Northern oblasts

Kyiv

Kyiv signed a cooperation agreement with the Polish city of Wroclaw. During online communication, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko thanked Wroclaw Mayor Jacek Sutryk for the assistance of his city's authorities and community to the Ukrainian capital.

On March 14, on Sofia Square in Kyiv, they honored the memory of volunteers who stood up for the defense of Ukraine. The participants in the action lit candles in memory of the fallen volunteers and held posters with the emblems of volunteer battalions, in particular Azov.


Kyiv Oblast

Today, explosive ordnance disposal was carried out in the Vyshhorod and Bucha raions.

Two fully operational grenades were found in a field near the village of Buzova in the Bucha Raion. The tripwires, which were installed by the occupiers during their retreat in the spring of 2022, were found by local residents. The F-1 hand grenades were tied to trees. According to the Kyiv Oblast police, officers of the Bucha department and bomb squad experts are currently working at the site of the finds.

In the Kyiv Oblast, the restoration of buildings damaged as a result of Russian aggression continues. About 9,700 high-rise and private residential buildings have already been rebuilt in the oblast – more than 5,900 completely and almost 3,800 partially. Social infrastructure institutions are also being rebuilt in the oblast. In particular, 180 pre-school and general secondary education institutions, 95 health care institutions, 64 administrative services centers and administrative buildings have already been restored.

With the support of UNHCR and the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, the Ukrainian company QHome manufactures and installs 100 houses for families who lost their homes due to the war. The first batch of houses will be provided to the communities most affected by the war in the Bucha Raion.

Today, joint emergency response drills started at Irpin Lyceum No. 1 for employees of the State Emergency Service, police officers, medical personnel, utility workers, and educators.


Zhytomyr Oblast

SBU officers identified three supporters of the decisions and actions of the aggressor state in Ukraine. They are two residents of the Korosten and Zhytomyr raions and a resident of the city of Zhytomyr. They were served a notice of suspicion.

Jed Johnson, an American, became the guardian of six boys with disabilities who had previously lived in the Romanivka orphanage in the Zhytomyr Oblast. Together with them, the Johnson family lives near Zhytomyr in the village of Ivanivka.

On the Day of the Ukrainian Volunteer, kindergarten children and their teachers sent holiday greetings to soldiers undergoing treatment in Zhytomyr. They handed over several hundred letters of support, drawings, and sweets.


Chernihiv Oblast

On March 15, russians shelled the village of Khrinivka in the Snovsk community in the Chernihiv Oblast. The military reported two hits, probably from a 120-mm mortar. There were no casualties among the personnel or loss of equipment.

The village of Tymonovychi in the Semenivka community also came under enemy fire.

Explosive devices were disposed of by detonation near Chernihiv today.

On March 14, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Order of the Golden Star to Paraska Demchuk. Her son, Oleksandr Matsiyevskyi, was shot dead by the russian military after saying "Glory to Ukraine".

Also on March 14, the Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration handed over the orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, Class 3, and the orders For Courage, Class 3, to the families of the fallen soldiers.


Sumy Oblast

During the day on March 14, the russian military shelled three communities in the Sumy Oblast: Bilopillia, Shalyhyne, and Seredyna-Buda. The shelling damaged a private residential building in Seredyna-Buda.


Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy massively shelled the border settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk raions of the oblast.

Vovchansk is one of the cities that were most heavily shelled by the enemy. As a result of yesterday's shelling, the building of the fire-and-rescue unit, civilian industry facilities, and some shops were damaged. A 55-year-old woman was killed by a shell hitting a civilian car, and the 47-year-old driver of the car was wounded and hospitalized.

As a result of shelling of the village of Kolodiazne, Kupiansk Raion, private residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged. A 42-year-old civilian who was traveling in a car at the time of the shelling was killed.

A 58-year-old civilian man sustained a shrapnel wound in the urban-type settlement of Dvorichna, Kupiansk Raion. He received medical treatment on the spot.

Mine clearance works continue in the oblast. Over the past day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service neutralized 142 explosive devices.


Donetsk Oblast

Over the past day, russians lost about three companies in the assaults, including russian soldiers wounded and killed in the Donetsk sector. In addition, the number of assaults has decreased several times over the past week.

On March 14, one person was killed in Kramatorsk and 16 others were wounded in the Donetsk Oblast by the russian army shelling.

