Northern Oblasts

Kyiv

Kyiv Oblast

Housing for IDPs continues to be built in Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka. During this week, all apartment doors were installed at the facility, metal stairs were painted, external doors were installed, ventilation pipes were installed and ventilation ducts were laid, cables were laid for lighting the entrance group, MK canopy was installed, tiles were laid on the floor, walls were primed, window sills were installed.


Zhytomyr Oblast

In Zhytomyr, volunteers of "Sewing Company" sew clothes for soldiers on the front lines and adaptive clothes for wounded soldiers. Cloth is bought for donations. It is also brought by caring people. Chernihiv Oblast

On October 5, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated over 63 million hryvnias to the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University for reconstruction. The funds were allocated directly to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from the fund for liquidation of the consequences of armed aggression. The allocated funds will be directed to the restoration of the roof and windows of the Peremoga Science and Art Center at the university, as well as to the restoration and repair of the roofs of the first and second buildings of the educational institution.


Sumy Oblast

During October 6, the russian army shelled 5 communities of Sumy Oblast. The communities of Krasnopillya, Khotyn, Bilopillya, Velikopysarivka, and Shalygine were shelled. 3 private houses, 3 farm buildings and an administration building were damaged.

In Sumy Oblast, a 14-year-old teenager found an explosive device in the yard. As a result of his injuries, the boy died in the hospital.


Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Last night, the enemy struck the city of Kupyansk with a guided aerial bomb. 3 residential buildings were damaged, there was a fire. There were no casualties.

Rescue operations have been completed at the sites of rocket attacks on Kharkiv. 2 people died: a 68-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy. 30 residents were injured: 20 men and 9 women aged 18 to 85, and an 11-month-old boy. The condition of most of the wounded, including the child, is medium. 88 buildings were damaged, of which 61 are residential high-rise buildings, 46 cars.

During the past day, the enemy shelled the settlements of Chuguyiv and Kupyansk raions.

A 56-year-old civilian man was injured as a result of shelling from the "Tornado" SAM in Shevchenkive village of Kupyansk raion.

In the city of Vovchansk, Chuguyiv raion, a one-story apartment building was destroyed by shelling. A 76-year-old man, a 75-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman were injured and hospitalized.

Warehouses and property of a civilian enterprise were damaged as a result of shelling from an anti-aircraft missile in the village of Kurylivka, Kupiansk raion.

Also, the villages of Petropavlivka, Nechvladovka and Moskovka of the Kupyansk raion, Gatishche and Zemlyanka of the Chuguyiv raion and others were under enemy fire.

During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined more than 16 hectares of territory and neutralized 79 explosive objects.


Donetsk Oblast

On October 6, the russian army shelled Toretsk and Minkivka with artillery — one person was injured, and private houses were mutilated. Seven settlements in Donetsk Oblast came under shelling from aircraft and artillery last day.

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,740 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, and injured another 4,211 people.


Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

4 houses were damaged in Siversk, 11 shellings were recorded in Lyman community.


Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

In the Donetsk direction, the russians fired 4 rockets at Avdiivka in the evening — without casualties. The night in the city passed relatively calmly.

In the Avdiyivka and Maryinka areas, the Ukrainian military repelled more than 10 attacks by the russian army.


Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

On the Horlivskyi direction, 1 person was injured in Minkivka of the Soledar community. 4 private houses were damaged in Chasiv Yar community, 5 in Toretsk.


Volnovakha and Volnovkha raion

The AFU had success east of Andriyivka in the Bakhmut direction during October 6.


Luhansk Oblast

The invaders carried out airstrikes in the area of Bilohorivka. Nevske and Bilohorivka suffered from artillery and mortar fire.

The occupation administration of Rubizhne began the expropriation of social infrastructure objects. These are, in particular, buildings of banks, pharmacies, trade enterprises, etc. If their owners do not provide the originals of relevant documents during October, acts will be drawn up on the impossibility of establishing the owners of the real estate objects, after which these objects will pass to the municipal property.


Southern Oblasts

Mykolayiv Oblast

As of 7 a.m. on October 7, no enemy shelling was recorded on the territory of the Mykolaiv Oblast.


Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The russian army conducted 113 strikes on towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia Oblast over the past day. Air strikes were carried out on Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka. More than 10 settlements came under artillery fire, MLRS shelling and drone attacks.

Men aged 35 and 82 were wounded as a result of russian artillery shelling of Orikhiv yesterday.

This morning, russians attacked the village of Bilenke in Zaporizhzhia Raion. As of 4 p.m., 2 people were killed and two more were injured. According to preliminary data, the village was shelled with cluster munitions. Seven houses were damaged, three were destroyed to the ground.

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the russian army in the area northeast of Novoprokopivka, and in the Melitopol sector, they have partial success north of Kopan and north of Novoprokopivka.

Russians are building concrete fortifications and trenches in the Orikhiv sector.


Odesa Oblast

The russian army attacked Odesa Oblast with supersonic "Oniks" anti-ship missiles fired from the Bastion coastal missile system in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The missiles hit the building of a boarding house in a recreational area and a grain storage facility at the port infrastructure. Missile debris and a blast wave caused a fire in a garage cooperative, and several apartment buildings were damaged. Four people were injured, they received light injuries from glass shards.

The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Martin Jaeger, paid an official visit to Odesa. The purpose of his visit was to preserve the cultural heritage protected by UNESCO. He inspected the destruction caused by russian shelling.


Kherson Oblast

Yesterday, russian troops fired 52 times in Kherson Oblast, launching 237 shells from various types of weapons. They hit residential areas of the region's settlements and the territory of a plant in Kherson. Two people were wounded.

