Northern oblasts

Kyiv

Yesterday in Kyiv, during the Ukraine-EU summit, the parties discussed sanctions against russia's missile program, the expansion of energy and personal sanctions. The parties agreed on the need to create a legal mechanism to hold russia accountable. Also, the EU representatives undertook to provide political, military and humanitarian support for as long as it is needed. The EU will also support Ukraine financially.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko gave an interview to journalists of a German newspaper right from the crater left in the capital after the hit of the russian Kinzhal missile.

In Kyiv, they said goodbye to one of the defenders of Mariupol, a soldier of the Azov regiment, Oleksiy Kisilishin. He was killed during a terrorist attack in Olenivka.


Kyiv Oblast

In the schools of the Kyiv Oblast, regular mine safety classes are held. They are primarily held in the communities where hostilities took place. During these classes, students and teachers are taught the correct actions to take in the event of a mine hazard. The classes are organized by the Democracy Promotion Fund of the US Embassy in Ukraine in partnership with the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration.


Zhytomyr Oblast

In Zhytomyr Lyceum No. 20, they said goodbye to 25-year-old serviceman Huseyn Samedov, who fell defending Ukraine. Huseyn Samedov was killed on January 27 during artillery shelling in the Luhansk Oblast. Eternal glory to the Hero.

Zhytomyr volunteers, together with their foreign partners, handed over an ambulance to Zhytomyr Hospital No. 2 named after V.P. Pavlusenko. This is the fourth ambulance that foreigners have delivered to Zhytomyr since the beginning of the full-scale war.

One thousand pillows, fifty pairs of work gloves, more than 100 sets of bed linen, and one hundred pairs of warm socks for the military have been sewn and knitted by volunteers of the Zhytomyr branch of the All-Ukrainian charitable organization "Care for the Elderly in Ukraine" over the past five months. 32 women aged 59 to 82 work in the workshop every day.


Chernihiv Oblast

In the Nosivka Raion, they said goodbye to soldier Heorhiy Kaadze, who was killed in action in the Donetsk Oblast.


Sumy Oblast

Yesterday evening, russians shelled the territory of the Bilopillia community. A total of 20 hits were recorded.


Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy shelled the border settlements of the Chuhuiv, Kupiansk, and Kharkiv raions of the oblast.

In particular, Vovchansk, Kupiansk, Dvorichna, Ohirtseve and other settlements were under fire.

In Kupiansk, the infrastructure of a civil enterprise was damaged.

In the settlement of Dvorichna, a direct hit was recorded to an apartment on the second floor of a residential building. Private houses and outbuildings were also damaged. There were no casualties.


Donetsk Oblast

On the night of February 4, the russian army launched two missile attacks on the outskirts of Kramatorsk. Avdiivka, Kurakhivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk and other settlements came under fire. Residential buildings, educational institutions, and administrative buildings were destroyed. There are dead and wounded among the civilians.

On February 3, two people were killed and 14 others were wounded in the Donetsk Oblast as a result of shelling by the russian army.

Since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 1,346 people have been killed and 2983 wounded in the Donetsk Oblast. It is impossible to establish the exact number of dead and wounded in Volnovakha and Mariupol.


Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Bakhmut sector, Spirne, Vesele, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, New York, and Druzhba came under shelling.

One person was killed and seven wounded in Toretsk in the Horlivka sector. In the town, 34 houses, 2 kindergartens, an outpatient clinic, a library, the center for administrative services, the house of culture, a newspaper office, and the building of Ukrposhta were damaged. Three more people were wounded in Bakhmut; a high-rise building and an administrative building were damaged. Intense shelling continues in Paraskoviivka of the Soledar community, resulting in numerous damages.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Verkhniokamianske, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, and Ivanivske of the Donetsk Oblast.


Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the east of Pokrovsk raion, 3 people were wounded and 8 houses were damaged in Kurakhivka.

