Northern regions
Kyiv
At the next plenary meeting of the Kyiv City Council, the Leo Tolstoy Square metro station is planned to be renamed to Ukrainian Heroes Square.

Kyiv Oblast
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented Bucha with the Hero City award. Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk received the honorary award from the hands of the President.
In Bucha, 70 bodies of people who were killed by russian invaders at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine remain unidentified.
Dmytro Nazarenko, acting head of the Kyiv Oblast State Administration, checked the progress of restoration of the damaged infrastructure in Bucha. Together with Mykola Boyko, deputy head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, Danylo Mavlianov, head of the Raion Military Administration, and Anatoliy Fedoruk, head of the Bucha community, they visited Vokzalna, Vodoprovodna and Yablunska streets. There, roofs of high-rise buildings and lighting poles are being replaced, and private sector repairs and reconstruction are underway. They also visited the Yablunka (Apple-tree) kindergarten to check the equipment of the shelter. During the occupation and hostilities, about 300 local residents took refuge in this kindergarten.
On March 31, a memorial stele was unveiled in the Central Park of Irpin in honor of actor and volunteer Pavlo Li, who was killed by a russian bullet last March while on his way to help civilians in Irpin.

Zhytomyr Oblast
In Zhytomyr, volunteers organized a holiday for internally displaced children. They held contests, danced, sang, and treated them with various delicacies. At the end of the meeting, all families with children received gifts and humanitarian aid from the benefactors.
On March 31, Zhytomyr hosted a presentation of the exhibition of contemporary symbolic photography "Unconquered". Photo artists from all over Ukraine presented their works there. The photo art project is dedicated to Ukrainian defenders and all Ukrainians fighting for independence.

In Zviahel, the traveling exhibition "At the Break" was opened in the “Idea Hub. Territory of Success" premises. Its main theme is the difficulties and dramatic changes in the lives of civilian Ukrainians since 2014 due to the war in Ukraine.

Chernihiv Oblast
In the evening of March 31, russians shelled the Novhorod-Siversk community in the Chernihiv Oblast. Border guards recorded 16 hits, probably from self-propelled artillery systems, near the village of Hai Novhorod. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.
On April 1, russian troops shelled the Semenivka community. There were four hits from tube artillery near the village of Karpovychi, and three hits from an anti-tank grenade launcher near the village of Bronyvy.

Sumy Oblast
Over the past day, russians shelled 4 communities in the Sumy Oblast: Znob-Novhorodske, Bilopillia, Khotyn, and Esman.
On the morning of April 1, russians shelled the territory of the Seredyna-Buda community with tube artillery. Four hits were recorded. The shelling did not result in any serious consequences.

Eastern regions
Kharkiv Oblast
Yesterday, the russian occupiers bombarded the border settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk raions. In particular, Veterynarne, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Kamianka, Masiutivka, Sinkivka, Krokhmalne and other settlements were under enemy fire.
Today, a 43-year-old civilian man was killed in the village of Dvorichna as a result of attacks by the occupiers.
Mine clearance in the oblast continues. Over the past day, reinforced pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service examined about 8.5 hectares of territory and neutralized 91 explosive devices.

Donetsk Oblast
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka sectors. Thanks to the actions of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, 70 enemy attacks were repelled in the Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors.
The most intense fighting continues for the settlements of Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka.
In just one day, russians killed 2 residents of the Donetsk Oblast and wounded 3 more.
Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,440 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,316. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
The russians launched 5 rocket attacks on Druzhkivka. 1 civilian was injured. A bank building, an educational institution building, a shop, a mini-boiler house and 2 apartment buildings were damaged. Municipal services are working on the spot to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
In the Lysychansk direction, numerous shellings took place in Siversk and Serebrianka. Three shells also hit Torske in the Lyman community.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
In the Donetsk direction, during the night and morning of April 1, the russians fired at Avdiivka: three times from artillery and once from "Grad" multiple launch rocket system. 2 people were killed in the city, including a 5-month-old child. Houses on 6 streets were damaged.
Periodic artillery shelling was recorded in Mariinka and Krasnohorivka.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy does not stop storming the city of Bakhmut, trying to take it under complete control. During the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka and Ivanivske settlements. Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka and Mayorsk were affected by enemy shelling in the Donetsk Oblast.
In the Soledar community, shelling took place in the villages of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Minkivka.
Explosions were heard on the outskirts of the Chasiv Yar and Toretsk communities.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion
In the Volnovakha direction, Vuhledar and Novoukrainka came under fire. There were no casualties.

