Northern oblasts

Kyiv

Chernihiv Oblast

Border guards recorded three explosions in Mykhalchyna Sloboda, 122 explosions in the direction of the villages of Orlivka and Karpovychi, and 10 explosions in the direction of the village of Yeline.

Sumy Oblast

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Over the past day, the enemy fired at the border and frontline communities of the Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk raions of the oblast.

In particular, Okip, Ohirtseve, Budarky, Vovchansk, Kamianka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Berestove, Kyslivka and other settlements were under enemy fire.

A 51-year-old civilian man was wounded in the village of Kucherivka, Kupiansk Raion, as a result of hostile shelling. He was hospitalized in serious condition.

In the village of Petropavlivka, Kupiansk Raion, a 68-year-old woman was wounded and hospitalized as a result of enemy shelling.

In the village of Lukiantsi, Kharkiv Raion, an educational institution and a 2-storey residential building were damaged.

In the village of Ruska Lozova, Kharkiv Raion, a 73-year-old man hit a Butterfly landmine on the territory of the garden association. He was hospitalized with a blast injury.

Fighting continues in the Kupiansk sector. Over the past day, 44 people, including 19 children and 2 people with disabilities, were evacuated from the communities that are constantly under hostile fire.


Donetsk Oblast

On August 13, russians wounded 2 residents of the Donetsk Oblast — in Toretsk and Siversk.

Since February 24, 2022, the Russians have killed 1,656 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,988. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.


Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

In the Horlivka sector, 2 houses were destroyed in Siversk, and 8 shelling attacks on the Lyman community were recorded.


Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

Bakhmut and bakhmut Raion

Mykolaiv Oblast

In Mykolaiv, the Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanska raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.


Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the past day, the army of the russian federation shelled almost 30 towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast 99 times.

Around 2:00 am, the russian military launched three missile strikes using S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems on the Stepne village of Zaporizhzhia Raion. Two people died, three were saved. Two residential buildings were completely destroyed, two more were damaged. The windows of the neighboring houses were blown out. 


Odesa Oblast

At night, the russian federation attacked the Odesa Oblast three times, launching a total of 15 drones and eight Caliber missiles. Air defense repulsed the attacks, but debris damaged a dormitory of one of the educational institutions and a supermarket. The blast wave damaged windows and balconies in several buildings, and damaged cars parked nearby. Fires broke out at two facilities.

As a result of the russian attack, the "FOZZY" hypermarket in Odesa was completely destroyed and cannot be restored. Three employees were injured, and their condition is stable.

As a result of falling debris and the blastwave, 203 houses were damaged in Odesa, including seven educational institutions: six in Primorsky District and one in Khadzhybeyskyi. Windows and doors were damaged in kindergartens, schools and development centers. 


Kherson Oblast

Yesterday, in the Kherson direction, russian troops attacked three settlements with air, and more than 20 settlements with artillery. Seven people died in the shelling, including two children. 13 were wounded. Today, the Day of Mourning for the Dead has been announced in Kherson and the Oblast.

At night, the russian army struck the residential quarters of Kherson. Three people were injured, they were hospitalized. As a result of the night shelling of Kherson, fires broke out in a high-rise building, a hospital, and warehouses. The fire was extinguished by 63 rescuers and 15 units of equipment until morning. 

In Henichesk and Skadovsk, participants of the "Yellow Ribbon" movement hung 200 posters and painted 10 graffiti. Despite the intimidation of the russian military, local residents are waiting for the armed forces.

The prosecutor's office suspects the director of the Tomyna Balka Lyceum in the Bilozerka community of collaborationism and aiding and abetting the russian federation. She organized the educational process according to russian textbooks, selected employees and students to the educational institution. She faces up to 12 years in prison.


Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

The enemy shelled Nikopol three times with heavy artillery. The shells damaged the buildings of the hotel and restaurant complex, two private residential buildings, an outbuilding, and cut off the power line. The facades, walls, and roof of the buildings have been completely destroyed. The blast wave blew out the windows.

In Dnipro, over 8,000 people were welcomed by the shelter for internally displaced people from the Luhansk Oblast during the year of operation. Currently, 150 IDPs live here. 24 of them are children. In total, the shelter is designed for 200 people.

Over the course of a week, IDPs from the Luhansk Oblast received more than 700 food packages in the Dnipro hub.

The charity fund "Caritas Donetsk" in Dnipro collects stationery for children of people with disabilities, IDPs and military personnel. There are already 150 school sets. Citizens can help not only with school supplies, but also with clothes and other necessary things.

