl NPP. On April 29, russians once again shelled the Semenivka and Novhorod-Siversk communities with mortars, tube artillery, and self-propelled artillery systems. More than 60 hits were recorded. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.
More than 40 russian shelling attacks were recorded by the military in the border communities of the Chernihiv Oblast at night and in the morning of April 30. The following settlements came under fire: Mykolaivka, Halahanivka, Leonivka, and Mykhalchyna Sloboda. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.
On April 29, President of Slovakia Zuzana Čaputová visited the Chernihiv Oblast. She came to see with her own eyes the consequences of active hostilities and promised to consider the possibility of allocating money for reconstruction. Together with the head of the Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration, she visited the village of Yahidne, where during the occupation in March last year, russians held more than 366 local residents hostage in the basement of the school. The President also visited the school in the village of Ivanivka, which was also under occupation in March. According to the head of Ivanivka village council, this community suffered the greatest destruction as a result of active hostilities in the Chernihiv Oblast. Zuzana Čaputová visited the territory of the cardiology clinic in Chernihiv, which was as a result of the russian aerial bombardment on March 3, 2022. She also visited the modular town in the village of Novoselivka, which was on the line of fire when the russians tried to enter the oblast center.

Sumy Oblast
On April 29, the russian military shelled an industrial enterprise in the Shostka Raion on the outskirts of the village of Svesa in the Sumy Oblast. One of the workshops was hit, and several residential buildings in the village were damaged, with the blast wave smashing out their windows. No one was injured.

In total, more than 170 explosions were recorded on April 29. The occupants shelled the Seredyna-Buda, Esman, Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Myropillia, and Yunakivka communities. In Seredyna-Buda, an apartment in an apartment building was damaged. Nine houses were damaged in Yunakivka, and three in the village of Studenok of the Esman community.
At night and in the morning of April 30, the russian military fired 9 times at the border communities of the Sumy Oblast. 57 explosions were recorded. Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Yesterday, the enemy continued to bombard the settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk raions of the oblast.
In particular, Kupiansk, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Chervona Zoria, Dvorichna, Lyman Pershyi and other towns and villages were under enemy fire.
This morning, the russian occupiers shelled the center of Kupiansk with multiple rocket launchers. A private house and garages were damaged, and fires broke out. Four cars were destroyed. There were no casualties.

Demining of de-occupied territories continues in the Oblast. Over the past day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service inspected almost 11 hectares of territory and neutralized 123 explosive objects.
Donetsk Oblast
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. 58 enemy attacks were repelled during the past day. Bakhmut and Marinka are at the epicenter of hostilities.
During the day, the occupiers struck 18 attacks on 77 residential buildings of the residents of the Donetsk Oblast and on the boarding house building. Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Sviatohirsk, Velyka Novosilka and Malotaranivka, Karlivka and Zoriane came under fire from aviation, S-300, Grad and Uragan MLRS, artillery and UAVs.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
Around midnight on April 30, the russians fired five rockets at Kramatorsk. There were no casualties: two rockets fell in a field outside the city, two hit an industrial zone and one hit the private sector near a residential building, but damaged only the asphalt surface.

