Northern oblasts

Kyiv

On the night of June 20, about two dozen enemy targets were detected and destroyed in Kyiv's airspace.

The Kyiv City Council de-russified two more streets in the capital. From now on, Dragomirova Street in the Pecherskyi district is named after Andriy Verkhohliad. Hvardiyska Street in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv was renamed in honor of the Carpathian Sich unit. In total, 316 city venues and facilities have been renamed in Kyiv.


Kyiv Oblast

On the night of June 20, russian terrorists launched another massive attack. The enemy attacked the Kyiv Oblast with drones in several waves. The air raid alert lasted more than 4 hours. As a result of the attack, non-residential buildings and several private houses were damaged in one of the raions. In addition, the falling debris caused the burning of grass litter. There were no casualties or injuries.

In Irpin, the Stele of Creativity, reconstructed after enemy shelling, was installed on Creative Spirit Square. The stele was heavily damaged in March last year during active hostilities in the Kyiv Oblast. It was sent for reconstruction after the de-occupation of the city.


Zhytomyr Oblast

During the cultivation of a field near one of the villages in the Narodychi community, a warhead from the Uragan multiple launch rocket system detonated under a tractor.

Representatives of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) have selected six communities in the Zhytomyr Oblast to implement several development projects together with German partners and local authorities.

The inmates of the Romaniv Psychoneurological Boarding School collected and donated 50 bags of nuts and dried fruit for the military. The kids packed the bags together with the volunteers of the "Mission to Ukraine" Charitable Foundation.


Chernihiv Oblast

On the night of June 20, russian troops shelled the Semenivka community in the Chernihiv Oblast. The area near the village of Halahanivka came under fire.

By the Independence Day of Ukraine, they plan to create a memorial complex in Nizhyn with a sculpture of the Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Matsiyevskyi, who was shot by the russians after saying: "Glory to Ukraine".


Sumy Oblast

During the day of June 19, the russian federation forces conducted 101 attacks on the border areas of the Sumy Oblast. Eight communities were shelled. Two people were wounded in the Krasnopillia community, among them a child, and one person was killed and another wounded in the Yunakivka community.

At night and in the morning of June 20, russian soldiers fired 10 times at the border communities of the Sumy Oblast. A total of 55 explosions were recorded. Seven communities in the oblast came under fire.


Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Over the past day, the enemy continued to shell the civilian infrastructure in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, Bohodukhiv, and Izium raions of the oblast with artillery, mortars and aircraft.

In particular, the following settlements were under enemy fire: Huryiv Kozachok, Udy, Chervona Zorya, Kozacha Lopan, Lyptsi, Ternova, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Okhrymivka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Lyutivka, Ivashky, and other localities.

As a result of enemy shelling near the villages of Kivsharivka and Hlushkivka in the Kupiansk Raion, wild fires broke out.

In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv Raion, an apartment building and a private household were damaged by hostile shelling, and a fire broke out.

In Izium, an explosive device detonated while a 52-year-old man was burning garbage in his yard. The man was wounded and hospitalized in a state of moderate severity.

A 32-year-old man hit an anti-personnel mine on the river bank in the village of Oskil, Izium Raion. He was hospitalized with moderate injuries.

Mine clearance works are underway. Over the last day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service neutralized 127 explosive devices.


Donetsk Oblast

Over the past day, the russian federation shelled 15 towns and villages in the Donetsk Oblast.

On June 19, five people were wounded in the Donetsk Oblast by russian shelling: three in Chasiv Yar and two in Zalizne and Ivanivske.

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,566 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,710. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Air Force anti-aircraft gunners shot down a russian Alligator attack helicopter in the Donetsk sector.


Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

During the night, russians shelled Rai Oleksandrivka in the Mykolaivka community, damaging power lines.

In the Kostiantynivka community, 2 houses were ruined as a result of shelling: in Mykolaivka and Chervone.

In the Lysychansk sector, 2 houses were destroyed and 6 more damaged in Torske of the Lyman community. Also, 5 houses in Zvanivka were damaged.

Law enforcement officers detained a resident of Kostiantynivka, who is suspected of spying for the russian FSB. According to the investigation, he was sending data on the depots, positions and movement of equipment of the 3rd Detached Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in order to thwart the Ukrainian counteroffensive near Bakhmut.

A former rescuer from Lyman was sentenced in absentia to 15 years of imprisonment for treason. He refused to evacuate the city in 2022, and after its occupation, he joined the enemy.


Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

The russian army attacked the villages of Lastochkyne, Mykolaivka, Novyi Komar, and Novobakhmutivka. In the morning, the enemy shelled Kurakhove with artillery. Avdiivka suffered two missile attacks, artillery and tank shelling. There were no reports of casualties.

