Northern oblasts

Kyiv

Before the memorial days, rescuers will check the areas for explosives. Ambulance crews, municipal security, and the police will also keep watch.

Kyiv Oblast

On this day 38 years ago, one of the largest man-made disasters occurred - the Chornobyl accident. At night, a chemical explosion went off at the Power Unit 4, causing a fire and reactor meltdown, which led to the formation of a radioactive cloud.  

A Rosatom official was served a notice of suspicion for violating the laws and customs of war. During the occupation of the Chernobyl NPP by the russian troops, he supervised the looting and destruction of the plant's assets. The total amount of damage exceeds one billion hryvnias. 

The Minister of Social Policy of Moldova, Alexei Buzu, visited Bucha in the Kyiv Oblast. He honored the memory of Bucha residents who died during the occupation and assured that "Moldova fully supports Ukraine."

Chernihiv Oblast

On April 25, russians attacked four border communities in the Chernihiv Oblast. Border guards recorded about 50 explosions.

Sumy Oblast

Drone attacks, artillery and mortars: the russian military targeted 12 communities in the Sumy Oblast during the day. A total of 188 explosions were reported.

At night, russian troops shelled three communities in the Sumy Oblast. 41 explosions were recorded. In the Esman community, a private household and a house of culture were damaged.

Today the enemy bombarded Bilopillia with various types of weapons. Two women aged 77 and 69 were killed. Three other women were wounded. Several houses, a shopping center, a bank building, garages, cars and a tractor were damaged.

In the afternoon, russian troops carried out air strikes with two guided bombs on an industrial facility in Sumy. The consequences of the attack are being clarified.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

15 people were wounded on April 25 in the Kharkiv Oblast: 13 as a result of an Iskander-M missile strike on Balaklia, and two more due to the russian shelling of Novoosynove with Uragan MLRS.   

Kupiansk, Hlushkivka, and Hlyboke came under air strikes. The enemy attacked Borova with Smerch multiple rocket launchers, and Kruhliakivka with Uragan MLRS. In Hlushkivka, private households, outbuildings, a fence, a tractor, and the kindergarten building were damaged. 

In the Kupiansk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 10 attacks in the areas of Kyslivka and Berestove in the Kharkiv Oblast and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk Oblast.

78 children were removed from some settlements as part of forced evacuation.

The girls, aged 5 and 16, were sleeping in the house when the russians fired KABs into their house in the village of Derhachi this morning. A 4-year-old child and a 52-year-old woman were also injured.

The russians hit the Lyptsi community with four KABs. One hit was at the Slobozhanske Lyceum, two more near the Lyceum. One of the aerial bombs hit a house where three people were. There are no injured.

In the village of Sotnytskyi Kozachok, a russian drone attacked a car: a 57-year-old volunteer and his 55-year-old wife were injured and have contusions.

Donetsk Oblast

Yesterday, the russian army shelled nine cities, villages and towns of the Donetsk Oblast with missiles and artillery. A total of eight residential buildings were damaged, and critical infrastructure was also hit.

Five people in the Donetsk Oblast were killed by russian shelling, eight were wounded. In total, since the beginning of the invasion, not counting the victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha, 1,938 people have died, and 4,840 people have been wounded.

More than 95 attacks by the russian army were repelled by the Ukrainian military in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. The occupying forces stormed the Avdiivka and Bakhmut fronts the most, where the russian federation is trying to finally capture Ocheretyne and take Chasiv Yar.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

Heavy fighting continues on the approaches to Chasiv Yar. The russian army continues its attempts to encircle the city.

Southern oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

Yesterday, russian troops once again attacked the Mykolaiv Oblast with artillery and kamikaze drones. The Kutsurub, Ochakiv, and Halytsyn communities came under attack. Residential buildings were damaged.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

On April 25, the russian army carried out 326 strikes on 8 towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Ten underground schools are planned to be built in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast in the near future. Shelters will be repaired in another ten educational institutions.

Kherson Oblast

Yesterday, the russian army shelled 21 settlements in the Kherson Oblast. There were hits in a shopping center, a kindergarten, and an agricultural enterprise. A high-rise building, six private houses and cars were damaged. Six people were injured.

In the morning, the russian military attacked the village of Veletenske in the Kherson Oblast. A 34-year-old man received a fragmentary hand wound and an explosive injury.

In the Kherson Oblast on the night of April 26, the Air Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine destroyed the russian orlan-10 reconnaissance UAV.

Today, a 39-year-old resident of Kozatske village in the Kakhovka Raion of the Kherson Oblast, died as a result of russian shelling.

The russian military attacked a civilian car near Zolota Balka in the Kherson Oblast with a kamikaze drone. A 44-year-old man was injured, he was given medical assistance.

Central Oblasts 

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

At night of April 26 russian army hit Nicopol twice with FPV-drones. Heavy artillery was used to bombard the Marganets community. There were no diseased or injured. 

Nine years old boy is hurt from bombarding Nicopol, that happened in a day of 26th April. The child is in a mildly heavy condition. 42 years old man is injured as well. Four appartment complexes and gas pipeline are damaged. 

Western Oblasts

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Today an action “Bring heroes from capture” took place in Khmelnytskyi. Families of war prisoners and missing militarians participated.

Zakarpattia Oblast

Children from the Donetsk Oblast were enjoying healthy vacation at center “Artek” in Zakarpattia and at child pension “Kosiv” in Prykarpattia.
