Northern Oblast

Kyiv

The President of Zambia Hakaindi Hichilema, President of Senegal Macy Sall, President of the Comoros Islands Azali Assoumani, who currently heads the African Union, Prime Minister of Egypt Mustafa Madbuli, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uganda Jeje Odongo also arrived in Ukraine today.

Kyiv Oblast

Today, in Vyshgorod raion, explosive devices were liquidated.

In the afternoon of June 16, the russians launched an attack on Kyiv Oblast. Private houses were damaged in one of the districts of Kyiv Oblast. An 82-year-old woman was injured. The driver of the car who was driving along the highway was also injured.

Sumy Oblast

During the day of June 15, the russian army fired 21 times on the border areas of Sumy Oblast: Krasnopillya, Bilopillya, Hlukhiv, Esman, Svesk and Seredino-Buda communities.

In Hlukhiv, three children were injured, one child was hospitalized. In the Seredyno-Buda community, the roof of the enterprise building caught fire.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy continued shelling the border and front-line settlements of the Kharkiv, Kupyansk and Chuguyiv raions of the region.

In particular, enemy shelling was recorded in the areas of settlements: Veterinarne, Staritsa, Ohirtseve, Gatishche, Bochkove, Budarky, Novomlynsk, Masyutivka, Zapadne, Liman Pershiy, Kislivka and others.

In the village of Liptsi, Kharkiv raion, windows of a residential building and 2 outbuildings were damaged as a result of mortar shelling.

As a result of the shelling of the city of Kupyansk, 2 residential buildings, a railway station and an economic building were damaged, and a fire broke out.

During the day, there were no casualties among the civilian population of Kharkiv Oblast.

Demining of the area continues. During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service inspected more than 12 hectares of territory and neutralized 216 explosive objects.

Donetsk Oblast

Over the past day, the occupiers struck 13 towns and villages in the Donetsk Oblast. A total of 17 attacks were recorded. The cultural center, agricultural machinery, administrative buildings and private houses were damaged.

On June 15, in the Donetsk Oblast, 10 residents of Donetsk Oblast were injured by shelling from the russia, there were no fatalities.

Since the day of russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the invader's weapons have killed 1,562 civilians of Donetsk Oblast and injured another 3,702. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko visited Donetsk near the front line. He awarded 30 fighters of the "Azov" brigade with departmental decorations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for bravery in the service. Senior Sergeant Bohdan "Vog" Tsymbal was awarded a Glock 19X pistol for exemplary performance of military and service duties.

In the Donetsk Oblast, 6,663 students graduated from the 11th grade, and more than 10,000 students graduated from the 9th grade this year. This academic year, there are 587 medal winners in the schools of the region.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

Residents of Kostyantynivka came under fire from the russian military last day. 4 houses were damaged.

In the Lysychansk direction, the enemy shelled the Lyman community 7 times, 1 house in Siversk was destroyed.

Volunteers from Chernihiv brought humanitarian aid to Slovyansk: food, medicine for the soldiers defending Donetsk Oblast. Volunteers from Chernihiv have been helping military personnel serving in Donetsk Oblast since 2014. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, various cargoes have been brought in more than 15 times, both for the military and for local residents.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

Krasnohorivka, Katerynivka and Elizavetivka of the Maryinka community were under fire in the east of the Pokrovsk raion. On June 15, the russians injured 2 people in Avdiyivka.

Fighters of the Pokrovsk Battalion of the 109th Territorial Defense Brigade destroyed enemy positions with kamikaze drones. The machine-gun calculation and shelter of the russians came under attack. 

American businessman and philanthropist Howard Buffett, the son of billionaire investor Warren Buffett, arrived in Avdiyivka and communities of Donetsk Oblast. He communicated with the military and local people, assessed the humanitarian situation in the city.

The «Prolisok» humanitarian mission delivered kits for emergency housing repairs from UNHCR Ukraine - the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine and issued building kits to the residents of the affected houses to the residents of the Kurakhove starosta`s district of the Pokrovsk raion.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

As a result of shelling by the russian military, 5 people were wounded, 8 houses, a cultural institution, an administrative building and an infrastructure object were damaged in the Northern Toretsk community. Another administrative building was destroyed in New York.

Vasyukivka and Rozdolivka came under fire in the Soledar community.

In the area of ​​the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast, operators of one of the units of the Special Operations Forces, in cooperation with HIMARS, destroyed two radar complexes of the russian military. Also, almost all the soldiers who were near the REB were killed.

Mykolayiv Oblast

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the past day, June 15, the russian military shelled 14 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. A 55-year-old resident of Orikhiv was injured as a result of the shelling.

In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, the russians turn on the sirens «when convenient». However, the russian military closed all the warehouses and basements of apartment buildings.

In russia, the central election commission has scheduled the so-called «elections» in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine for September 10. We are talking about the parts of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts captured by the russians, as well as the self-proclaimed «DPR» and «LPR».

IAEA Director General Grossi said after the visit to the Zaporizhzhia NPP that the agency will monitor how the water reserves in the cooling pond will be replenished at the power plant, which is necessary for the further safe operation of the ZNPP.

As a result of russian troops undermining the Kakhovka HPP, water supply problems began in the communities of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, which are connected to the Kakhovka Reservoir. Among them is the Kushugum community.

Odesa Oblast

The Security Service of Ukraine reported the suspicion to two people from Odesa, who, on the order of russian television, filmed staged videos about the mobilization and the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. One of the suspects is a former operator of Odesa State Television, who started cooperating with the russian TV channel ren-TV. Another actively called for support for the occupiers and justified their war crimes on his social networks. Both perpetrators face up to twelve years in prison with confiscation of property.

