Northern oblasts

Kyiv Oblast

On the night of August 14-15, the enemy once again tried to launch a missile attack on the Kyiv Oblast. The air raid alert lasted for more than 2 hours. The Air Defense Forces were active in the oblast. No hits to critical or residential infrastructure were recorded. There is no information about casualties or falling debris.

In the Irpin community, almost 1,000 buildings and facilities have been fully or partially restored with preservation of their functional purpose. In total, more than 3,300 structures were damaged there. Among them, more than 3,100 are residential buildings.

Chernihiv Oblast

Within the boundaries of the Novhorod-Siversk community, the Ukrainian military stopped an attempt to cross the state border by two russian subversive and reconnaissance groups. According to preliminary data, these subversive and reconnaissance groups consisted of five and seven militants, respectively. After suffering casualties, they withdrew in the opposite direction. 

On August 14, russian troops shelled the Semenivka and Novhorod-Siversk communities. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to infrastructure.

On August 14, on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, the commander of the AFU Ground Forces Training Command and Hero of Ukraine Viktor Nikoliuk awarded the military personnel who defended Chernihiv in February-March 2022. The "Golden Cross" insignia were awarded to drivers who evacuated people under shelling, brought ammunition to positions, and communicators who had to promptly repair communications, and also delivered basic necessities to the besieged city "by the road of life".

Sumy Oblast

On August 14, 156 explosions were recorded in the Sumy Oblast as a result of 22 shelling attacks from the territory of russia. Seven communities of the oblast came under fire. According to preliminary information, there were no injuries or damage.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Over the past day, the enemy shelled 12 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast, which are located near the line of contact.

The settlements of Strilecha, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Volokhivka, Okhrimivka, Dvorichna, and Kamianka came under mortar and artillery fire.

The Kupiansk sector suffers the most from the shelling attacks. The enemy fired at Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka, and Berestove. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. 

In the Kharkiv Raion, in the village of Hlyboke, two country houses burned down as a result of shelling by the occupiers. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

According to the Oblast Center for Emergency Medical Assistance, a 58-year-old woman was wounded in the city of Balaklia when she stepped on an explosive device. She is hospitalized in moderate condition. 

Humanitarian demining of the territories of the oblast continues. Over the past day, pyrotechnics destroyed 47 explosive devices.

Donetsk Oblast

On August 14, russians killed 1 resident of the Donetsk Oblast – in Prechystivka. Four more people were wounded in the oblast during the day.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, russian weapons have killed 1,657 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 4,002 people. The number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

Last day, 1 person was wounded in the Lysychansk sector in Yampil of the Lyman community; a house was destroyed in Torske. In the Zvanivka community, 6 houses were damaged in Zvanivka and 1 in Pereizne.

As a result of nighttime russian missile attacks on Kramatorsk, civilian infrastructure was damaged: 4 multi-apartment residential buildings and a service station building were damaged at Stankobud. The warehouse of the wholesale base, and the production premises of the industrial enterprise were destroyed. A total of 2,400 square meters of the building burned down. Two people were killed and one more was wounded.

In the morning, russia attacked Sloviansk in the Donetsk Oblast, according to preliminary data, with S-300 missiles, hitting a factory. There were no casualties.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the Donetsk sector, the enemy shelled Avdiivka twice with Grad MLRS in the morning. Soloviove in the Ocheretyne community, and Krasnohorivka in the Maryinka community came under fire.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Horlivka sector, 1 person was wounded and 5 houses and an infrastructure facility were damaged in the Toretsk community. In the Soledar community, Vasiukivka and Rozdolivka were shelled. In the=he Kostiantynivka community, Predtechyne is under fire.

The police evacuated two families with children from the frontline settlements Zalizne and Pivnichne, Bakhmut Raion. After the evacuation of the girl from Zalizne, police officers from the White Angels unit presented her with a cake for her birthday, which the 6-year-old child could not celebrate because of the shelling.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

In the Volnovakha sector, one person was killed in Prechystivka. Bohoyavlenka, Novoukrainka, and Vuhledar are under fire.

Luhansk Oblast

In preparation for the fall draft, the military enlistment offices in the occupied territories are checking the available conscripts at enterprises and other institutions. In particular, in Starobilsk, the occupation authorities have already obliged all men at the enterprises to undergo a medical examination and register for military service. Meanwhile, in Svatove, the invaders demand that the representatives of the administrations and village councils, who did not live up to the trust placed in them, resign from their positions of their own free will.

Southern oblasts

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The russian army fired 107 times at almost 30 towns and villages in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast over the past day, August 14.

On the morning of August 15, the russian army shelled the village of Stepne in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The missile hit the stadium of the gymnasium. The building of the educational institution, residential buildings, and the building of the kindergarten were damaged. One woman received minor injuries. A shootout broke out between the kadyriv and dagestan troops in the temporarily captured settlement of Mykhailivka in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. As a result, 20 were killed and 40 wounded, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported.

Odesa Oblast

Kherson Oblast

This afternoon, the russian army opened fire on the center of Kherson. The consequences are clarified.

A man was detained in Kherson, who is suspected of aiding the russian federation. During the occupation of the city, he "headed" the legal department of Ukrposhta and formalized the transfer of the material base in favor of the occupation authorities. The suspect is in custody, he faces up to 12 years in prison.

A humanitarian cargo with slate and sand was sent to the Dariivka community in the Kherson Oblast. It was handed over with the support of the "Revival Morning" charitable foundation. To get materials, you need to contact the village council.

