Northern oblasts

Kyiv

An explosion thundered in the Shevchenkivskyi district court of Kyiv last night. Armed police officers brought the defendant who attempted to escape from custody. In doing so he used an explosive device. The offender died at the scene. Two KORD (Rapid Reaction Corps) team members were wounded during the storming of the building. They are provided with medical assistance.

Today, 45 Ukrainian soldiers of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, border guards. and two civilians returned home from captivity. Among them are two officers, 41 privates and sergeants, a civilian employee of Azovstal, and a fighter of the territorial defense force from Kherson. Among them there are wounded soldiers.

The police surrounded the buildings of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Clashes erupted between the police and believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, as the latter obstructed the work of the commission of the Ministry of Culture. Law enforcement officers managed to seal buildings 69 and 70.

Regular desktop exercises of the civil defense forces were held in the capital. The topic of the exercises was the procedure to be followed the event of a threat or occurrence of an emergency situation at the regional level, related to the possible contamination of the territory with radioactive materials.


Kyiv Oblast

On July 6, blasting operations were carried out at the Shamrayiv deposit in the Bila Tserkva Raion. They are related to technological processes. There were also works associated with the elimination of explosive ordnance. For the same reason, it was “noisy” in the Bucha community and in the Vyshhorod Raion.

Massive fish pestilence occurred in the Kyiv Reservoir. Experts took water samples.


Zhytomyr Oblast

The families of four soldiers who died for Ukraine in Zhytomyr received their state awards (posthumously). First Lieutenant Andriy Okhremenko was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, 3rd Class. Senior Sergeant Oleh Brukhovskyi was awarded the badge of the 66th Detached Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Junior Sergeant Dmytro Hordiyenko and soldier Dmytro Nadolynskyi were awarded the Order "For Courage", 3rd Class. Eternal memory to the Heroes.

In the Zhytomyr community, the shelters are going to be equipped with an automated access system - electronic locks will be installed on the shelters, which can be unlocked remotely using the Internet.


Chernihiv Oblast

On July 6, russian troops shelled the border area of the Novhorod-Siversk community in the Chernihiv Oblast. There were also three hits, probably from a tank, and eight hits, probably from a 120 mm mortar, in the Semenivka community.

In the Chernihiv Oblast, more than five hundred subscribers remain without electricity due to russian shelling. People have been without electricity for a month and a half.


Sumy Oblast

On July 5, russian forces shelled the Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Znob-Novhorodske, Krasnopillia, Seredyna-Buda, and Khotyn communities in the Sumy Oblast.

Ten cars and a private house were damaged in the Krasnopillia community. In the Seredyna-Buda community, two private houses, a grocery store, a car and a moped were damaged.

Last night and in the morning, the russian military shelled the border areas of the Sumy Oblast three times. 25 explosions were recorded. The Krasnopillia, Khotyn, and Yunakivka communities came under fire from the territory of the russian federation. There were no casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.


Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

In the Zolochiv community, the russian federation destroyed the railway station building at the Odnorobivka station with a direct hit. A fire broke out, but they could not quickly put it out due to shelling.

In the morning of July 6, a road worker's tractor hit a mine in the Pechenihy community, and the driver sustained concussion and light injuries from glass shards.

Another tractor exploded today during agricultural work near the de-occupied village of Kurulka in the Barvinkove community. The driver was hospitalized in Kramatorsk.

A 47-year-old former official from Kupiansk was served a notice of suspicion in absentia of collaborating with the occupiers. According to investigators, he voluntarily headed the "Department of Culture, Sports and Youth" under the occupation authorities and organized mass events to support russian troops. After the de-occupation, the suspect fled to russia.

In the de-occupied Borshchova of the Lyptsi community, power engineers restored power supply to the first 30 houses. About 70-100% of power grids and electrical equipment were damaged in the village. Borshchova is expected to be fully provided with electricity by the fall.


Donetsk Oblast

Over the past day, the russian occupiers carried out powerful attacks on Kostiantynivka, Avdiivka, Toretsk, and Druzhkivka. In total, the occupiers shelled 12 towns and villages of the Donetsk Oblast. They fired 19 times at civilians, damaged more than 20 residential buildings, a substation, an administrative building, and hit a wheat field.

On July 5, five people were wounded in the Donetsk Oblast as a result of shelling by the russian army. No one was killed.

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,595 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,799. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.


Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

In the Lysychansk direction, the Lyman community came under fire. In Terny two houses were destroyed and two were damaged. In Ivanivka two houses were damaged. One more house was damaged in Siversk.

In Kostiantynivka, a russian rocket damaged ten houses. Another one was destroyed in Kleban-Byk of the Illinivka community.

In Kramatorsk, the families of fallen defenders of Ukraine were presented with their awards. 11 Heroes were posthumously awarded medals "For Military Service of Ukraine" with a certificate. The families of the two fallen soldiers received the Order "For Courage" of the 2nd degree and the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree.


Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

Avdiivka was subjected to massive artillery shelling, shelling from tanks and Grad MLRS. Some houses on eight streets were damaged.

In Kurakhove, two houses were damaged, and a fire broke out on agricultural land.

Shelling of Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka of the Marinka community and Orlivka of the Ocheretyne community was recorded.

In the Avdiivka direction, the Defense Forces restrain the advance of russian troops and repulse the assault units that are trying to seize Marinka. During the day, russian soldiers stormed this direction 23 times, shelled the positions of Ukrainian defenders 586 times.


Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Horlivska direction in Toretsk, one person was injured, ten houses and two infrastructure objects were damaged; a house was damaged in Pivnichne. One more house was damaged in the Chasiv Yar community.

Heavy fighting is taking place in the Klishchiivka area south of Bakhmut.

Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine detained a resident of Toretsk who is suspected of spying for the russian federation. According to the investigation, he was trying to identify the locations of the HIMARS artillery systems.


Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

In the Volnovakha direction, the Vugledar community is under shelling: five houses were damaged in Maksymivka. Prechistivka and Vugledar were shelled with artillery. One person was injured in Velyka Novosilka, 13 houses were damaged in Shakhtarske.

The police brought humanitarian aid to the village of Vremivka, near Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk Oblast. For a long time, the village was two hundred meters away from the russian occupiers, and the law enforcement officers were unable to help 14 villagers.


Luhansk Oblast

According to materials of the Security Service of Ukraine, the occupying leaders of the "prosecutor's office" and "police of LPR of Sievierodonetsk " face up to 15 years behind bars. Law enforcement officers completed the investigation of four collaborators. These are men and women from the occupied Luhansk, Dovzhansk and the Starobilsk Raion.


Mariupol

In occupied Mariupol, communal infrastructure continues to be in a state of emergency, and unsanitary conditions have become commonplace. Constant sewage breakthroughs are common occurrences. People complain about utilities that do nothing.


Southern oblasts 

Mykolaiv Oblast 

During the fifth of July, russian troops bombarded the water area of ​​the Ochakiv community and the city of Ochakiv with artillery and mortars. The settlement of the Kutsurub community was also shelled.

On the morning of July 6, russian troops once again shelled the town of Ochakiv. After being hit by ammunition and debris, the roof of a non-residential building caught fire. There are no injuries.

In the village of Shyroke, in the Mykolaiv Oblast, as of July 6, the work of the dispensary was resumed. The building was almost completely destroyed by shelling of russian troops.

In Mykolaiv, the Ukrainian Women's Foundation and the organization "Women's Health and Family Planning" opened the first barrier-free gynecological office. It is located in the Mykolaiv Regional Clinical Hospital.


Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The IAEA requested additional access to the roofs of the third and fourth power units of the ZNPP, as well as the turbine halls and parts of the station's cooling system, to check whether there are explosives there.

In Zaporizhzhia, it is not recommended to swim in the Dnipro to protect yourself from infectious diseases. The water does not meet sanitary standards. Thus, deviations from the norms and exceeding the indicators of Escherichia coli were recorded in the lower pool of Dnipro.

Thanks to MX-7, a signal of Ukrainian television is gradually appearing in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.


Odesa Oblast 

There are currently six russian cruise missile carriers on combat duty in the Black Sea, their total salvo is up to 22 Calibers.

In Odesa, preparations are underway to provide critical infrastructure and social spheres with alternative sources of energy supply. So, a solar power plant was built on the roof of the City Children's Polyclinic No. 6. The equipment of the first 16 traffic lights with devices for their autonomous operation during the absence of electricity is also underway.


Kherson Oblast

On July 5, the russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 84 times, firing 38 shells at Kherson. Two people died, ten, including a child, were injured.

At night, the russian military attacked Kherson, Inzhenerne, and shelled the left bank of the River Dnipro in the area of ​​the Antonivka Road Bridge with artillery.

As a result of the morning shelling in the Kherson Oblast, there are wounded. In Antonivka, a 73-year-old woman was slightly injured. Two elderly people are in serious condition in the village of Priozerne. As a result of the morning shelling of Kherson, three people were injured. 



Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of July 6, russian troops struck the Nikopol Raion three times with heavy artillery. There are no casualties or injuries. A private house, 2 outbuildings, and a power line were damaged.

At night, the military of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down a drone in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Collection points were prepared in the communities of the Nikopol raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in case of evacuation due to an accident at the ZNPP. People were informed about what things to have with them, how to evacuate with pets, what evacuation routes will be and where people will be resettled.


Kirovohrad Oblast 

On July 6, during a nighttime missile attack, the forces and means of air defense of the Southern Air Command shot down one Kalibr sea-based cruise missile over Kirovohrad Oblast.

Vasyl Mazurok from Kropyvnytskyi is among the 45 defenders of Ukraine who returned from captivity today.


Poltava Oblast

Since the beginning of russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, almost 30,000 residents of the Poltava Oblast have been mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces.