In the Novohrodivka community of the Pokrovsk Raion, a charitable organization helped to repair the toilets in a shelter.


Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

Yesterday, the russian army dropped a FAB-250 aerial bomb on Toretsk.

The Toretsk community came under numerous shelling. One person was injured in Zalizne, two houses were damaged, and a house was destroyed in Druzhba. Vasiukivka and Rozdolivka were under fire in the Soledar community.


Luhansk Oblast

The occupiers are trying to intensify offensive actions in the districts of Kreminna and Bilohorivka, but Ukrainian defenders are controlling the situation.

Stelmakhivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka were hit by artillery fire.

In occupied Sievierodonetsk, demonstration repairs carried out by barnstormers from the russian federation have been stopped. Almost all brigades from the city destroyed by the russians moved to the Donetsk Oblast. Only local workers remained, who were forced to work practically for free.

Sievierodonetsk has virtually no communication. Collaborators continue to identify places where people are trying to find a connection and call their relatives. If such places were only detected and controlled before, now they try to fine the so-called violators. But in the absence of funds among the population, this practice did not work. Therefore, the occupiers began to detain the local population when they tried to call. According to witnesses, men are sent to the basement for 30 days, women for 15.


Southern oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

On the night of June 20, three Shahed-131/136 attacks were destroyed in the Mykolaiv Oblast by air defense forces and means.

Yesterday, June 19, the enemy launched artillery strikes on the coastal and port area of ​​the town of Ochakiv in the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.

Also yesterday, as a result of shelling of the village of the Kutsurub community, a field with wheat caught fire. There are no casualties.

In Mykolaiv, the Pervomaisk, Bashtansk and Voznesensk raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.


Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the past day, June 19, the russian military shelled 19 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. A 54-year-old resident of Orikhove was injured.

At night, the russian military struck communications, agricultural and farming property and equipment, as well as a popular vacation spot. According to preliminary data, the enemies used seven S-300 missiles. As a result of the night attack on Zaporizhzhia, there were no casualties or injuries. No destruction of buildings was recorded either.

Ukrainian troops are successful in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, and are entrenched at the achieved boundaries.

In Zaporizhzhia, the water level in the lower bay of the Dniprovska HPP is 12.72 m, which is 1.78 m below the norm. In general, since the russians blew up the Kakhovka HPP, the water level in the lower bay has decreased by 4.44 m.


Odessa Oblast

In reservoirs of the Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv oblasts, at least 30% of water samples taken from surface reservoirs and recreation areas do not meet hygienic standards. Odesa is in the zone of greatest danger. The most significant excess of sanitary-chemical, microbiological and toxicological indicators was recorded here. The Ministry of Health calls on citizens to take responsibility for their own health and not to swim in the water areas of the above-mentioned oblasts.


Kherson oblast

During June 19, the russian army shelled the Kherson oblast 57 times. It fired 28 shells over Kherson. Administrative buildings in the regional center and Burhunka, a gas station and a utility company in Kherson were damaged. Five people were injured.

Russian troops attacked Kherson in the morning. A 27-year-old man died. Houses, a kindergarten, a school, and a service station were hit by russian shells. And also a team of doctors who went to help the Kherson people. The doctors were not injured. 

On the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson Oblast, at checkpoints near Oleshky, the russian military checks cars and takes away humanitarian aid brought by volunteers for the residents of the city who suffered as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP.

In the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, Oleshky and Hola Prystan, activists of the "Yellow Ribbon" movement recorded at least 20 cases of theft of local residents' property. The russian military searched the flooded houses and seized gold, equipment, and Ukrainian documents.

On the right bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson Oblast, three settlements — 595 houses — remain flooded. 

In the Hola Prystan community, most of the houses in the villages of Kardashynka and Kokhany are still under water. On the streets are the corpses of animals and livestock that died as a result of the russian troops blowing up the Kakhovka HPP.


Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of June 20, russian troops shelled the Myrove community, the Nikopol Raion, with heavy artillery. There were no dead or injured. The consequences of the shelling are established.

In Nikopol, drinking water is limited to 20 liters in one hand, and in Kryvyi Rih, car washes are "cut off" from the water supply.

In 2022, Marina Palchenko and Ksenia Samoilich from Dnipro organized the "Sewing Squadron" to sew adaptive clothing for wounded soldiers. During its existence, over 25,000 units of adaptive clothing have been sewn, and more than 500 volunteers in Ukraine and abroad have joined the initiative.


