Kyiv
Another 22 Ukrainian soldiers managed to return home from captivity. All of them are soldiers of the Armed Forces, including two officers, enlisted and non-commissioned officers. There are wounded among those released.

Kyiv Oblast
The leader of "Ghosts of Kyiv" Mykhailo Matyushenko from Bucha was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. The President presented the award to his wife and daughter. The legendary pilot died in air combat over the Black Sea on June 26, 2022.

The government has allocated almost UAH 2.5 billion for the reconstruction of Kyiv Oblast. A list of 38 objects, for the restoration of which these funds will be directed, has been approved. These are apartment buildings, kindergartens and schools in various communities.
As a result of the full-scale invasion of the russians, 130 medical institutions were destroyed or damaged in the Kyiv Oblast. To date, 101 has been partially and completely restored.
The consequences of yesterday's bad weather are being eliminated in the Kyiv Oblast. Bucha, Fastiv, Obukhiv raions were the most affected. Strong gusty winds uprooted trees, which destroyed supports and snapped power lines. 34 settlements have been cut off, 6,278 homes remain without electricity.

Zhytomyr Oblast
In 2023, almost 400 citizens of Ukraine from various oblast began their service in the 9th border detachment named after Sich Riflemen in Zhytomyr Oblast.

Chernihiv Oblast
On August 6, border guards recorded 54 explosions in the Chernihiv border detachment. In addition to Snovske, the Novgorod-Siverskyi and Horodnyanka communities also came under fire. In particular, in the Novgorod-Siverskyi community, the occupiers shelled three villages with barrel artillery: Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Bogdaniv and Gremyach. There were 40 parishes in total. Also, two mortar rounds were recorded in the direction of the village of Senkivka of the Horodnya community.
Sumy Oblast
During the day of August 6, the russian army shelled 7 communities of Sumy Oblast, 139 explosions were recorded. There is damage in Seredyno-Buda and Khotyn communities.

During the night and morning of August 7, russian military shelled three communities of Sumy Oblast: Nova Sloboda, Seredino-Buda, and Khotyn. There were no victims and destruction of civil infrastructure.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
The russian military attacked the village of Kucherivka in the Kupyansk community with a guided aerial bomb and hit a house, two people were killed and three were injured.

Donetsk Oblast

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,644 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, wounded another 3,932. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion
Yesterday, 3 streets in Siversk were shelled by the enemy in the Lysychansk direction, and 4 shellings were recorded in the Lyman community.
In the morning, the russians shelled Rai-Olexandrivka of the Mykolaiv community - 6 houses and the administration building were damaged.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

On August 6, rescuers extinguished 10 fires in Vasylivka and Polohy Raions of Zaporizhzhia, which were caused by shelling by the russian army.

Odesa Oblast

The project started last year. This year, «Packages of Kindness» with books and sweets are sent to the children of fallen and captured servicemen.
Vinnytsia Oblast

Zakarpattia Oblast
Transcarpathian rescue specialists have been demining the territory of Snigurivka, Mykolayiv Oblast, for 4 months. They have an area of 217 hectares. These are power lines, gas and water pipelines, fields and infrastructure facilities. 2 thousand 253 explosive objects were removed and neutralized.
In the Zakarpattia Oblast, the first salt was mined within the framework of the development of the Tereblia salt deposit, which is located in the Tyachiv raion. This event is of great importance for the food security of the country and the economic development of the Oblast: the deposit in Transcarpathia will be able to provide Ukraine with 100% of technical and table salt.