In Dnipro, the artist Olena Murashkina, internally displaced from Mariupol, presented a series of paintings about the horrors of war. 12 canvases about Mariupol were created to remind everyone about the pain that the people of Mariupol feel today.


Poltava Oblast

On the President's website, signatures are being collected on the posthumous awarding of the title of Hero of Ukraine to Serhii Narizhnyi from the Poltava Oblast. The petition was created by the daughter of the fallen defender. 48-year-old Serhii Narizhnyi lived in the village of Velyka Krucha. He served in military unit A7313 and defended the country in the Sumy and Donetsk oblasts. This year, in January, a soldier died during a mortar shelling in the Donetsk Oblast.

The Poltava Oblast, side by side with the rear regions of Ukraine, is restoring settlements in the Kherson Oblast. The villages of Chkalove and Pravdyne are under Poltava patronage. Teams continue to work in 67 households. In total, 25 houses of local residents have already been repaired.

Streets named after russian writers will be renamed in Poltava. Online voting for new names has already started. 54 city streets are next in line.


Vinnytsia Oblast

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a pro-russian Internet agitator in Vinnytsia. The 60-year-old native of Moldova, a resident of the city of Mohyliv-Podilskyi, spread kremlin propaganda and supported a full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.

In the city of Hnivan in Vinnytsia Oblast, a floristry workshop was held for the wives of the fallen defenders. Poppies, sunflowers, dried flowers, wheat and rye were used for bouquets. The event was organized by a local resident.


Western Oblasts

Rivne Oblast

Rivne authorities are looking for new investors in the region's agriculture. Thus, the head of oblast military administration met with local entrepreneurs and discussed mutually beneficial cooperation between producers and processors. The question of scaling the enterprise "Milk of the Motherland" in the Rivne Oblast was also considered. The goal is to help them find a place to build an innovative farm for 4,000 cows.

Children's camp "Artek Bukovel" accepted pupils from the orphanage in the Rivne Oblast. Nine children with their parents-educators are resting and recuperating in the Carpathians. With the assistance of the Olena Zelenska Foundation, they were provided with separate housing. A special program was also developed for them.


Volyn Oblast

Reconstruction of the administrative building for housing for internally displaced persons has started in Kovel. Also, a high-rise building for IDPs will be built in the city. All works are financed by international organizations. Currently, it is about a hundred apartments in two facilities.

In the village of Lypyny in the Lutsk Raion, volunteers make periscopes for the military. This is an optical device that allows soldiers to observe an object located in a horizontal plane without risking their lives. Details are printed on a 3D printer. Currently, volunteers are making another batch of devices. Defenders on the front line are already waiting for these periscopes.


Khmelnytskyi Oblast

The Khmelnytskyi Oblast continues the restoration of residential objects damaged as a result of the armed russian aggression. This is happening within the framework of the "Side by Side" presidential project.

The cost of ongoing repair work for 257 households is UAH 93.4 million. 11 enterprises, 136 employees from the Khmelnytskyi Oblast work daily at 22 facilities.

In the Khmelnytskyi Oblast, the servicemen of the territorial procurement center, which helped the "evaders", were detained. Entering into a criminal conspiracy with doctors, he contributed to the exclusion of potential conscripts from the lists on the basis of health. Also, the "evaders" were given a certificate of unfitness for further service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The military man was detained and announced as suspected of abuse of influence.


Chernivtsi Oblast

Victor Otkydach, Dmytro Roshka and Viktor Tymchuk, soldiers from the Sokyriany community, were posthumously awarded the orders "For Courage" of the III degree.

Local doctors fight serious illnesses and help the military. 70 employees of the Bukovyna Clinical Oncology Center donated blood, which is desperately needed by defenders on the front lines.

The Kamiana community once again sent humanitarian cargo for people who suffered from the war. 220 grocery sets, 180 filters for water purification, 20 cots, 40 sets of bed linen, sets with personal hygiene products and household chemicals were handed over to the village of Zoria, the Nikopol Raion, the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

In Novodnistrovsk, a collection of works by the soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, resident of the city Eduard Holenko, who fought and died near Bakhmut, was published and is being sold. The proceeds will be directed to the needs of the 107th separate brigade of the 97th separate battalion of the Territorial Defense forces.


Ternopil Oblast

Benefactors from Sweden handed over 8 buses to the Ternopil Oblast, which will be used to transport schoolchildren. These are modern buses with automatic transmissions.