Cherkasy Oblast

In the Zolotonosha and Chornobaivka communities, agricultural land is being confiscated from two russian citizens. They inherited land plots with an area of more than 4 hectares and a value of about UAH 100,000. According to the law, they were supposed to voluntarily transfer the land to an individual or legal entity of Ukraine, but they did not do so. Today, about 10 similar lawsuits are pending in the courts. Their total area is more than 20 hectares.

In Cherkasy, a camp for immigrants and local youth "Your horizons: pump yourself up" was opened. The goal is the integration of internally displaced persons into the Cherkasy community, access of young people to current knowledge, and the creation of an environment for useful leisure time. The first shift has 25 people. A separate quota has been established for youth from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine or the war zone.


Kirovohrad Oblast

Two servicemen from the Katerynivka community received honorary state awards. Thus, a resident of the community, Vladyslav Bairachnyi, was awarded the "Golden Cross" badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi and the medal "For bravery in battle". A resident of the community, Vladyslav Holovko, was awarded the "For Assault" award of the 35th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear-Admiral Ostrohradskyi.


Poltava Oblast

On the territory of the Poltava Oblast, the inspection of protective structures was completed. Specialists inspected 2,460 shelters. 20.5% of them were recognized by the commission as unsuitable. Corresponding acts were provided to balance-keepers, authorities and local self-government for review.

The alarm notification system will be replaced in Poltava. The one that is operating now is almost 40 years old.

From June 19, in the Poltava Oblast, people can contact the "hotlines" to receive or provide assistance to victims of the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP.


Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

In Lviv, three "Shahe" drones hit a critically important object. A fire broke out. People were not injured. Due to shelling, the routes of three trams in the city were changed.

With the money collected during the celebration of the City Day in Lviv, quadcopters, batteries and starlinks for the military in the amount of UAH 1.5 million were purchased. The equipment has already been handed over to military brigades.


Rivne Oblast

23 employees from the Dubno, Mlyniv and Korets branches of PRJSC "Rivneoblenergo'' continue to restore electricity supply to the residents of the Kherson Oblast. 8 units of equipment are involved in the work. Together with colleagues from the Kherson, Zhytomyr and Kirovohrad oblasts, the Rivne energy companies work in the Beryslav Raion. Specialists restore power grids destroyed by the enemy and supply electricity to Kherson residents.

In 10 days, about 200 tons of humanitarian aid were collected in the Rivne Oblast. These are drinking water, fuel, filters for water purification. These are also heat guns, boats, wetsuits, electric generators, electric and motorized pumps, etc. For this, the Rivne Oblast Military Administration involves raion military administrations, local self-government bodies, charitable and religious organizations..

On June 20, an exhibition-installation was opened in Rivne that tells the stories of internally displaced persons and refugees. The exhibition-installation "Hope Far From Home" is 15 stories and symbolic suitcases about people who were forced to flee the war and took their most precious things with them. The organizer of the event was the "Rokada" charitable foundation in Rivne.


Chernivtsi Oblast

Three high-terrain vehicles were sent from Velykyi Kuchuriv community to the defenders on the front line. Along with them, things and food necessary for the military were transferred.

Since 2014, employees of the Chernivtsi knitwear enterprise "Natalux" have been using their resources to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Recently, on the basis of the enterprise, they began to create an analogue of camouflage nets - "vytynanka". This saves human resources and allows requests to be executed ten times faster.

Andrii Berbets is a professor of the Bukovyna State Medical University and an obstetrician-gynecologist. On February 28, 2022, he voluntarily went to the Military Commissariat and for the first six months served as a medic at an educational center in the Lviv Oblast. Now he rescues the wounded and records lectures on the front lines.

The head of the Chernivtsi Oblast military Administration, Ruslan Zaparaniuk, held a working field meeting with rescuers and road workers regarding the situation with the rising water level in the Prut River.

The next batch of aid was delivered from the Chernivtsi Oblast to the Kherson Oblast. This is 4 tons of cargo: essential items and inventory for clearing works.


Zakarpattia Oblast

Children from the Zakarpattia Oblast collected almost UAH 1.5 million for the Drone Army. They held school fairs, charity events, sports competitions, and other activities. As a result, the collected money was transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Volunteers from the city of Graz (Austria) donated an ultrasound machine along with system equipment and medicines to the Uzhhorod City Children's Clinical Hospital. The mayor of Uzhhorod thanked the authorities and citizens of Austria for the help to the patients of the medical facility and the support of Ukrainians.

Volunteers will take a large consignment of humanitarian aid, including tactical medical shoulder bags, from the Zakarpattia Oblast to the Kherson and Chernihiv oblasts.

In May in the oblast, compared to December 2022, product prices increased by more than 7.4%. The prices of vegetables increased the most - by 49.6%, fruits - by 11.1%, meat and meat products - by 7.4%.
