Northern oblasts
Kyiv
On the night of May 13, russia attacked Kyiv with attack drones, and all targets in the sky over the capital were shot down. A residential building was damaged in the territory of the oblast as a result of the fall of drone debris.
Relatives of the fallen soldiers gathered at the Wall of Remembrance on Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv for a prayer service. Afterward, they went to the Presidential Office to deliver an appeal to resolve the problem with payments.

The water level in Kyiv rose by 4 cm. No emergency flooding has been reported so far.
Kyiv Oblast
Russian occupiers attacked the oblast with drones. The nighttime air raid alert lasted more than two hours. Air defense was actively working. There were no hits or casualties. A private house and an outbuilding were damaged by falling debris in one of the communities.
In Irpin, the houses that were damaged by russian troops were demolished. A part of the wall of the house with graffiti by the English street artist Banksy was cut out. It weighs 7.5 tons. It is planned that this work will become the first exhibit at the Contemporary Art Square.

A new modular town for those who lost their homes was opened in Irpin. The event took place with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland Jaakko Lehtovirta, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Infrastructure Natalia Kozlovska, and the head of the Irpin community. The modular town consists of 12 houses with 3 apartments each. It is designed for 144 people. All works were performed by the Ukrainian side, and the partners from Finland provided the houses themselves.
Zhytomyr Oblast
More than 50 residents of the Donetsk Oblast arrived in the Zhytomyr Oblast by another evacuation train, among them 19 children. Elderly people with limited mobility were transported to the Berdychiv geriatric nursing home. The rest were taken by bus to the Semenivka and Chervone communities of the Berdychiv Raion, where they will be accommodated in temporary housing.
In the village of Toporyshche, Khoroshiv community, Zhytomyr Oblast, a bridge repaired after shelling by russian troops was opened for traffic.
Chernihiv Oblast
On the night of May 13, servicemen of the 105th Border Guard Detachment shot down a russian drone in the sky over the Chernihiv Oblast. They opened fire on it with small arms. The "Shahed" drone exploded and crashed in a field not reaching its intended target.

On the morning of May 13, russian troops shelled two communities in the border areas of the Chernihiv Oblast. The Snovsk and Semenivka communities came under fire.
The police evacuated two children from the border village of Buda-Vorobyivska in the Novhorod-Siversk Raion: 6-year-old Kira and 5-year-old David, along with their grandfather. He is their legal guardian. The children's mother died several years ago in a road accident, and their father was deprived of parental rights. Now the children will live in Ichnia.
Sumy Oblast
At night and in the morning of May 13, the russian military shelled the settlements of Velyka Pysarivka, Bilopillia, and Krasnopillia communities in the Sumy Oblast. 87 explosions were recorded.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
In the Kupiansk sector, russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of Masiutivka. At least 19 settlements of the Kharkiv Oblast came under invaders’ fire.
Today, russian occupiers shelled the villages of Khatnie and Ohirtseve. The military recorded 22 hits. At least four houses were damaged. The enemy fired from artillery. One of the women was wounded and hospitalized in moderate condition. The other three sustained contusions.
The SBU served a notice of suspicion to a russian military officer who, according to the investigation, ordered to take detained Ukrainians to the torture chamber in Balaklia and personally abused them.
Donetsk Oblast
Yesterday, russians wounded 4 residents of the Donetsk Oblast: 2 in Druzhkivka, 1 in Kostiantynivka, and 1 in Heorhiivka.
Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,502 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,504. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
At night, the russian military launched a missile attack on Kramatorsk. No one was wounded or killed. One apartment building, 45 private houses, a gas station, healthcare facilities, a trolleybus catenary network, a road surface, and a heating main were damaged.
On May 12, the russian military fired four times from artillery and Smerch MLRS at the Kostiantynivka community. The Kostiantynivka, Mykolaivkaб and Markivka starosta districts came under fire. One person was wounded, and more than 30 private houses, two high-rise buildings, two shops, gas pipelines, power grid, road surface, and warehouses were damaged.
On May 13, the russian military shelled Kostiantynivka with Smerch multiple rocket launchers. Two residents were killed, including a 15-year-old girl and a 63-year-old man, and ten other people sustained injuries of varying severity, including two teenagers aged 15 and 16.

In the Lysychansk sector, one house was destroyed in Yampil and another house was damaged in Zarichne of the Lyman community.
In Kramatorsk, residents of Yasnohirka and Sofiivka receive materials to repair the damage caused by russian missile strikes.
The Active Community team in Kramatorsk continues to conduct art therapy classes for children. In addition, the activists provided humanitarian aid to a large family - they donated a crib for a baby.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
In the east of the Pokrovsk Raion, in the Kurakhove community, a 4-story building in Kurakhove was damaged. The settlements of Kurakhivka and Hirnyk came under fire. Shelling of Mariinka and Maksymilianivka was also recorded.
In Kurakhove, about 1.5 thousand homes were cut off due to shelling by the russian army. At night, the russian military hit a four-story building, the territory of the central avenue, and a gas station. The networks of centralized heating supply, power grids and the sewage collector were damaged.