Since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 1,411 people have been killed and 3,199 wounded in the Donetsk Oblast. The exact number of the dead and wounded in Volnovakha and Mariupol is impossible to establish.


Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

In the Lysychansk sector, 1 person was wounded and 1 house was damaged in the village of Kolodiazi of the Lyman community. Numerous artillery bombardments of Serebrianka in the Siversk community took place during the day. No casualties reported.


Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

The enemy attacked the cities of Avdiivka, Kurakhove, the settlement of Kurakhivka, and the villages of Severne, Maksymilianivka, and Novoukrainka. The occupiers fired from aircraft, missile systems, Grad and Uragan MLRS, artillery, mortars, and tanks.

At night, there was a lot of thundering explosions in the Kurakhove community: 8 high-rise buildings, 8 private houses and a transformer substation were damaged in Kurakhove.

Agricultural enterprise buildings were damaged in Dachne. Artillery shelling of Mariinka, Krasnohorivka, Pobeda and Zoriane was recorded. A school was damaged in Halytsynivka, Novohrodivka community.

The Pokrovsk community is the only one in the Donetsk Oblast that operates a city program of financial assistance for destroyed housing. The owners of 25 apartments have already received financial assistance in the amount of UAH 80,000.

The Shahove community of the Pokrovsk Raion received humanitarian aid - the greenhouses from the "Freeway" charity fund.


Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Horlivka direction, it is known that 2 more high-rise buildings and 1 private house were damaged. There was no information about the victims. The outskirts of the Chasovyi Yar and Toretsk communities came under enemy fire. In Kostiantynivka, 2 people were injured, 8 houses were damaged; 1 more house was damaged in Oleksandro-Shultyne. In the Soledar community, intense shelling continued in Orihovo-Vasylivka, Minkivka and Vasiukivka.

Today, fighters of the 93rd Brigade shot down a russian plane near Bakhmut. Previously, it was a SU-24 bomber.


Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

In the Volnovakha direction, a person was injured and 3 houses were damaged in Prechystivka. Vuhledar and Novoukrainka are under fire.


Southern Oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy fired mortar shells on the water area of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.

In the Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.

In Mykolaiv, the "Yurt of Invincibility" has started work. It will act not only as a point of invincibility, but also as a center of Kazakh culture. The project is implemented at the initiative of the head of the parliamentary group on inter-parliamentary relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Verkhovna Rada, People's Deputy of Ukraine Serhii Nahorniak and Kazakh businessman Daulet Nurzhanov. Aidos Mukatayev, a philanthropist, purchased and delivered a yurt to Mykolaiv.

As of March 14, electricity supply was restored in more than 80 de-occupied settlements in the Mykolaiv Oblast.


Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the past day, March 14, the russian military shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of 14 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. As a result, four fires broke out in the Vasylivka and Polohy raions. Firefighters extinguished the fire.

The law enforcement officers informed two female educators from the temporarily occupied Berdiansk who cooperated with the russians and voluntarily agreed to head two city schools.


Kherson Oblast

During the day, the russian army hit the settlements of 4 communities in the Beryslav Raion. In particular, Zmiivka, Shliakhove, Novooleksandrivka, Mykhailivka, Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Mylove, Kachkarivka, Tiahinka, and Odradokamianka were shelled. Residential buildings and farm buildings were damaged. There were no injuries or casualties.

During the day, russian troops shelled the Kherson community 16 times, using 65 projectiles. Hits were recorded in Kherson, Zelenivka, Zymivnyk, Antonivka, Sadove, Molodizhne, Komyshany. The occupiers also shelled the country plots, the island and coastal parts of the community 6 times. There were no casualties or injuries.

Russian shells hit the civilian infrastructure facility in Ivanivka. There were casualties among the local population, and at least one private house was damaged.

In the temporarily occupied Abrykosivka (Kherson Oblast), the russian military has intensified filtering measures. In particular, invaders check houses, telephones, laptops and computer equipment of local residents.

This is due to the Ukrainian troops hitting the base of the russian unit. Previously, the losses of the russians amounted to four units of armored vehicles and 15 soldiers.

Ukrainian missile and artillery men of the Southern Defense Forces, together with aviators, struck the areas where the russian military were concentrated on the left bank of the Dnieper. Two D-20 and Hyacinth-B artillery installations, two units of armored vehicles and three drones were destroyed.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 8 units of equipment and 14 russian soldiers who tried to take positions on the islands near Kherson. The Ukrainian military also hit the base of one of the units of the russian army.