In the morning, there was a massive shelling of the old part of Avdiivka, and Tonenke, Vodiane, Novomykhailivka, Heorhiivka, and Maryinka came under enemy fire.

On February 3, Pokrovsk was shelled at night. There were no casualties, but houses were damaged. Local authorities, utility companies, and humanitarian organizations, including the Proliska humanitarian mission, which cooperates with the UN, are helping the residents of Pokrovsk.

As part of the UN humanitarian mission, representatives of the NGO Prolisok are launching a project in Pokrovsk to distribute building materials to residents of residential buildings affected by shelling, as well as food packages and non-food items for vulnerable people.

Residents of remote villages in the Pokrovsk community were delivered bottled water. The assistance was provided by the NEW WAY Charitable Foundation with the support of German Doctors as part of the project "Providing targeted multidisciplinary assistance to people affected by the war, including IDPs, in the Dnipro and Donetsk oblasts". Residents will receive 2 bottles of water per person.


Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

In Volnovakha direction, Vuhledar, and Novoukrainka were shelled, and no one was injured.


Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

The night before, russians launched two more rocket attacks on the outskirts of Kramatorsk, damaging outbuildings. There were no casualties.

In Lysychansk direction, about 20 attacks on Torske and Zarichne of the Lyman community were recorded.

In Lyman direction, Terny and Torske in the Donetsk oblast were shelled.


Southern Oblasts

Odesa Oblast

In the morning, an accident occurred at one of the key energy infrastructure facilities in Odesa raion, leaving 500,000 subscribers in Odesa and Odesa oblast without electricity. This is the second major accident at the substation in the last 24 hours. The equipment that broke down had previously been attacked by the russian army. Its technical capacity has reached the end. A rescue operation involving the State Emergency Service is currently underway, and power engineers are trying to restore the power supply.

Within a day, all powerful generators available to the Ministry of Energy will be delivered to Odesa, as well as a 25 MW gas turbine power plant provided by partners from the United States, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal. The Foreign Ministry is also planning to ask Turkey for additional support in the form of power plants.

A former military officer suspected of collaborating with russia's fsb was detained in Odesa. According to the SBU, he was passing on information to the russians about the Ukrainian Armed Forces' preparations in the south and exercises in the Black Sea. As a reward, he was promised help to buy an apartment in the temporarily occupied Crimea.


Mykolaiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy fired from multiple rocket launchers at the settlement and the water area of the Ochakiv community. As a result, residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged. There were no casualties.

Also, the enemy attacked the Kutsurub community with cannon artillery yesterday. There were no destructions or casualties.


Kherson Oblast

Over the past 24 hours, russian troops shelled the coastal areas and four neighborhoods of Kherson. The shelling killed a security guard of an enterprise and injured civilians. The police of the Kherson oblast opened 59 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes of the russian occupiers.

During the day on February 3, the russian army shelled six communities in Beryslav raion. Three people were injured in Burhunka, Kachkarivka, and Zolota Balka.

Kherson museum workers identified three more paintings stolen by russian occupiers. In the photos from the Simferopol Museum, art historians recognized the paintings by Mykola Glushchenko, Viktor Zaretskyi, and Feliks Kider from the Art Museum's collections.

The Orlove-Ivanivka highway is being restored in Kherson oblast. During the hostilities, the road surface was severely damaged, with mines and unexploded ammunition on the road. After demining, restoration work began and is expected to be completed by mid-February.  

Kherson Children's Regional Hospital received a vehicle to provide palliative care for children. The car was purchased with donations from the Czech Republic after a fundraising campaign. Now children with chronic diseases will receive palliative care on an outpatient basis.


Central oblasts

Poltava Oblast

In Poltava, a street named after Marshal Biriuzov is being renamed. He is a Soviet military commander who took an active part in the battles of the Second World War. Among the options were the following names: Levko Lukyanenko Street, Oleg Olzhych Street, Reshetylivka Street, General Gennady Kotliar Street.