A resident of Novohrodivka was sentenced to 5 years for passing information on the movement and location of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of Novohrodivka and the town of Selydove (the Pokrovsk Raion) to an acquaintance who lives in the quasi "Donetsk people's republic". In six months, she sent 12 such messages.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian military advanced up to 300 meters in some areas. Meanwhile, leaflets about the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being distributed to Wagner Group mercenaries.

Mykolaiv Oblast

According to preliminary information, russian troops used Iranian-made "Shahed-136/131" attack drones to hit Mykolaiv.

On May 12, russian troops attacked the Ochakiv community in the Mykolaiv Oblast. The invaders shelled the water area. There were no casualties.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
An explosion rang out in the temporarily occupied Melitopol in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. In the surrounding villages, in the eastern and northern districts of the city, electricity, water supply and communications were cut off. Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said that the explosion occurred at a substation in the eastern part of the city and was only a simulation to secretly transport military equipment.
During the past day, May 12, the russian military shelled 20 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. In particular, the russians carried out two airstrikes, twice attacked with multiple launch rocket systems and drones, and used artillery 80 times.
The russian army attacked Huliaipole. About 15 hits were recorded. So far, it is known about one man who was injured as a result of the shelling.
Kherson Oblast
Yesterday, the russian army carried out an airstrike on Kizomys. The settlements of the Kherson Oblast, located next to the front line, were shelled with various types of weapons. In particular, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Sadove, Antonivka and Kherson came under fire.
During May 12, the russian military attacked the Kherson Oblast 88 times with various types of weapons. Kherson was shelled 15 times. Shells hit residential quarters, an educational institution in Kherson, and the village council building in Bilozerka community. Two people died, and four were injured.
Yesterday, the russian army attacked Beryslav with aerial bombs. As a result of shelling, the city and surrounding settlements lost electricity. Civil infrastructure objects, residential buildings and farm buildings were damaged. In total, during the past 24 hours, russian troops attacked six communities of the Beryslav Raion. One person was injured.

The russian military probably dropped explosives from a drone on Chornobaivka. Two men aged 67 and 63 were slightly injured.
32,000 hectares of agricultural land were demined in the Kherson Oblast. Farmers are trying to sow on this territory.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
In the afternoon of May 13, russian troops shelled Nikopol with heavy artillery. A 57-year-old man was injured. In serious condition, he was hospitalized for resuscitation. In the city, two high-rise buildings, five private houses, several farm buildings, a garage, a minibus and two power lines were damaged.
Cherkasy Oblast
The warrior from Zolotonosha received an award from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Valerii Zaluzhnyi signed the documents regarding the awarding of the "Golden Cross" honorary badge to defender Vadym Andrushchenko. From now on, Cherkasy has another twin city. The mayor signed a twinning agreement with the German city of Bielefeld. This document opens up new opportunities for strengthening friendly relations between cities. One of the most important issues, on which an agreement has already been reached, is the treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian defenders in the best clinics in Bielefeld.

In addition, the accused robbed the houses of residents and commercial establishments in the village of Severynivka, the Bucha Raion.
The Child Development Center "Doshkilniatko" ["Preschooler"] will hold a charity fair in the center of Kropyvnytskyi. The collected funds will be transferred to the needs of the Ukrainian army. This is not the first action in support of the military, earlier this year "Doshkilniatko" collected 22,000 hryvnias, which were donated to buy walkie-talkies for the 39th brigade.
Poltava Oblast

It has been modernized inside and out, equipped with lighting and alarm systems, with USB chargers, changing tables and areas for cyclists. This is the second electric train of this type that the Poltava Oblast received this year. In total, four of them are expected in the region.
Western Oblasts
Lviv Oblast
There was a threat of attack by enemy kamikaze drones in the Lviv Oblast. Air defense worked effectively.
The "Zvytiaha" center for military-patriotic education, sports training and self-defense has opened in Lviv. It is designed for schoolchildren. The center was created as a transformer room. There is a medical section, simulators, training weapons and targets, an electronic shooting range and a lecture hall. Tourist equipment was also prepared for the children for field training.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Chernivtsi Oblast

In Bukovyna, the institutions where the internally displaced people live received another aid from the International Organization for Migration. In particular, 21 electric and 1 gas stove, 90 kettles and 25 hair dryers were distributed. The aid was given to social institutions of the Khotyn, Kadubivtsi and Kostryzhivka communities.
In the Chernivtsi Oblast, the "Rokada" charitable foundation provides assistance in the transportation of internally displaced persons. Volunteers help to get to social security institutions, hospitals or banks free of charge.