A cluster munition detonated in a field in the Stanislav community (Kherson Oblast) during sowing operations. A man blew himself up on a russian mine. He was injured.


Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

The russian military hit Marhanets. As a result of the shelling, 2 women (62 and 57 years old) died. Previously, 4 more women and 1 man were injured. An outbuilding, 7 high-rise and 4 private houses were damaged.

In the Pokrovsk community, more than 10 private houses, 3 cars and a minibus, household and garden buildings, private enterprises, a shop, gas pipelines and electricity networks were damaged. The blast wave destroyed the roofs, windows and walls of some buildings. One car burned completely.

The city authorities of Dnipro transferred another 9 high-capacity trucks to the front. They were bought from France.

The Dnipropetrovsk Oblast received new generators from partners. 75 units for the oblast were donated by the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, and 4 more from the "Strong Together 2023" charity fund.


Kirovohrad Oblast

The Security Service of Ukraine notified two residents of the Kirovohrad Oblast of the suspicion of encroaching on the territorial integrity of Ukraine and justifying russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. One of the men on social networks called for Crimea and nine other regions of Ukraine to be handed over to the russians, calling them "originally russian." The men face restrictions of freedom for up to five years.


Poltava Oblast

20 hectares of the former airfield were demined in the Poltava Oblast. Specialists examined 80 hectares of the aviation range, in particular, discovered and destroyed 29 explosive objects.

The daughter of "Zoriana" from Poltava, who fell in Mariupol, received the Order of Mother. Natalia Strebkova had knowledge of the basics of medicine and helped "Azov" contain the enemy. Even in the most difficult conditions, "Zoriana" supported the Azov husband. On April 15, a Poltava fighter was killed when a multi-ton projectile hit a bomb shelter in Mariupol. Natalia Strebkova was 45 years old. She is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.

The Poltava art school will be named after the deceased sculptor and teacher Sviatoslav Pashinskyi. A member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, a ceramist, sculptor and soldier died while defending the state. On March 30, they said goodbye to him in Poltava.

Voting for new names for 99 streets and alleys of the Poltava community has begun. The second round of renaming includes streets named after russian and soviet events, military, partisans and politicians.


Western oblasts

Lviv Oblast

The Lviv team "Skeiron", which digitizes cultural monuments, created a 3D tour of the Mariupol Drama Theater. As part of the "#SaveMariupolHeritage" project, they plan to "revive" other damaged sights of the city. Chernivtsi Oblast

The Novoselytsia community signed a Memorandum with the Slobozhanske community of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. It envisages cooperation between the two communities in the spheres of culture, education and sports, business and tourism, health care and exchange of acquired experience. The Memorandum also approves joint participation of communities in international initiatives and investment projects.

In the Chernivtsi Oblast, the religious community of the village of Verbivtsi completed the transition to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. They also plan to complete the registration of the transition of three more religious communities.

Humanitarian aid from the Klishkivtsi community was handed over to soldiers defending Ukraine in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, and Druzhkivka raions. Home-made meals, canned food, a generator, warm things, medicines, etc. were brought to the military. The whole community collected the cargo. Locals who currently live abroad also joined.

Residents of the Rukshin community handed over humanitarian aid to defenders in the Bakhmut and Kharkiv directions. It is about two cars, a thermal imaging device and food products.

More than 600 books in their native language were brought to the children of temporary immigrants who currently live in the city of Timisoara. This is fiction from different ages, as well as local periodicals. Currently, more than 200 children from Ukraine live in the city. They continue their studies remotely, either in shelters where volunteer teachers work, or they visit local schools.


Zakarpattia Oblast

As part of the update of the Development Strategy of the Uzhhorod Territorial Community until 2030, a survey is being conducted to determine the main problems that exist in the community, assess the business climate and prospects for future development. As noted in the Uzhhorod City Council, the opinion will definitely be taken into account when determining the priority tasks and ways of development of the Uzhhorod community.

The Lithuanians handed over a powerful generator to the Synevyr National Nature Park. In case of emergency shutdowns caused by russia's armed aggression, the generator will help ensure electricity and heat supply to the premises of the environmental protection institution.

Volunteer teams will organize a "dumpling battle" in Uzhhorod. The Volunteer Culinary Competition is organized by the Zakarpattia Military Support Movement. After the competition, the finished dumplings will be frozen and sent to medical institutions where wounded defenders of Ukraine are recuperating.
