Kyiv

By the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, Kyiv will pay almost 35 million hryvnias of targeted one-time financial assistance. Additional financial assistance from the city under the program "Care. Towards Kyivans" program will be provided to almost 36 thousand residents of the capital. These include family members of servicemen who defended the territorial integrity of Ukraine and participated in the ATO/JFO, who were killed or went missing; Kyiv residents who received disabilities of groups I, II and III as a result of the war; Kyiv residents who took part in the Revolution of Dignity; as well as family members of Kyiv residents who died during the Revolution of Dignity.

The Security Service of Ukraine detained collaborators who were adjusting the attacks on Kyiv on September 21. The day before, the detainees sent coordinates for the russians to attack the city. The occupiers were interested in the capital's vital infrastructure, including power generating facilities. The perpetrators were two locals. They currently face life imprisonment. The investigation is ongoing.

Kyiv Oblast

As part of his official visit to Ukraine, Wolfgang Sobotka, President of the National Council of Austria, visited Irpin. He met with community members at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. After the de-occupation of Irpin, hundreds of people in need came and still come here to receive humanitarian aid. In cooperation with the church, such support is provided by the Austrian charitable organization Caritas. 

A modern kindergarten is being built in Irpin to replace the one destroyed during hostilities. As a result of a direct hit by a shell, part of the building was completely destroyed, the facade, walls and the roof were damaged, windows and doors were smashed, playgrounds were ruined, and electrical networks were destroyed. The institution is being restored at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. The plans include the construction of a new building to replace the destroyed one, the construction of sports and playgrounds, exterior and interior decoration, installation of windows and doors, and the use of energy-saving technologies.

In Bucha, the restoration of a high-rise building on Vokzalna Street has begun at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. The overhaul of the residential facility involves the installation of an inter-floor ceilings, insulation and finishing of the building's facade, replacement of the metal profile roofing over commercial premises, as well as windows and balcony stained glass windows that were damaged.

Zhytomyr Oblast

As part of the government project "Side by Side", restoration work continues in the village of Tryfonivka in the Kherson Oblast. Thanks to the efforts of repair crews from the Zhytomyr Oblast, Tryfonivka residents have the opportunity to return to their homes. Roofs, facades and electrical wiring have been replaced. Modern metal-plastic windows and doors were also installed.  

The oblast authorities met with Estonian partners who are helping to reform vocational education in Zhytomyr. The goal is to analyze the network of vocational and technical education institutions and plan its development based on the city and oblast development strategy.

Chernihiv Oblast

On September 26, russian troops shelled the border areas of the Chernihiv Oblast four times. Border guards recorded 73 explosions on the territories of the Semenivka and Horodnia communities.

Sumy Oblast

During the day of September 26, the russian military shelled 5 communities of the Sumy Oblast, 70 explosions were recorded. Three private houses and two outbuildings were damaged.

On the night of September 27, the russian army shelled the Krasnopillia and Seredyna-Buda communities in the Sumy Oblast. 18 explosions were recorded.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy shelled the civilian population of the Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Kupiansk, and Izium raions. 

As a result of the shelling attack on the town of Vovchansk, Chuhuiv Raion, a 65-year-old man was wounded and hospitalized in serious condition. A residential building and outbuildings were damaged in the town, and a wildfire broke out.

In the urban-type settlement of Vilcha and the village of Lyman in the Chuhuiv Raion, private houses and outbuildings were damaged by hostile shelling. In the village of Synelnykove, Chuhuiv Raion, two private houses, outbuildings and a private car were damaged.

In the town of Borova, Izium Raion, a wildfire broke out due to shelling. Winter wheat crops were damaged in the village of Pidlyman, Izium Raion.

As a result of the shelling of Kupiansk, a fire broke out in an open area, and infrastructure was damaged.

Besides, the villages of Odnorobivka, Lemishchyne, and Udy in the Bohodukhiv Raion, Volokhiv Yar in the Izium Raion, the village of Vesele in the Kharkiv Raion and other settlements were under fire.

Donetsk Oblast

Over the past day, the russian army destroyed 22 residential buildings, a bus station, trade pavilions, an enterprise and a hangar. In total, the occupying forces attacked six cities and villages of the Donetsk Oblast.

On September 25, the russians wounded one resident of the Donetsk Oblast.

In total, since the day of the full-scale war, russian weapons have claimed the lives of 1,722 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and 4,173 people have been injured. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

russian troops destroyed or damaged 66 sports facilities in the Donetsk Oblast. These are stadiums, sports complexes, etc. Damage was previously estimated at 3.5 billion hryvnias.

In the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk Oblast, the russians are preparing so-called "licenses" for the extraction of minerals in order to legalize the theft of natural resources, reports the Center of National Resistance.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Oblast

In the Lysychansk direction in Zvanivka, one house was destroyed, four more were damaged. In Siversk, there are six streets in the affected area.

15 private houses were damaged in Kostiantynivka.

No demonstrative renovations took place in the city even before the so-called "first elections". Therefore, local residents were offered to repair their homes themselves. Boards, nails and slate can be issued in limited quantities in the occupation administration.

The inhabitants of Rubizhne, like the residents of Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk, live without mobile communications and the Internet. The closest place from where you can call your relatives is Varvarivka.

Mykolaiv Oblast

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The russian army made 130 strikes on the cities and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast yesterday. Orikhove, Robotyne and Mala Tokmachka suffered four airstrikes. Almost two dozen front-line settlements were shelled by MLRS, drone attacks, and artillery fire.

A 66-year-old resident of Orikhove was killed, and a 56-year-old man from Prymorske was injured as a result of russian artillery fire during the past day.

