The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi visited the Kupyansk raion. He arrived to familiarize himself with the situation and the state of execution of combat tasks on the spot.

Donetsk Oblast

On October 19, the russian military shelled nine settlements in Donetsk Oblast 11 times during October 19 and damaged residential buildings, a school, a shop, and power lines, the regional police said.

Odesa Oblast

A mine was discovered near the coast of Chornomorsk. Sappers arrived at the scene.

Around 4:00 am, the russian army attacked two settlements in Kherson Oblast with aircraft. Four bombs were dropped on Zmiivka and two more on Novoberyslav. Information on casualties and destruction is being updated.

At around 8:00, russian military launched an air strike on Beryslav in Kherson Oblast. An 80-year-old woman was killed. In total, the russian army dropped four guided bombs on the city.

During his working visit to Kherson Oblast, Volodymyr Zelenskyi visited one of the units of the Kherson Border Guard Detachment. The President held a meeting with the military. He also congratulated the border guards on the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Intelligence Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and awarded them.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Five attacks were registered in the region over the last day. Russians fired two missiles at the settlements of Dnipro Raion. One of them caught fire as a result of the attack. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

In Nikopol Raion, the occupants fired from heavy artillery. They hit the district center and the Marhanets community. In the latter, a gymnasium, a club, and an infrastructure facility were damaged.

In total, 10 local houses and 5 outbuildings were damaged in the area. In addition, 2 cars, a dozen solar panels, and power lines were damaged.

At the site of the rocket attack on the outskirts of Dnipro, the rubble is being cleared: 10 trucks of construction waste have already been removed. More than 70 people came to help the locals. Broken windows are being covered with film provided by benefactors. Foreign partners are providing psychological support to the families. 

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a serviceman who passed data on the location of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment and soldiers to russia will be tried. He was charged with treason.

Kirovohrad Oblast

Cherkasy Oblast

The canine center of the Cherkasy police received three service dogs from abroad. Law enforcement officers were also given ammunition, training equipment, and boxes for transporting dogs. This was implemented on the initiative of the “Howard Buffett Foundation”, which has already provided Ukraine with 100 service dogs of the “German Shepherd” and “Malinois” breeds. Poltava Oblast

A memorial plaque was installed in Poltava in memory of Svyatoslav Pashinsky. It was opened near the art school, where the soldier taught the art of ceramics and sculpture for more than 20 years. Three days before his death, Svyatoslav Pashynskyi saved his brother, although he himself was wounded.

In Shyshaky, the monument “fighters for soviet power” was dismantled. The red army soldiers and the obelisk with soviet symbols were transported to the “Museum of Monumental Art of the Totalitarian Era” reserve in Sumy Oblast.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Volyn Oblast

In Lviv Oblast, more than a thousand people received vouchers for training. Psychology, secondary education, social work and nursing prevailed among the specialties in which they decided to improve their professional competence.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Volunteers from Khmelnytskyi are converting two former mail trucks from Germany into specialized cars for the front. One van is being converted into a car repair shop, and the other is being turned into a bathhouse on wheels. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, volunteers have already sent two dozen converted vehicles to the front.

From 30 to 400 parcels are sent every Friday by “Volunteer Post” from Khmelnytskyi to military personnel on the front lines. And so from the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine. Donations are brought by relatives of the military, and volunteers collect the help requested by the defenders.

Ternopil Oblast

In the Ternopil Oblast, a memorial plaque was opened in Pidvolochysk to the fallen serviceman Ruslan Vodolazkyi. He went to the front in April 2022. He served as a sapper of an engineering and sapper platoon. He died in October 2022. Eternal glory to the Hero.
