Kyiv Oblast

Chernihiv Oblast

Mykolaiv, Khotyn, Krasnopillya, Bilopillya, Yunakive, Shalygine, Druzhbivka, Esman , Seredino-Buda, Znob-Novgorod, Hlukhiv, Nova Sloboda and Velikopysarivka communities came under fire. A private house, a power line, two cars, and a non-residential premises were damaged in the Shalygine community.

During the night and morning of June 17, the russian military carried out 10 shellings on the border of Sumy Oblast, 40 explosions were recorded.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

On June 17, the russians shelled the village of Gur'iv Kozachok, located in the Bogodukhiv community of the Kharkiv Oblast. An anti-tank guided missile of the russians hit a civilian car that was moving in the direction of the settlement. There were 4 people in the car who died on the spot. Details are set.

During the past day, the enemy fired artillery and mortars at the border and front-line settlements of the Kupyansk, Kharkiv and Chuguyiv raions of the region.

Last night in the village of Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv raion, a private house and farm buildings were damaged by shelling.

A 36-year-old civilian man was wounded in the village of Dvorichna in the Kupyansk raion as a result of russian shelling.

Donetsk Oblast

In total, since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,563 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, wounded another 3,702 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Since June 17, about 320 children from 24 territorial communities of Donetsk Oblast have arrived at the "Pearl of Donetsk Oblast" recreation complex, which was relocated from Sviatohirsk to Mukachevo raion of Zakarpattia Oblast.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the past day, June 16, the russian military shelled 20 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast: three times they attacked with UAVs, 16 times with anti-aircraft missiles, and 78 times they used artillery.

Defense forces of Ukraine continue to both advance and defend, and have partial success on the eastern front. In the Berdyansk and Mariupol directions, the russian military is withdrawing troops from other directions and increasing firepower. In addition, Ukrainian troops are faced with continuous mining of fields.

In the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, two wetlands of international importance were completely silted up due to the russian military's detonation of the Kakhovka HPP: “Velyki ta mali Kuchugury Archipelago” and “Sim Mayakiv Floodplain”. The shallowing of the water area in the Velykyi Lug National Park continues.

Odesa Oblast

Kherson Oblast

During June 16, the russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 75 times, firing 44 shells at Kherson. Educational, administrative and trade buildings in the city were damaged. Two people died, 25 were injured.

A 36-year-old man was blown up by a russian mine in the village of Borozenske, Beryslav raion, while performing field work. He received burns on 20% of his body. The wounded man was taken to the burn department in Kryvyi Rih.

This afternoon, the russian aviation attacked Kozatske in the Kherson Oblast, releasing two guided aerial bombs. The consequences are being clarified.

During the day, the defense forces in the Kherson Oblast destroyed three large-caliber guns, 17 units of armored vehicles and two attack drones of the «Lancet» type, with which the russian army tried to attack the right bank of the Kherson Oblast.

Today, 28 settlements remain flooded in the Kherson Oblast: 11 on the right bank, 17 on the left.

Today, Kherson rescuers received four «Bogun-2» all-terrain vehicles. This transport moves on water and over difficult terrain and is equipped with everything necessary for rescuing people. They were purchased at the expense of donors and partners as part of the «Let's Help Rescuers» collection.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Dnipro mayor Borys Filatov personally delivered another batch of equipment to the soldiers of the 3rd separate assault brigade, which is currently in Donetsk Oblast. This includes a number of pickup trucks, ambulances, and trucks, as well as a dozen drones, thermal imagers , and other devices that the city council's specialists used to upgrade some of the guns.

One of the region's industrial enterprises, together with a Kryvyi Rih football club, purchased 8 jeeps for the military and sent them to the front.

The regional administration purchased drinking water tanks for UAH 7.4 million. They were delivered to the communities affected by the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by the russians and the shallowing of the Kakhovka reservoir. Additionally, benefactors from the Czech Republic donated 9 5 cubic meter water tanks to Nikopol.

Medical workers in the oblast received 9 ambulances from the city of Wroclaw. The vehicles are humanitarian aid from the Lower Silesian Voivodeship of Poland.

A mural dedicated to musician, TV presenter, and leader of the band "Skryabin" Andriy Kuzmenko was created in the center of Dnipro.

About 30 young residents of Dnipro took part in a patriotic action: they painted gingerbread for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A simulation game on the development of volunteering was held in Dnipro. The event brought together more than 50 people: volunteers, teachers, students, government and business representatives. The event was organized by Dmytro Chernyshov, coordinator of the All-Ukrainian Initiative "Active Community" in Dnipro. The event was moderated by Oleksandra Hlizhynska, Executive Director of the Institute "Respublica", and Oleksandr Pozniy, Head of the Active Group. Such events help citizens to better understand the role and potential of volunteering and make the problems faced by volunteers clearer to them.

Kirovohrad Oblast

Soldiers of the 3rd separate regiment of Special Forces named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave conducted tactical and special training exercises to practice elements of combat in urban areas.

Poltava Oblast

Severely injured soldiers will be able to undergo rehabilitation in hospitals in Poltava Oblast for up to six months. This includes military and civilians with spinal cord injuries, amputations, or severe traumatic brain injuries. The rehabilitation costs will be covered by the National Health Service of Ukraine.

In just two days of the festival in Poltava, residents raised UAH 275 thousand for the Armed Forces. This amount covered the cost of 2 night vision devices for the 116th separate terrorist defense brigade.

Poltava region received kits from UNICEF for schools and kindergartens. The educational institutions will receive 2,000 backpacks and 200 sports kits for primary school students, as well as 200 "School in a Box" boxes and 300 backpacks for teachers. The kits for children are filled with various stationery, while the backpacks for teachers contain a power bank, headphones, flashlight, hard drive and T-shirt. Each sports kit contains equipment for various sports.

Western Oblasts

Chernivtsi Oblast

Housing for internally displaced persons was opened in the Novoselytsia community. In particular, the house was redesigned, and heating, sewerage, water and electricity supply were updated. About 50 IDPs from the community's municipal institutions will live here. The repair work was funded by the city budget, the International Organization for Migration and charitable foundations.

A 24-year-old resident of Chernivtsi is suspected of selling humanitarian aid. He allegedly sold medical clothing that he had imported into Ukraine under the guise of humanitarian aid. The total cost of the clothes is five million hryvnias.

In Chernivtsi, educators collected almost a hundred boxes of aid with everything necessary for the stay of soldiers who are being treated in a local hospital.

Vocational School No. 8 in Chernivtsi and Hlyboka Vocational Lyceum received 28 laptops as part of the Polish ''EU4Skills'' program of the International Solidarity Fund.

Zakarpattia Oblast

Zakarpattia Guardsmen were awarded the badge "For Valiant Service". They have recently returned from the combat zone after completing their missions. The soldiers of the engineering and sapper unit were recognized for exemplary performance of duty, impeccable conscientious service, and loyalty to the military oath.

In Uzhhorod, children raised UAH 50,000 to buy a car for the medics of the 128th Brigade. For two months, Uzhhorod children sold bracelets, beaded jewelry, and lemonade. These funds will be added to a large collection for a four-wheel drive bead for the medics of the 128th Brigade.

Congressional hearings on the development of cross-border cooperation were held in Zakarpattia. Together with MPs, heads, and representatives of regional military administrations, regional councils, NGOs, and associations, they discussed the need to develop and integrate a fundamentally new mechanism for cooperation between the regions of Ukraine and the regions of EU member states, and to develop appropriate legislation for this purpose.
