Despite the losses, the occupiers, in terms of personnel and equipment, with the support of aircraft, focused their efforts on trying to encircle the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Mykolayiv and access to the administrative borders of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, creating a land corridor with the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Having not achieved the goal of capturing the capital of Ukraine, during the first days of the war, the occupiers focused on active actions in the southern regions, in order to deprive Ukraine of access to the Black and Azov Seas.

Currently, the most dangerous destinations remain: Zhytomyr highway, Bucha-Irpin-Gostomel, Makarov and the north of Vyshgorod district.
The humanitarian situation in Kyiv region is difficult. According to an adviser to the Head of the President's Office, the occupiers have launched repressions against the civilian population in the west of Kyiv region.

The occupiers also hit a store near which there was a queue of people. The death toll is unknown at this time.
In the convoy of russian equipment, defeated near Kharkiv, there were vehicles of the russian Guard, loaded with equipment, shields, batons. Apparently, russia was confident that it would quickly seize Kharkiv and use equipment against the protesters.
The russians are trying to capture the city of Izyum. The invaders fired at the city from artillery systems almost all night, and also carried out several air raids. Rockets and bombs also hit the central areas of Izyum.
