As a result of an enemy missile attack, 2 civilian men aged 55 and 54 died, and a 52-year-old man was hospitalized with injuries. Doctors assess his condition as serious.

Also, during the day, the enemy fired artillery at settlements located near the contact line and the border with the russian in the Kupyansk, Chuguiv and Kharkiv raions. A 60-year-old man died in Kupyansk due to enemy shelling.

Demining is ongoing in the region. During the day, 29 explosive objects were removed and neutralized. In the village of Snizhnivka, Izyum raion, a 43-year-old man was blown up by an unknown explosive device. He was hospitalized with moderate injuries.

Donetsk Oblast

Volonterska sotnia NGO and Team4ua, as part of the World Food Program, issued 1,500 kits containing long-term food products to the residents of Sonachny and Lazurny microdistricts.

Air defense forces shot down 21 cruise missiles in Odesa Oblast, 2 in Kherson Oblast, 1 in Mykolaiv Oblast.

The Odesa energy security program is already in operation. Thanks to the help of European partners, two generators of 1250 kW each were obtained. They will be installed at the boiler houses that supply large neighborhoods of the city. Thus, another 60,000 residents of Odesa will be guaranteed heat in the event of a lack of electricity.

In the Information Security Center of Odesa, a training was held for displaced youth on the topic: «Rights and algorithm of actions of internally displaced persons as a result of the armed aggression of the russian federation» The training was conducted by attorney Dmytro Popravka. On December 30, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Bezreka was laid to rest in the village of Oleksandrivka in Kropyvnytskyi raion. He was born in 1979. The war took the life of a soldier on December 23. God bless the memory of the Heroes. 

Poltava Oblast

Hostile tank shelling ended the life of defender Valentyn Kurinevskyi from Poltava oblast. The warrior was performing combat tasks in Donetsk oblast. Defending Ukraine from occupants, Valentyn Kurinevskyi was killed on December 25 near Vodiane village during tank shelling.

In Poltava oblast, reconnaissance man-machine gunner Valerii Chetveryk was laid to rest. The defender with the call sign "Chichia" worked as a trucker before the war. The warrior laid down his life for the independence of Ukraine in the battles for Donetsk oblast.

Ihor Kuznetsov, a squad leader of a platoon of unmanned aerial systems born in 1991, planned to become a priest after the victory. He was killed on July 13 as a result of artillery shelling near Siversk in Donetsk oblast.

Two more defenders from Poltava oblast fell in the struggle for our freedom: 28-year-old Oleh Babenko was from the village of Kybintsy in the Myrhorod community. He died on December 28. And on December 20, Vitalii Brovin was killed near the village of Bilohorivka in Luhansk oblast. The man was 34 years old. He lived in the Hlobynska community. The warrior had the rank of senior soldier.

Violators of curfew on New Year's Eve in Poltava oblast will be checked and taken to police stations. The patrol has the right to stop such violators to check documents. In case of the absence of documents, the person may be taken to the police station.

Another 1320 sets of clothes were delivered from Poltava oblast to the military of the territorial defense brigade. Rivne Oblast

In Rivne oblast, four defenders of Ukraine were sent on their last journey. Residents of the Dubrovytsia community said goodbye to warrior Bohdan Kotiash. He was called up for mobilization and performed duties in the Border Guard Service units. Unfortunately, the soldier's life ended suddenly.

In Rokytne raion, a human corridor of honor for the fallen Hero Petro Kravets was held. The hero was killed on December 22 as a result of mortar shelling in Bakhmut, Donetsk oblast.

In Varash, they said goodbye to the Hero Vasyl Litvinchuk. On December 23, a 38-year-old senior driver of a rifle company came under mortar fire in Bakhmut.

The Boremel community said goodbye to a soldier, Petro Sukhodol. Petro was killed on December 21 in a battle in Bakhmut.  

Today Rivne said goodbye to the defender of Ukraine Sergeant Serhii Salo. Serhii served near Bakhmut, and later his unit was transferred to Kharkiv oblast. In Kupiansk raion the heart of the 44-year-old sergeant stopped on December 22. Eternal glory to the Heroes.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Bukovyna said goodbye to the servicemen who defended their native land from russian invaders at the cost of their lives. Soldiers Vasyl Oliynyk was sent on his last journey in the village of Ivanivtsi, Roman Yashchuk - in the town of Novoselytsia.

For dedication to the protection of state sovereignty: Leonid Krents from Bukovyna was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.

Yuriy Kalenchuk from the village of Zavoloka in the Kamianska community, together with fellow villagers, makes trench candles. Since October, the man has already sent more than 3000 of them to the military on the front line. He set up production in his garage. 

The community of Nedoboevtsi sent humanitarian aid to the defenders on the front line: sweets, salads, clothes, trench candles, etc. Also, letters from Bukovinian students were sent to the military. 

Two families of IDP medics who work in Sokyriany hospital will celebrate the New Year in new apartments. Housing for them was arranged in the former surgical department. The apartments, the keys to which have already been received by the owners, have been renovated, and have electricity, water, heating, and household appliances.  

The IV International Forum of Inclusiveness was held in Bukovyna. Its purpose is to draw attention to the need to build an inclusive society in Ukraine and to demonstrate successful projects. The event was attended by public activists, representatives of charitable foundations, and local governments. They shared their experience in implementing inclusion in various fields.  

Zakarpattia Oblast

Zakarpattia presented its own digital humanitarian and communication portal. Now the region has its own " Zakarpattia Diia", only with different functionality and purpose. Work on this project began before the outbreak of large-scale war, and now it is fully operational. Here, everyone can find or add the necessary information: vacancies, humanitarian aid, business support, housing, social support, donations, assistance to the Armed Forces, and much more. 

These days, Ukrainians, who suffered in the war, - both children and adults, as well as orphans, people with disabilities, and low-income residents of Uzhhorod and Uzhhorod district - are receiving New Year's gifts from German philanthropists. The packages are delivered by volunteers of the Center for Humanitarian Aid "Owl's Nest".