One person was killed and another was injured as a result of fires caused by russian shelling in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

All children were evacuated from five front-line settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. In particular, from Huliaipole, the urban-type settlement of Stepnohirsk, as well as Preobrazhenka, Yehorivka, and Novopavlivka.

Kherson Oblast

The army of the russian federation shelled the Kherson Oblast 119 times yesterday. They targeted residential areas, educational and medical institutions, and a penitentiary. 12 people were injured.

During the day, 18 fires broke out in the Kherson and Beryslav raions due to the attacks of the russian army. Residential buildings, farm buildings and cafe premises were on fire. All fires were extinguished.

In the morning, the russian army dropped eight guided aerial bombs on Mykolaivka and two on Olhivka of the Kherson Oblast. There is destruction, information about the victims is being clarified.

Another attack of the russian army on Beryslav, the russian military dropped four guided aerial bombs on the city. The hospital building and farm buildings were damaged. There are no casualties or injuries.

Odesa Oblast

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Two men, 44 and 68 years old, were injured as a result of shelling of the Nikopol Raion by russian troops on the night of September 27. Both are in hospital in a moderate condition. A fire broke out in a two-story building, which has already been extinguished. A private enterprise, 6 private houses, cars, gas furnaces and power lines were damaged. 4 outbuildings were also damaged, and 1 was completely destroyed.

The Air Defense Forces shot down a russian army drone over the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in the morning on September 27. Previously, it was a ZALA reconnaissance drone.

About 60,000 internally displaced people have been employed in Dnipro since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The number of unemployed is now 1,200.

In Dnipro, the training of the first candidates in the oblast to become veteran's assistants has started. The training course for future veteran service and support specialists will last three weeks and include six core modules. 21 people will pass it.

Poltava Oblast

In the Lubny Raion, at the site of the explosion, where the main gas pipeline depressurized yesterday, gas remains are burning. The rescuers eliminate the fire of dry grass. The situation is under control.

38 power stations and two batteries were handed over for the needs of the military from the Poltava community. The equipment was allocated from the material reserve of the oblast. Power supplies will help soldiers perform combat tasks.

Special vehicles for the provision of mobile social services were handed over to four communities of the Poltava Oblast. The vehicles are equipped with tools for, for example, quick repairs or provision of household services to groups of the population with reduced mobility and residents of remote areas. The Poltava Oblast became the 3rd region that was provided with such cars within the framework of the UNDP project in Ukraine "EU4Recovery - Expanding the opportunities of communities in Ukraine".

Cherkasy Oblast

Deceased soldier Nariman Seitmemetov was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree by presidential decree. The defender was born and grew up in the Ukrainian Crimea. After its occupation, he moved to Cherkasy, where he was buried.

Cherkasy rescuers have destroyed more than 40,000 explosive devices since the start of the full-scale war. They had to work in the south and east. Rescuers have mastered new robotic equipment for humanitarian demining, provided by international partners.

Cherkasy defenders saved the ancient icons during the shelling. It happened in the Bakhmut area, the participants of the operation said.. Some of them are damaged by fire, but still valuable.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Four fallen defenders from Vinnytsia were awarded the Orders "For Courage" (posthumously). The soldiers were residents of the Kryzhopil community. Awards were handed over to their families.

The people of Vinnytsia sent another humanitarian shipment to the Kherson Oblast. The community of the village of Kalynivske will receive construction materials and a fire engine.

In more than 150 high-rise buildings in Vinnytsia, a system of automatic opening of locks in bomb shelters was installed. Vinnytsia became the first city in Ukraine to introduce the system.

Vinnytsia Oblast Children's Clinical Hospital received medical equipment worth almost UAH 300,000. The audiometer for diagnosing hearing impairment in children was donated by the charity organization "Ronald McDonald's House Foundation in Ukraine", which has been cooperating with the medical facility since 2018. Thanks to the new equipment, hearing impairment will be diagnosed in children from the age of three.

Western Oblasts

Chernivtsi Oblast

The military serviceman Oleksandr Anikulaiesi from Bukovyna was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.

The Chernivtsi Oblast center of emergency medical aid and disaster medicine received six powerful generators from benefactors. They were handed over by a separate unit of the "Opera S. Francesco Saverio Ukraine" (Medici con l'Africa Cuamm). The generators will be sent to remote communities of the oblast to ensure uninterrupted power supply to health care centers in winter.

Volunteers from the Vanchykovtsi community delivered aid to defenders in the Kherson Oblast. These are warm things, food, medicine.

Since the beginning of the year, 177 residents of Bukovyna have received a positive decision to receive a micro-grant within the framework of the government program eRobota "Own business". Grant funds will help 23 applicants to start their own business, and the rest - 147 entrepreneurs and 7 legal entities - to expand their business.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

For almost 3 months, construction crews from the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast worked in the Kherson Oblast in the village of Davydiv Brid. Their task is to help with the restoration of residential buildings. To date, 6 houses have been completely renovated, 5 more buildings have roofs covered and facade repairs are being completed.

Ternopil Oblast

Ternopil writer and public figure Oleh Herman collected UAH 60,000 for the needs of the Ukrainian army by painting shell casings. He began to do this during a full-scale war.

88-year-old Yaryna Ruzheniuk, a resident of the village of Velyki Zahaitsi, weaves round rugs every day. Their family sells them, and gives part of the money to the army.

Zakarpattia Oblast

57 lieutenants, graduates of military training universities, took part in training in the Mukachevo Raion. Classes were held for them in tactical medicine, mine safety and drone control. The training was conducted to improve the skills of officers.