The russian military dropped a munition from a drone on Vysokopillya, Kherson Oblast. A rescuer was seriously injured and hospitalized.

At night, russian troops attacked Kherson and Sadove with artillery and mortars, wounding a 52-year-old man. He was hospitalized in moderate condition.

Today, russian troops shelled Komyshany, Kherson Oblast. A woman was wounded and taken to hospital in moderate condition. Private houses, outbuildings, and vehicles were damaged.

In Kherson Oblast, police evacuated a woman with three children and a kitten from Bilozerka. They moved to a safer area, where volunteers and local authorities will help them settle down. Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

At night on October 7, russian troops attacked Nikopol Raion of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast twice.

The artillery hit the Marhanets community. They fired fifteen shells.

Rescuers are investigating the consequences of the shelling. No one was killed or injured.


Kirovohrad Oblast

In Svitlovodsk, Oleksandriia Raion, Sergeant Valerii Nishchehlodov, and Senior Soldier Oleksandr Buriko were posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree. Valeriy Nishcheglodov's life was cut short on the front line in September 2022 in Donetsk Oblast. Oleksandr Buriko died in December 2022. Eternal memory to the Heroes.

The owner of a pro-russian Telegram channel was tried in Kropyvnytskyi. During martial law, he called for not recognizing Ukraine's state borders. The suspect pleaded guilty. The court sentenced him to 4 years in prison and released him from serving the sentence with probation for 1 year and 6 months.

The regional center hosted a training for 49 deputy heads of territorial communities on humanitarian issues on how to organize work to support the mental health of the region's population. Students of the Naukovyi Lyceum in Kropyvnytskyi raised almost UAH 100,000 during a school fair. It was attended by 54 classes, parents, and teachers. Part of the money will be used to purchase boats ordered by the soldiers, and part will be spent on a thermal imager.


Poltava Oblast

The enemy attacked Poltava Oblast. During the air alert, the sound of an explosion was heard in the Myrhorod raion. Information regarding enemy hits on critical or civilian infrastructure is being ascertained. Nine private houses were damaged. No casualties so far.

A team of builders from Poltava Oblast repairs roofs, replaces windows and doors in the homes of local residents as part of the “Side by Side” program. Currently, 17 households have already been restored, and about 60 houses are in the process.


Vinnytsia Oblast

A memorial plaque in memory of the fallen marine Maksym Neseverenko nicknamed “Kong” was opened in Vinnytsia. They placed it on the facade of the house on Knyaziv Koriatovychiv Street, where the defender lived. The opening of the plaque was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the defender's death.

More than 2.5 tons of plastic was collected as part of the All-Ukrainian action “The enemy is dead”. During the month, 99 educational institutions of Vinnytsia collected plastic caps to send them for recycling to the “OVES” fund, which is the organizer of the initiative. Proceeds from the recycled caps will be donated to support the Armed Forces.


Western Oblasts

Rivne Oblast

More than two tons of chestnuts were collected in a community in the Rivne Oblast in order to hand them over and transfer the proceeds to the needs of the Armed Forces. In this way, they wanted to support a graduate of the local lyceum, his unit needs a car.


Lviv Oblast

Climbing one of the highest mountains of the Lviv Oblast — Parashka (1268.5 m) was organized for wounded servicemen. 12 fighters, as well as volunteers, covered the route in a little more than three hours.


Khmelnytskyi Oblast

20 residents of Khmelnytskyi Oblast took part in the “Bring the Heroes Home” campaign, which took place in the Oblast center. This action has been organized every Friday since August 19 of last year in order to bring closer the liberation of Ukrainians from russian captivity.

The manifesto of sustainable peace “The world after our victory” was presented in Khmelnytskyi. This document contains ideas on how to prevent russia's future aggression and ensure lasting peace in practice not only in Western, but also in Central and Eastern Europe.

Eighth-graders of the Khmelnytskyi community began to study “Khmelnytskyi lore” in the lessons of the history of Ukraine. You will learn about the history of the Oblast center from the guide, which was presented at the end of September.


Chernivtsi Oblast

In Chernivtsi OMA, state and Oblast awards were presented to the families of the fallen defenders: Volodymyr Nikityuk, Yuriy Rakhmaev, Denys Dovgan, Stepan Tkachuk, Hennadiy Gordun, Serhiy Zavyazkin, Andriy Savchuk, Vasyl Totsky.

The Novodniester community handed over six drones to compatriots from the 97th separate battalion of the 107th Territorial Defense Brigade. The total cost of the equipment with accessories is 921,000 hryvnias.

A “Peugeot” car for soldiers was purchased by Ivan Motsak from Sokyriany raion. His family has already provided substantial support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine on more than one occasion. The transport went to one of the military units where the Sokyriany soldiers serve.

In Bukovyna, during 2022-2023, 80% of the streets that were subject to the law “On condemnation of communist and national socialist (nazi) totalitarian regimes in Ukraine and prohibition of propaganda of their symbols” were renamed.

Today, Chernivtsi is celebrating the 615th anniversary of the first written mention of the city. For the first time, a pet-friendly fair was held here. During the event, money was collected for the purchase of fodder and medicine for animals suffering from military operations. And they also helped homeless four-legged friends find a new home.


Zakarpattia Oblast

Over the course of a week, volunteers handed out 50 packages of essential items for children under 2 years old, 100 grocery sets, as well as bed linen and dishes to the displaced persons registered in Uzhgorod at the “Owl's Nest” Humanitarian Aid Center. This became possible with the support of foreign partners.

The charity event “Run against violence” was held on October 7 in Uzhgorod. The purpose of the race was to draw the attention of young people to the problem of violence.
