The action was dedicated to the first anniversary of the liberation of Kyiv Oblast from the russian invaders. It is also a continuation of the tradition of our ancestors, when a victory garden was planted in the village during the liberation of Seagulls during the Second World War.

The team of "Active Community" in the city of Boguslav organized and held a student debate tournament in the local humanitarian college named after I.S. Nechuya-Levytskyi. Future lawyers and social pedagogues took part in the intellectual debate game. They discussed the regulation of volunteer activities, how the state should motivate citizens to return home from abroad after the Victory, etc. In addition to new experience and knowledge, the winning participants and finalists of the tournament received gifts from "Active Community" and "Bohuslav Sich" Public Organization, which helped in organizing the tournament.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Five quadcopters, three generators, oxygen tanks, a pickup truck, army beds, and medical supplies were handed over by volunteers from Zhytomyr for the newly created 41st military brigade.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Late in the evening of April 18, the russian army dropped two aerial bombs on Vovchansk in the Kharkiv Oblast: houses were damaged, about 60 trade pavilions burned down in the market, two people were injured, the bodies of two more dead were found by rescuers under the rubble of the summer kitchen.

In Kharkiv, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, about 4,400 applications for demining have been registered and more than 2,400 explosive items have been discovered. The city council names North Saltivka, Rohanskyi residential massif, the villages of Mala Danylivka, Pyatikhatky, and Zhukovsky as the most dangerous due to mine danger.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

Mykolayiv Oblast

Residents of Partyzanske, in Mykolayiv Oblast, return to the village destroyed by russian shelling. As of April 18, people received 2,300 sheets of slate, but more materials are needed to cover the houses.

The Mykolayiv Heat Supply Company received three block-modular boiler houses from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). They will be used as a backup source of heat supply for medical institutions in Mykolayiv.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The military is sure that the kamikaze drone attack on Odesa at night was aimed at finding and destroying air defense systems. 

The Malinovsky raion court of Odesa warned about landmines. The work of the institution was suspended. Visitors and employees were evacuated.

Kherson Oblast

The russian army attacked Kherson twice at night, there are defeats. In total, the Kherson community was shelled 18 times during the day: one person died, ten were injured.

During the day of April 18, the russian army shelled the settlements of four communities of the Beryslav raion. In Zmiivka, the shells hit the FAP building, houses and cars. There are no casualties or injuries.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Units of the armed forces of the russian federation shelled one of the villages of the Chervonogrygorivka community with barrel artillery. Greenhouses and panels of solar power plants were damaged, as well as fences, a garage, an outbuilding, a private enterprise and vehicles.

In the evening, the forces of the air command «East» shot down the enemy «Shahed-136» on the outskirts of the Dnipro.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi honored the brave rescuers from Nikopol by name. In particular, Major Artem Shuldyakov, Lieutenant Fedor Zayakin, Senior Sergeant Vasyl Muzychenko, Junior Sergeant Vitaly Bulkin.

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, almost half a thousand estates, including 251 houses, were flooded due to water logging. The largest number of huts with standing water are in the country village of Kurylivka, Dnipro raion. On April 20, a "social wardrobe" will be launched at the We Are Together support center for IDPs from the Kramatorsk Raion of Donetsk Oblast in Dnipro. It will provide free clothing for both adults and children will be given free clothes and shoes.

Cherkasy Oblast

Maksym Danchyshen from Zolotonosha received the honorary Golden Cross badge from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi. IDPs from the " flashpoint" areas arrived in Uman Oblast. Among them are many representatives of people with limited mobility. They will be accommodated in social protection institutions for evacuees, which provide social services of inpatient and palliative care.

Unified memorial steles will be installed in Cherkasy educational institutions. The goal is to immortalize the memory of graduates who gave their lives defending their homeland. The names of the fallen soldiers will be engraved on the monument.

A music track with lyrics by a 5-year-old Cherkasy resident, "Easter will be coming soon," earned $13,000. It has been listened to over 6 million times. Several dozen tracks have been created to the lyrics "Easter is coming soon, order meat and sausage" and have been shared on social platforms.

Kirovohrad Oblast

Four passenger buses were donated as humanitarian aid to the region's educational institutions by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the French company Transdev Location De Veicul.

Zakarpattia Oblast

The Uzhhorod City Council has supported the decision to temporarily switch the city's emergency centers to the "Ready to Work" mode.

Four ambulances were delivered to Uzhhorod from Austria. However, today transportation is much more important in the Kyiv Oblast, in the settlements that were previously under russian occupation - Bucha, Ivankiv, and Makariv. So ambulances are sent there.

Thanks to these specialized vehicles, medical facilities there will be able to strengthen and doctors will be able to respond to calls more quickly.

In Zakarpattia, an alley of tulips is blooming in memory of the fallen Roman Zhuk. He was a soldier, a scout of the artillery platoon of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Zakarpattia region. He died defending Ukraine from russian invaders. 13 thousand flowers bloomed in the alley.
