Northern oblasts

Kyiv

On the night of June 24, russians attacked Kyiv. This time with missiles. Since the beginning of the day, the air raid alert has been announced twice. In the Solomianskyi district, the falling missile debris caused destruction and fire on the 16th, 17th, and 18th floors of a 24-story building. Three people have been reported dead.

Kyiv Oblast

At the same time, several grass litter fires were reported in two raions of the Kyiv Oblast as a result of falling debris. The fires were promptly extinguished. One car was damaged.

Chernihiv Oblast

Russian troops continue to shell the border areas of the Chernihiv Oblast. In particular, at night of June 24, they attacked the village of Halahanivka in the Semenivka community. There was no information about damage to civilian structures.

Sumy Oblast

On June 23, 7 border communities in the Sumy Oblast were shelled from the territory of russia. A total of 50 explosions were recorded.

At night and in the morning of June 24, the russian military fired six times at the border areas of the Sumy Oblast. 24 explosions were recorded. The Znob-Novhorodske, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, and Velyka Pysarivka communities came under fire.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Last night, the enemy attacked Kharkiv with S-300 missiles. One missile hit the ground in the industrial zone of Kholodnohirskyi district, damaging 10 cars. The second one hit the ground in the Slobidskyi district. A gas pipe was damaged, the windows of a neighboring building were smashed, and a fire broke out. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Over the past day, the Russian invaders continued to shell the frontline and border settlements in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, and Izium raions of the oblast.

A store building was damaged in the village of Vilkhuvatka, Kupiansk Raion.

In Vovchansk, the buildings of the meat processing plant were damaged, and a fire broke out.

As a result of mortar shelling, a private household was damaged in the urban-type settlement of Vilcha, Chuhuiv Raion.

In the village of Cherneshchyna, Izium Raion, a private house and outbuildings were damaged as a result of artillery shelling.

In the village of Artemivka, Chuhuiv Raion, a 73-year-old local resident picked up an explosive item from the ground in the forest, which detonated in his hands. He was hospitalized with moderate injuries.

Mine clearance works are ongoing. Over the past day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 70 explosive devices.

Donetsk Oblast

On June 23, the russian army shelled 12 towns and villages in the Donetsk Oblast. A total of 19 shelling attacks were recorded. Buildings and communications were damaged.

Two people were killed in the Donetsk Oblast by russian army shelling over the past day. Two more were wounded.

In total, since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,571 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,720 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

One person was killed in and three houses were damaged in Kostiantynivka of the Maryinka community. Three more houses and a school were ruined in the village of Viroliubivka in the same community.

In the Lysychansk sector, 10 shelling attacks on the Lyman community were recorded.

In the Donetsk Oblast, rescuers came under artillery fire from the russian army. They were extinguishing a forest litter fire on the territory of one of the forestry companies in the Lyman Raion. The shelling damaged a fire truck and fire-fighting equipment. No one was hurt.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Horlivkai direction in the Toretsk community, eight houses were damaged. There are four of them in Shcherbynivka, two in Toretsk and two in Pivnichne.

In the morning, Toretsk again came under artillery shelling. One person was injured, and shops were damaged. One house was damaged in the Chasiv Yar community.

In the Bakhmut direction, the occupation army of the russian federation lost about one hundred soldiers killed and more than two hundred wounded in the past day.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

The Kurakhove community came under fire twice. A house in Dalnie was damaged. In the middle of the night, there was a massive shelling of Avdiivka. There is damage on two streets.

A mobile headquarters was organized to help people who suffered as a result of enemy shelling on the evening of June 21. The Defense Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed the liberation of the territories near Krasnohorivka in the Pokrovsk Raion, which were under the control of the occupiers since 2014. The Ukrainian military defeated the occupiers about a week ago, but the information was not distributed for tactical reasons.

Southern oblasts

Kherson Oblast

During June 23, the russian army struck the Kherson Oblast 79 times. It fired 32 shells over Kherson. Residential blocks, a transport company in Kherson, an administrative building and a trade establishment in Beryslav were hit. Four people died, six, including a child, were injured.

Yesterday, around 9:00 p.m., russian troops fired mortars at a settlement in the Kakhovka district. A man died as a result of a projectile hitting a residential building. A woman was also injured by the shelling. She was hospitalized. 

In the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson Oblast, the Defense Forces killed off more than 40 russian soldiers, destroyed two heavy howitzers and three air defense systems of the russian army in a day.