The mayor of Odesa signed an order on the provision of material assistance to citizens whose homes were damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine on the territory of the city of Odesa.

The city authorities, in cooperation with public organizations, provided kits for closing broken windows to Odesa residents. 18 units of equipment were involved, 460 cubic meters of garbage and debris were removed. The trolleybus contact network has been restored. 14 emergency trees were removed. The work of closing broken windows with a protective film has been established by city services.

Kherson Oblast

During June 15, the russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 54 times. It fired 37 shells over Kherson. Two people died, two others were injured.

On the night of June 16, the russian military shelled a village in the Beryslav raion. The projectile hit a residential building. A woman died at the scene, her husband died on the way to the hospital.

Antonivka also came under fire at night. In total, during the day, the russian military attacked the Kherson community 18 times. Damage was recorded in Kherson, Zelenivka, Zymivnyk, Molodizhne and Komyshany. There are no casualties or injuries.

This afternoon, the russian army shelled Kherson. It became known about 23 wounded. A high-rise building, the administration building of a medical facility and school, cars and power lines were damaged. 

After lunch, russian troops hit a residential quarter in Bilozerka, Kherson Oblast. Ruined house. There are no casualties or injuries.

As of 8 a.m. in the Kherson Oblast, the water level was at the level of 1.67 m. 1,649 houses in 17 settlements on the right bank remain flooded. 17 settlements were flooded in the temporarily occupied territories.

In the Oleshky community, as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP, the water almost completely went away. In populated areas, the humanitarian situation is difficult, many houses have been destroyed, and the water in the wells is contaminated. It is officially known that there are 11 dead people. The exact number of victims and consequences cannot be established due to the occupation.

Residents of Chornobayivka receive evacuees from Kherson and people from other raions of the Oblast who were affected by the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP. And they are also overcoming the consequences of flooding themselves - currently 33 houses are damaged in the village.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of June 16, russian troops shelled the Marhanets community in Nikopol Raion with heavy artillery. No one was killed or injured. The consequences of the attack are being investigated.

15 million hryvnias were allocated from the regional budget for the needs of the victims of the missile attack in Kryvyi Rih. This money is for those who lost their homes and whose houses were damaged. People will start receiving the first financial aid on June 16.

A unit of the Bakhmut Intensive Care Hospital has started receiving patients in Dnipro. Here, specialized doctors provide secondary medical care to all residents of the Bakhmut community.

The Kreminna Humanitarian Hub in Dnipro is setting up a library for adults and children. Everyone is invited to join and bring fiction and periodicals for adults and children.

Kirovohrad Oblast

Kirovohrad Oblast has sheltered almost a hundred IDPs from the flooded areas of Kherson Oblast. People came by their own transport and were accommodated in 15 communities. Social service workers are helping them receive payments and benefits.

More than 20 Kropyvnytskyi utility workers are working in Kherson Oblast. They are helping to eliminate the consequences of flooding by clearing the area of debris and silt. At the same time, they are restoring power grids. Kirovohrad Oblast is also helping Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. For example, 2 tanker trucks were delivered to Nikopol to supply drinking water to the locals.

Western Oblasts

Rivne Oblast

In Rivne, the SBU exposed a collaborator who publicly glorified russia and supported its actions. The offender is a native of Donetsk Oblast, but has been living in Rivne for a long time. Based on the collected evidence, the man was found guilty.

Rivne Oblast sent another batch of humanitarian aid to residents of flooded areas of Kherson Oblast. It includes long-term storage products, drinking water, medicines and medical supplies, as well as a batch of rubber boots, etc.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

In January of this year, the city council decided to introduce a municipal benefit to help businesses in difficult times by reducing the tax on non-residential real estate. As of today, 158 out of 277 legal entities have taken advantage of the benefit. In this way, the city council helped entrepreneurs to work, develop their businesses, and support the economy. And they paid more than UAH 3 million in tax debt to the local budget.

Kamianets-Podilskyi hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Creative Potential of the Cultural Economy in the Postwar Recovery of Ukraine". Its participants shared their practical experience in organizing international festivals during a pandemic and during the war.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Ruslan Zaparaniuk, Head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, met with Kaimo Kuusk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine. In particular, they discussed assistance to internally displaced persons and future joint projects.

Since the beginning of 2023, 81 applicants in Bukovyna have received a positive decision to receive a microgrant under the government's eRobota program. 13 of them will start their businesses, while the rest will expand their businesses and purchase new equipment. UAH 19.5 million will be used for these purposes. It is planned to create 152 new jobs in the region as part of the government's eRobot program "Own Business".

Volunteers of the Kelmenets community repair vehicles for the military and return them to the frontline, filling them with ammunition, food and medicine.

In Chernivtsi, volunteers Valeriy and Andriy have painted more than a hundred buses, jeeps, and pickup trucks for the military over the past year. This helps the soldiers to disguise themselves in their positions.

Bukovinians delivered another batch of humanitarian aid to Kherson. In particular, 20 tons of water and 20 tons of various humanitarian aid: medicines, food and personal care products.

Zakarpattia Oblast

Every third resident of Zakarpattia donates blood. About 3,000 people in Zakarpattia are honorary donors, as they have donated blood more than forty times. There are seven blood banks in Zakarpattia.

Public environmental inspectors of the State Ecological Inspectorate in Zakarpattia Oblast sent the necessary scientific samples (reagents) to their environmental colleagues in Kherson Oblast. This assistance will enable them to speed up the process of sampling in the face of a man-made disaster.

At the "Owl's Nest" Humanitarian Aid Center this week, volunteers delivered more than 200 packages with children's clothes, hygiene products and food to IDPs registered in Uzhhorod. Also, during the week, people could get clothes, bed linen and dishes.