On the evening of April 29 and the night of April 30, the russian military shelled Kostiantynivka. There are no casualties or injuries. The Santurynivka district came under artillery fire. Ten houses were damaged. As a result of the rocket attack, the infrastructure object, six cars and two trailers were damaged.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
In the east of the Pokrovsk Raion, the russians shelled Avdiivka five times. They hit the residential sector, the territory of the Avdiivka Coke Chemical Plant, and the bus depot.
In the Avdiivka Raion, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the area of the Avdiivka and Pervomaiske settlements of the Donetsk Oblast. It had no success. They fired at Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Vodiane and Pervomaiske.
In the Marinka direction, enemy attacks were repulsed in the areas of Marinka and Novomykhailivka. In addition, Krasnohorivka, Pobieda and Paraskoviivka were subjected to enemy shelling.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions. Fighting continues in the city of Bakhmut. In addition, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Ivanivske and Predtechyne. Vasiukivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Kostiantynivka, Bila Hora, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Dyliivka, Pivnichne, Toretsk, Shumy, Pivdenne and New York of the Donetsk Oblast were affected by enemy shelling.
Luhansk Oblast
In the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk Oblast, the russians organized medical examinations for children, after which they were declared sick and forcibly deported to the russian federation. In 70 percent of the children, the occupiers find alleged chronic diseases.
Southern oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
Yesterday, the enemy carried out artillery strikes on the water area of the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.
In Mykolaiv, the Pervomaisk, Bashtanska and Voznesensk raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
During the past day, April 29, the russian military shelled 19 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. In particular, they carried out an air strike, attacked with UAVs and MLRS, and used artillery 60 times. Six reports were received about the destruction of houses (apartments) of citizens and infrastructure objects as a result of shelling by russian military personnel.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the situation has not undergone significant changes over the past day. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied borders.
Kherson Oblast
During the day of April 29, the russian army struck the Kherson community four times. At night, it attacked the center of Kherson. Korabelny microdistrict in Kherson, Antonivka, Prydniprovske and summer cottages were also under fire. There are no casualties or injuries.
As a result of russian shelling of Kherson on the night of April 30, two fires broke out. The premises of the cafe and one apartment in the apartment building were on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire.
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Oblast, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 12 russian military personnel and destroyed 14 units of russian equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles and 4 artillery installations.
In Kherson, a collection of works by local residents "Kherson Oblast. Artsprotyv" was presented. This is a joint event of the writing and music campaign "Poetic Cabinet" and the art project "LitTERRA bez mezh" ["LitTERRA without borders"]. The book includes the lyrics of 54 authors. These are professionals and beginners who wrote poems after February 24, 2022.
Skadovsk

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Units of the russian armed forces shelled Nikopol. As a result of the hits, 7 private houses, 7 farm buildings and a greenhouse were destroyed, 2 cars and a power supply line were damaged. The Chervonohryhorivka community was also shelled.

Soldiers of the 25th Separate Assault Sicheslav Brigade from the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast destroyed two russian infantry fighting vehicles BMP-2.
The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, and the Mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov, visited the high-rise building destroyed by a russian missile in the Peremoha residential area. Petr Pavel met with Borys Filatov to discuss the nearest prospects for cooperation. The Czech Republic took patronage over the city of Dnipro and the oblast. A delegation from the Czech Republic also visited the Dnipro History Museum.

Specialists of the pyrotechnic work group of the special emergency and rescue unit of the State Emergency Service in the Kirovohrad Oblast carried out work on the removal and destruction of an 82 mm mortar mine from the Second World War, discovered near the village of Pervozvanivka in the Kropyvnytskyi Raion.
Western Oblasts
Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
A peaceful rally was held in support of the captured fighters of the Regiment "Azov" on Vichevyi Maidan in Ivano-Frankivsk. About 50 people came to the event. Among them are relatives and acquaintances of "Azov" fighters who are still in captivity.

On April 30, 2023, a commemorative plaque was unveiled on the facade of the lyceum in the village of Rosilna, the Ivano-Frankivsk Raion. It is dedicated to the fallen commander of one of the divisions of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade "Edelweiss", Pavel Vasyliv.

Zakarpattia Oblast
Zakarpattia border guards were presented with awards on the occasion of the Border Guard Day of Ukraine. Two servicemen, captain Ivan Kotsur and senior soldier Pavlo Hryb, were awarded a joint award of the oblast council and the oblast state administration - the badge "For the development of the Zakarpattia Oblast".
The non-profit organization "Hungarian-American Coalition" will donate $5,000 to the NGO "Society of Hungarian Culture in Zakarpattia" (KMKSZ) to support the health care of local residents.
The Zakarpattia Academy of Culture and Arts concluded an agreement with the North University Center of Baia Mare (Romania). According to the rector of the academy, the document opens up new ways and opportunities for cooperation. This is the beginning of joint projects and programs in the academic spheres of the two border regions.