As of now, the level of flooding on the right bank of the Kherson Oblast is 37 centimeters. In Kherson, the water receded from all the houses. One house each was flooded in Novohrednieve and Blahodativka.

Residents of Velika and Mala Kardashynka cannot reach the houses in the lower parts. There is no electricity in most of the flooded villages and part of Hola Prystan. The connection is missing or unstable.

Today, rescuers completed the collection of oil products that settled near a settlement in the Viryovchyna floodplain in the Kherson Oblast. Six tons of sorbent were used to treat the area and 250 cubic meters of contaminated soil were disposed of.

In the Beryslav Raion, the consequences of the man-made disaster caused by the blowing up of the Kakhovka HPP by russian troops continue to be eliminated. Eight tons of drinking water were delivered to the villages of Lvove and Vysoke of the Tiahynka community. Communal workers, volunteers and residents of these villages clear the territories of silt, fallen trees and garbage brought by the current from the reservoir.

Mukolaiv Oblast

On the night of June 24, in the Mykolaiv Oblast, two russian cruise missiles of the Kh-101/555 type were shot down by the forces and means of air defense of the Pivden Air Command.

Yesterday, June 23, the enemy fired artillery at the water area of ​​the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.

In Mykolaiv, the Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanska raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the past day, on June 23, the russian military shelled 19 populated areas of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

As of June 24, the water level in the Zaporizhzhia NPP cooling pond is 16.6 m. This is enough to meet the plant's needs. The situation remains stable and under control.

In the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the water level in the lower bay of the Dnipro HPP is 12.77 m, which is 1.73 m below the norm. In general, since the russians blew up the Kakhovka HPP, the water level in the lower bay has dropped by 4.39 m.

Odesa Oblast

At night, the russians fired two Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea over Odesa. One missile was shot down during an aerial battle, the other fell on open territory. The blast wave damaged the warehouse building. There were no casualties.

In the Black Sea, the number of missile carriers has increased to three, their total complement can be up to 14 Calibers. In total, seven russian warships are on combat duty.

The city authorities of Odesa want to take into communal ownership the shelter of the bankrupt "Kraian'' plant and 13 more storage facilities that belong to the state or have no legal owner. For this, the city council asks the central authorities to simplify the procedure for transferring storage facilities in order to fully equip them and maintain them in the future.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

At night, russian terrorists attacked the city of Dnipro. 9 cruise missiles and 3 drones were shot down over the oblast. Instead, Kh-22 ballistic missiles hit Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih. In Dnipro, there are 8 victims, among them two are children, boys aged 9 and 16. Four people are hospitalized. 4 private houses were completely destroyed, another 25 were damaged. 5 outbuildings were also affected. Almost 20 cars and a gas pipeline were mutilated, and infrastructure facilities were significantly damaged.

Several times the aggressor shelled the Nikopol Raion with heavy artillery. The Marganets community and the city of Nikopol were under attack. 2 private houses were damaged in the city. A 70-year-old man was killed by shelling in Nikopol.

The center for long-term residence of internally displaced persons in Dnipro sheltered 50 IDPs.

Kirovohrad Oblast

On the night of June 23-24, the russians carried out a massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. In the Kirovohrad Oblast, air defense forces shot down enemy missiles. Several houses and cars were damaged by debris. There were no casualties or injuries.

Lviv Oblast

Chernivtsi Oblast

Since the beginning of 2023, 50 employers of the Chernivtsi Oblast have taken advantage of the opportunity to receive compensation for the employment of 132 internally displaced persons. In total, the compensation amounts to more than UAH 1.5 million.

In Chernivtsi, a social support office for military personnel and their family members was opened in the premises of the oblast department of social protection. Here people can get free legal and psychological help, as well as advice on social benefits.

Medicines, first-aid kits, and tourniquets collected by volunteers in Bukovyna were delivered by military medics, who are now providing first aid to their comrades in the Vuhledar and Mariinka directions.

"Inscribed in history - destroyed by war": a photo exhibition of the historical part of Mariupol before and after the full-scale invasion was presented at the Chernivtsi Oblast Museum of Local History.

Zakarpattia Oblast

The opening ceremony of a newly built village for families from Kherson and 24 children from Mariupol was held in the village of Seredne, the Uzhhorod Raion. The event took place in the "Peace Ark" children's center. In total, 48 people received temporary housing.