Luhansk Oblast
The Ukrainian military command notes that Bilohorivka remains the site of the most intense fighting in the Luhansk Oblast. However, yesterday the enemy tried to conduct offensive actions not only there, but also in the vicinity of Makiivka, Kreminna, Chervonopopivka, Dibrova and in the area of Serebriansk Forestry.

Southern Oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
As of 7:30 a.m. on April 1, no enemy shelling was recorded on the territory of the Mykolaiv Oblast.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast
During the past day, March 31, the russian military shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of 19 settlements in the
Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
In Zaporizhzhia, the consequences of the russian missile attack on March 31 continue to be eliminated. 82 private houses were damaged. Four of them have significant destruction.

Odesa Oblast
This year, the Odessa "Humoryna" (an annual festival of humor and satire) celebrates the 50th anniversary. On the occasion of this date, Ukrposhta issued a special anniversary stamp. Its extinguishing ceremony took place in the art gallery of the Summer Theater. Leonid Sushchenko, one of the founders of "Humoryna", received the first stamp. Stamps will also be sent to other founding fathers of the festival, Ihor Kneller and Oleh Stashkevych. In addition, an exhibition for the anniversary of "Humoryna" was organized in the City Garden and a concert "With a Song to Victory" was held with the participation of the orchestra of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Kherson Oblast
Over the past 24 hours, russian troops have attacked the Kherson Oblast 54 times with aviation, artillery and Grad multiple rocket launchers. Kherson was shelled 5 times. Residential blocks, private and apartment buildings were targeted. Three people died, two were injured.
On April 1, russian troops struck Kherson with artillery, hitting a private house. A 48-year-old man, who was in the house at the time, died.
On the left bank of the Kherson Oblast, the Defense Forces hit a stronghold of the russian occupiers and a field ammunition depot. 14 russian military units, two large-caliber "Hyacinth-B", two unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Mavik" type, a tank, a light motor boat and four units of armored vehicles were destroyed.

Central oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
The invaders shelled the Marganets community in the Dnipro Oblast twice in one day on March 31. The building of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, vehicles and several commercial buildings were destroyed. Metal-plastic windows, facade and furniture inside the premises were damaged by the blast wave and fragments. People were not injured.
In Kamianske, a space was opened for the families of the fallen defenders of Ukraine. The hub was created for the needs of the NGO "Families of Fallen Heroes of Kamianske". The hub consists of two auditoriums. They are the Hall of Memory with photos of the fallen residents of Kamianske, as well as rooms for holding meetings, commemorative events, providing psychological support, etc.
Dnipro schools received humanitarian aid from the German twin city of Cologne. 70 laptops, 74 docking stations and 157 power cables were handed over to Dnipro schools.

Poltava Oblast
12 communities of the Poltava Oblast received charging stations from international partners. The equipment was purchased and delivered within the framework of the UN Development Program project financed by the Embassy of Japan. 31 chargers will be handed over to the Poltava, Lubny, Pryshyb, Horishni Plavni, Zinkiv, Khorol, Reshetylivka, Novi Sanzhary, Myrhorod, Kremenchug, Pyriatyn and Zavodske communities to ensure uninterrupted work of humanitarian headquarters and local self-government bodies.
The communities of the Poltava Oblast are massively ordering the installation of modular shelters for educational institutions. That is the simplest construction shelter, which is assembled from ready-made blocks in the ground. If necessary, the number of modules can be increased, decreased or moved to another place. During November 2022 - March 2023, the communities of the Poltava Oblast planned to install at least nine modular shelters worth almost UAH 16 million.
In the village of Maiachka, near the local kindergarten, a modular shelter is being built. In case of danger, it will protect 40 children. This is one of the first protective structures of this type. The Nekhvoroshcha community allocated more than 1 million hryvnias for construction. The community plans to build such shelters for three kindergartens and a school. They are designed for a total of 150 children. The protective structures will have heating, power supply, benches for sitting, and generators.

Western oblasts
Zakarpattia Oblast
In Zakarpattia, work on the construction of a new and restoration of a large relocated enterprise from Kramatorsk has begun. It specializes in the manufacture of turbines and equipment for energy generation. Most of the products will be sold for export. Several thousand specialists will work here, and this platform will become one of the budget-forming platforms.
More than 14,000 hryvnias were collected in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the report concert of the Uzhgorod Music School No. 1 called "Spring will win", which took place on the stage of the Zakarpattia Oblast Philharmonic.
