Chernihiv Oblast

He spoke with the peasants who survived the horrors of the occupation.

Sumy Oblast

During the past day, the russians shelled the territories of Bilopillya, Krasnopillya, Yunakivka, and Khotyn communities. In Yunakivska, a farm building, refrigeration equipment, and a power line were damaged. There were damaged 6 private houses in Khotyn.

Kharkiv Oblast

The occupiers continue to shell the border settlements of the Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Izyum and Chuguyiv raion of the oblast.

Kupyansk, Veterinarne, Gatyshche, Velikiy Burluk, Dvorichna, Krokhmalne and other settlements were under fire last day.

Civil industry facilities were damaged as a result of shelling in Kupyansk. A 65-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized in a moderate condition.

In the village of Vovchanski Khutory, Chuguyiv raion, a store building was damaged as a result of enemy shelling.

Also, the enemy shelled the village of Boguslavka of the Izyum raion with rocket launchers, and a residential building was damaged.

Demining works are ongoing. Over the past day, pyrotechnic units examined almost 2 hectares of territory and neutralized 47 explosive objects.

Donetsk Oblast

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka directions. Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka remain at the epicenter of hostilities.

On April 2, the russian army carried out 29 strikes on 12 populated areas of Donetsk Oblast from aviation, S-300, Lancet, Gradiv, Uraganiv, Smerchiv UAVs, and artillery. 46 residential buildings, a kindergarten, an administrative building, factory workshops, power lines, gas pipelines, and cars were destroyed and damaged. 

On April 2, the russians killed 6 residents of Donetsk Oblast— in Kostyantynivka.

 Another 15 people in the oblast were injured.

In total, since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,446 civilians in Donetsk Oblast, and injured another 3,336 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovas is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

Seven civilians are in the local hospital of Kostyantynivka as a result of the shelling of the city on April 2. There are people in a difficult situation. Another three are being treated on an outpatient basis. Necessary building materials are issued to residents of damaged buildings. Shelling was recorded in Zarichne of the Lyman community and in Siversk.

The Security Service of Ukraine detained a resident of Kramatorsk, who was pointing rockets of the russian military at hospitals and hostels. She was informed of the suspicion and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention. The woman faces imprisonment for 8 to 12 years.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

The russians shelled the Kurakhove community 9 times with artillery — the energy infrastructure facility, 9 houses in Kurakhove and 20 houses in Hirnyk were damaged.

Maryinka, Krasnohorivka and Georgiivka were under fire in the Maryinka community.

Avdiyivka was hit by 3 rockets - the rockets were aimed at the residential sector and the territory of the Avdiyivka Coke Plant.

The administration building was damaged in Ocheretyne.

 For the residents of Pokrovsk in Chervonohrad, a shipment of aid arrived from the «Support Ukraine» charity fund with the assistance of the «Dobrobut Group» charity fund to the «Unity» humanitarian hub of the Pokrovsk city military administration. Medicines, baby milk, foodstuffs, diapers, candies were brought for the community - almost 1500 kg of goods in total.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

Kherson Oblast

On April 2, the russian army shelled more than 30 settlements located near the contact line. Zolota Balka, Tomaryne, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Zelenivka, Komyshany, Bilozerka and Kherson were under attack in the Kherson Oblast.

Over the past 24 hours, russian troops have carried out 20 strikes on Kherson Oblast, one on Kherson. They fired 131 shells from various types of weapons. A 75-year-old woman died.

A 60-year-old local resident tried to move an explosive object on his own near Shlyahove of Beryslav community. The explosive detonated in his hands. The man died on the spot.

During the day of April 2, the Southern Defense Forces destroyed three artillery installations and three units of armored vehicles on the left bank of the Kherson Oblast.

As of April 3, 12,500 hectares were demined in the Kherson Oblast, of which 8,200 were agricultural lands. This is only 10% of the mined territories, so mine danger in the Oblast remains high.

The Vodyane community in the Zvenyhorod raion is creating its own museum. Exhibits from each settlement of the community will be presented here - objects of antiquity, history and culture. Special attention will be paid to embroidered towels. The decoration of the exposition will be an old Bible from 1830.

Cherkasy rescuers have the only diving dog in Ukraine. Naida, a shepherd from the shelter, had special abilities. The dog immediately reacts to a person struggling in the water, rushes to him and pulls him to the shore. A dog does it much faster than a person, because it is not difficult and interesting for him. Now the dog is undergoing training and is learning to mine water areas of reservoirs.

A schoolgirl from Lviv Oblast, Anna-Maria Herman, raised more than half a million hryvnias to help the Armed Forces. The nine-year-old girl plays the bandura and sings patriotic songs. For the money raised, her family buys drones and radios for the army, and recently purchased a car for the front line.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

The first prayer in Ukrainian was held at the Holy Protection Cathedral. Last night, several thousand people gathered near the cathedral, chanting "Down with the moscow priest!" and "One united unified Ukraine." Activists held a meeting. They registered 1235 people. They voted overwhelmingly in favor of transferring the church to the Orthodox Ukrainian Church. The keys to the church, movable and immovable property were handed over to the audit committee elected by the townspeople during the meeting. In Slavuta, a charity concert and charity fair to raise funds for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, organized by the volunteer center "Fighting Bees," was held in the city's Palace of Culture. Together, they raised over UAH 11 thousand.

Rivne Oblast

Foresters in Rivne Oblast have planted 10.6 million seedlings. The initiative is part of the Green Country program and has already planted 1523.8 hectares of forest. Border guards, the military, and representatives of local communities joined the planting.

Volunteers from Dubno, collecting waste paper, plastic, and glass, raised more than UAH 100,000 for the needs of the Armed Forces. They started the campaign last summer. It was then that there were calls for russian-language literature to be recycled. So the volunteers took up the idea and offered the community residents to bring such books to their warehouse. And people responded.

Zakarpattia Oblast

The SBU detained a russian agent who incited anti-Semitic sentiments and threatened the head of the Jewish community in Zakarpattia Oblast. During a search of his apartment, SBU officers found computer equipment with evidence of the crime and pro-kremlin literature.

Since the beginning of the war, all payments provided for by the city program for honorary citizens have been transferred to support the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Zakarpattia Oblast. In total, representatives of the Mukachevo City Public Organization "Council of Honorary Citizens of Mukachevo" donated almost UAH 600 thousand to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