A fourth row appeared in the sector of honorable burials. Poltava defenders who died fighting for Ukraine are buried here. Monuments are appearing in some places - relatives are no longer waiting for the promises of the authorities of the Poltava community to establish unified monuments for everyone.

Poltava Oblast will receive UAH 643 million for reconstruction. The money will be directed to educational and health care institutions, centers for the provision of administrative services, critical infrastructure facilities, etc. The source of the subvention was the European Investment Bank.

Multimedia theatrical performance "Azovstal. Voices" will be held on July 21 at the Poltava Center of Culture and Leisure. This is a story about the defense of Mariupol, consisting of monologues about the spiritual values ​​of each person. The collective images of defenders are used in the play.


Western Oblasts 

Lviv Oblast

Russia attacked Lviv with Kalibr missiles. Air defense forces destroyed seven out of ten cruise missiles. The rest hit residential buildings.

As of 18:00, the number of people killed as a result of a rocket attack on the city is 5, injured - 40 people.

As a result of the rocket attack, 35 buildings, educational institutions, dormitories, a large office center, as well as 57 cars were damaged. More than 1,000 windows need to be replaced.

A two-day mourning period was announced in Lviv in memory of those who died as a result of a rocket attack on the city.

During the shelling of Lviv, at least 10 reports of closed shelters were received. The police of the Lviv Oblast opened criminal proceedings. According to the decision of the commission on emergency situations, shelters on the territory of the Lviv community must be open 24 hours a day.  

 

Khmelnytskyi Oblast 

Kamianets-Podilskyi

The mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi met with the president of the “MiSt” charity fund named after Mykhailo Savenka. It was about the fact that the foundation intends to present a batch of energy-saving lanterns to illuminate streets and intersections to Kamianets for Independence Day.

In order to preserve the memory of the living and fallen soldiers of the russian-Ukrainian war, replenish the source base of the history of Ukraine during the period of independence, the city archive continues to collect documents for the formation of relevant funds and collections. Participants of hostilities or their direct witnesses and displaced persons are asked to share their memories and testimonies.


Chernivtsi Oblast 

Defenders Oleg Trach and Irakli Khmylivskyi were awarded the high award of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny - the "Golden Cross" sign. Oleg Trach also received the award of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine - the "For Wounding" medal.

A shelter for internally displaced persons was opened in the city of Zastavni. 30 residential rooms were equipped in the dormitory of the higher professional school No. 24. They will be able to accommodate 75 people. Also, a house for internally displaced persons was opened in the village of Chunkiv of the Kadubibtsi territorial community. A two-story building was renovated here. In total, the facility can accommodate 50 people.

 The Ukrainian-Romanian-Moldovan business forum will take place in Chernivtsi for two days. Its purpose is to establish relations with international partners, develop mutually beneficial cross-border cooperation, discuss current topics of trade cooperation between the three states, and the development of tourism.

At the Chernivtsi Oblast Military Administration, the Coordinating Council on Mental Health Issues has started work.

 28 territorial communities of Bukovyna received charitable assistance from the Red Cross of Ukraine. In order to ensure uninterrupted functioning of schools, kindergartens, dispensaries and other public institutions during the autumn-winter period, 36 generators with a capacity of 7–8 kW were provided to them.


Zakarpattia Oblast 

The head of the Zakarpattia OMA continues to work in the main European institutions in Brussels. The goal is to present successful cases of cooperation between Zakarpattia and the Austrian Federal Land Burgenland, as well as the model and results of cooperation between regions and communities under martial law, the dynamics of decentralization reform development, and joint support projects.

The regional military administration together with the Zakarpattia Oblast Development Agency are launching a competition for territorial communities to finance the development of the concept of industrial parks. This is an additional opportunity for the development of the community and its investment attractiveness, the creation of new jobs and the provision of additional revenues to the budgets.

In Zakarpattia, 8.5 million hryvnias have already been allocated to the implementation of the "eRobota: Own Business" project. In 2023, the employment service is conducting the twelfth wave of applications to receive a micro-grant for entrepreneurs within the framework of the government program "eRobota: Own Business". From January 1 to July 5, 2023, 206 applications for receiving micro-grants have already been submitted to the Zakarpattia Oblast Employment Service through the DIIA portal.

In the Zakarpattia Oblast Hospital, an extremely complex combined operation was performed on a patient with a gunshot wound. It lasted more than two hours. Currently, the patient is doing well, recovering and undergoing rehabilitation.

The exhibition "From the Carpathian Sources", dedicated to the culture of the inhabitants of the Carpathians - Hutsuls, Pokutians and Bukovinians, was opened in the halls of the Uzhgorod Open Air Museum of the Uzhhorod open air museum. The collections of the National Museum of Folk Art of Hutsul Region and Pokuttia, the private collection of the ethnographer and researcher of folk culture Mykola Shkriblyak, diploma works of graduates and works of teachers of the Kosovo Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts are presented here - more than 200 works in total.