A meeting with the writer and director Iryna Tsilyk took place in Poltava. She is known for her debut film "The Earth is Blue, Like an Orange", which tells the true story of a family from a Ukrainian city that was invaded by war.


Khmelnytskyi Oblast

In Kamianets-Podilskyi, patrol cars inform about air danger through loudspeakers, because during an air alert in those areas where there is no light, the automated notification system does not work.

Defenders from Khmelnytskyi will receive a mobile bath and laundry complex. The car is modernly equipped. There is an electric generator, a water heating system and a submersible pump for supplying water from any reservoir. In addition, the car contains a shower room for four people, four washing machines, a dry machine for drying underwear and clothes and essentials.

In the village of Hrushka of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Raion, located in Tovtry near Podilskyi - Bakota tourist zone, a monument to the russian general Suvorov was dismantled. 


Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

That night, the russians shelled the Marganets community in the Nikopol Raion with heavy artillery, firing a dozen shells at it. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

53-year-old sergeant Oleksandr Shemet from the Kamianske Raion died in the fight for Ukraine's independence. He is survived by two children, a mother, a sister and brothers. Oleksandr Perov from Kryvyi Rih died near Bakhmut.

Three alleged agents of the russian federation were detained in Dnipro. According to the investigation, after the full-scale invasion, three pro-russian residents of the Oblast voluntarily agreed to help representatives of the russian special services. The suspects transmitted information through closed communication channels. For their cooperation, they were promised positions in the occupation authorities. 

The higher anti-corruption court confiscated the Demurinsky mining and processing plant from the russian oligarch Mikhail Shelkov. This enterprise in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast mined titanium ores and exported them to russia. Rockets are made from titanium, with which the russians have been shelling Ukraine for 9 years. The enterprise belonged to a russian through an offshore firm from Cyprus.

Football fans of "Dnipro" raffled off a tube from the "Caesar" self-propelled artillery vehicle with Petrykivka painting for the aid of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To participate in the lottery, you need to make a donation of UAH 250 or more to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Work mittens for the military are sewn from jeans in the Dnipro library. Almost every day local craftswomen work at sewing machines to protect the hands of our soldiers from the cold and injuries.

Residents of Dnipro organized a recycling station on their own initiative. The new large station includes not only waste sorting, but also recycling. Currently, in addition to plastic or waste paper, you can bring aluminum, foil, plastic straws for drinks, old toothbrushes and much more to the station. You can also bring used electronic cigarettes to the station, which are made into power banks for the Armed Forces in Kyiv and sent to the front.


Western oblasts

Rivne Oblast

Four soldiers from the Rivne Oblast were returned from russian captivity. These are Mykola Bashmanov, Mykola Sych, Oleg Pashchenko and Bohdan Yarmolchuk.

An exhibition of paintings of military personnel who are undergoing rehabilitation and attending art therapy classes is being prepared in the Rivne Oblast. It will be held as part of the "Art of the Unconquered" project. The presentation of the drawings is planned for March 2023.


Chernivtsi Oblast

A solar station was installed in a medical facility in Chernivtsi. During power outages, it supplies the center with electricity for five hours.

In the Oblast, more than 60% of schools have subjects, electives and special courses of spiritual and moral direction. Among them are "School of Married Life", "Fundamentals of Christian Ethics" and "Fundamentals of the Family".


Zakarpattia Oblast

Almost 32.9 million hryvnias of compensation from the state will be received by the people of Zakarpattia, who accommodated displaced persons. The Oblast is a leader in the nationwide "Shelter" program, as 95% of internally displaced persons live in the private sector.

Zakarpattia farmers will receive over UAH 82 million under the YeRobota program. The Zakarpattia Oblast leads in terms of the amount and number of approved grants for planting gardens and creating greenhouses. Thanks to this, 12 economic entities will have the opportunity to plant more than 200 hectares of hazelnuts, walnuts, apple trees, blueberries and blackberries, and two more agricultural enterprises will receive a grant for the construction of modular greenhouses.