In the Kherson Oblast, in Posad-Pokrovsky, the first houses were built as part of an experimental project to rebuild the village after the invasion of the russian federation. The works are planned to be completed before the new year.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

At 4 o'clock in the morning, the russian military attacked the city of Dnipro. Three people were injured, including a 70-year-old man hospitalized in a moderate condition. As a result of the attack, the Meteor sports complex, where children were engaged, was damaged. The enemy also targeted an industrial enterprise, and a fire broke out. Windows were blown out in nearby residential buildings and schools. Also, as a result of the missile attack, the humanitarian headquarters, where the displaced persons were being helped, was damaged. At the same time, 7 missiles were shot down over the oblast.

As of today, almost UAH 44 million in material aid to residents of apartments and private houses damaged or destroyed as a result of russian attacks has been paid from the city budget of Kryvyi Rih.

Poltava Oblast

The Department for Reintegration, Social Protection of Veterans and Internally Displaced Persons has started work in the regional administration. The focus of the activity of the new structural division is the development of the veteran movement in the Poltava Oblast, the development and coordination of programs to support the military. It is about rehabilitation of war veterans, socialization and reintegration into society.

DIIA (Activity) Business organizes intensives, lectures and consultations for immigrants. The goal is to help them get a job. For this, the majority have to retrain, learn new professions that are more in demand on the labor market.

Cherkasy Oblast

Early this morning, the city of Smila came under rocket fire. Among the affected objects are the territory of a medical institution and a private enterprise. There were no casualties, but a kilometer-long water main was damaged. The heating network also needs repair. 12,000 residents were left without water supply.

In Cherkasy Oblast, a pilot project for the families of seriously wounded and dead defenders is already at the finish line. It is about a residential building. This is a joint initiative of the regional military administration and Cherkasy entrepreneurs. Today, internal works are being completed here, landscaping of the territory, apartments are being furnished with the most necessary things. The house has two floors, a shelter, and meets the norms of inclusiveness.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Vinnytsia energy companies restored the 35 kV power transmission line in the Kherson Oblast. The residents of Vinnytsia helped their colleagues to repair energy supply facilities destroyed as a result of shelling and flooding for six weeks.

Western oblasts

Rivne Oblast

Rivne volunteers of the "Club Lapa" charitable foundation accepted three waves of evacuation of animals from Toretsk, which is being shelled by the russian army. Almost all of them found new owners. Currently, the fourth wave of evacuation is being planned, but so far it has not been possible to take the animals from the front-line area to the Rivne Oblast.

Volyn Oblast

At dawn, the russian army fired two cruise missiles at an industrial facility in Lutsk. Three workers of the factory's night shift were killed, three more were injured. One of the workshops was destroyed.

During the liquidation of the consequences of a missile attack on an industrial enterprise in Lutsk, one of the workers was rescued from the rubble.

After the missile hit and the death of people, artillerymen of the 100th Territorial Defense Brigade wrote the message "For Lutsk" on 155 mm projectiles."

Lviv Oblast

Six russian missiles hit the Lviv Oblast, one more was shot down by Air Defense Forces. 19 people were injured, including a ten-year-old child. Five of them were hospitalized.

In Lviv, a russian missile hit a children's playground. Residential buildings and kindergartens were also damaged by debris. All the windows there are broken. People whose homes were damaged will be provided with temporary housing.

In the village of Stavchany, 15 residential buildings in the private sector were damaged as a result of a missile attack. 6 of them were critically affected. In the village of Suhovolia, four residential buildings in the private sector were damaged by missile fragments.

 

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

In the Khmelnytskyi Oblast, the Air Defense Forces worked. As a result of the night shelling by the russian army, there were no injuries or casualties.

Kamianets-Podilskyi

Another car for the defenders from Kamianets, bought at the expense of the community, went to the front line.

At the 32nd extraordinary session of the city council, deputies increased the aid limits of the program "Supporting the activities of military personnel of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Territorial Community for 2023" initiated by the mayor last year to UAH 15 million and additionally allocated UAH 1.3 million for the needs of the military.

Colonel Volodymyr Rodikov called on the people of Kamianets to raise as many state flags as possible on the houses, apartments, balconies and offices for the Day of the State Flag. The mayor supported this initiative and also called on the community to join such a patriotic action.

Patrons of the charitable fund "MiSt" named after M. Savenko has already presented the community with 52 energy-saving lanterns. The founder of the fund, Dmytro Savenko, and the president, Serhii Isaienko, note that this is a gift to the city for the Independence Day of Ukraine.

Chernivtsi Oblast 

In Bukovyna, the channel of illegal departure of men abroad was blocked. This scheme was organized by two residents of the Chernivtsi Oblast. Among them is a law enforcement officer.

Volunteers of the Vanchikovtsi community went to Donbas again. This time they brought food and warm things to the front line. They also handed over a new "war bird" - a drone that will help in important missions on the battlefield.

A fair in support of wounded compatriot soldiers was organized in the village of Lenkivtsi, in the Kelmentsi community. During the event, UAH 20 thousand were collected.

In the village of Myhovo, a "Volunteer-camp" was held for 32 participants from the Velykyi Kuchuriv, Nedoboivtsi, Storozhynets and Chernivtsi communities. They learned to draw up a map of the needs of the internally displaced people, the basics of non-verbal communication and public speaking, and also tried out cohesion exercises.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

Today, a social and psychological support office was opened in Ivano-Frankivsk, which will work on the basis of the city center of social services for families, children and youth.

Children from the families of Ukrainian defenders and fallen Heroes, together with their guardians, went on a week's vacation to the island of Trakai (Lithuania). This is the last trip of the season. During the summer, the children visited Rybnik (Poland) twice, Okhota (Poland) once, and Niredgaza (Hungary). Such trips are possible thanks to the sister cities of Ivano-Frankivsk.

Ternopil Oblast

In Ternopil, the exhibition "Let's create, introduce, learn" was organized on the Teatralny Maidan. 9 children of IDPs and military personnel presented their photo works.
